Sicherheitshinweise
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung Der Slimdrive SL und Slimdrive SL-FR 2M ist ausschließlich geeignet für den Ein-
satz
• in trockenen Räumen
• in automatischen Türsystemen für horizontal bewegte Türflügel
• in Eingangs- und Innenbereichen des Fußgängerverkehrs in gewerblichen Be-
triebsstätten und öffentlichen Bereichen
Der Slimdrive SL und Slimdrive SL-FR 2M darf nicht als Feuer- oder Rauchschutz-
tür eingesetzt werden.
Der Slimdrive SL-FR 2M ist für den Einsatz in Flucht- und Rettungswegen zugelas-
sen.
Der Slimdrive SL darf nicht als Flucht- und Rettungswegstür eingesetzt werden.
Sicherheitshinweise Vorgeschriebene Montage, Wartungs- und Instandsetzungsarbeiten müssen von
Sachkundigen durchgeführt werden, die von GEZE autorisiert sind.
Für sicherheitstechnische Prüfungen sind die länderspezifischen Gesetze und Vor-
schriften zu beachten.
Eigenmächtige Änderungen an der Anlage schließen jede Haftung von GEZE für re-
sultierende Schäden aus und die Zulassung für den Einsatz in Flucht- und Rettungs-
wegen erlischt (bei Slimdrive SL-FR 2M).
Bei Kombination mit Fremdfabrikaten übernimmt GEZE keine Gewährleistung.
Auch für Reparatur- und Wartungsarbeiten dürfen nur GEZE-Originalteile verwendet
werden.
Der Anschluss an die Netzspannung muss von einer Elektrofachkraft ausgeführt wer-
den. Netzanschluss und Schutzleiterprüfung entsprechend VDE 0100 Teil 610 durch-
führen.
Als netzseitige Trennvorrichtung einen bauseitigen 10-A-Sicherungsautomaten ver-
wenden.
Den Displayprogrammschalter vor unberechtigtem Zugriff schützen.
Das Detektionsfeld des Bewegungsmelders in Fluchtrichtung muss der AutSchR ge-
nügen (bei Slimdrive SL-FR 2M).
Gemäß der Maschinenrichtlinie 98/37/EG muss vor Inbetriebnahme der Türanlage
eine Gefahrenanalyse durchgeführt werden und die Türanlage gemäß der CE- Kenn-
zeichnungsrichtlinie 93/68/EWG gekennzeichnet werden.
Den neuesten Stand von Richtlinien, Normen und länderspezifischen Vorschriften
beachten, insbesondere:
• BGR 232 „Richtlinien für kraftbetätigte Fenster, Türen und Tore“
• VDE 0100, Teil 610 „Errichten von Starkstromanlagen mit Nennspannungen bis
1000 V“
• AutSchR „Richtlinie über automatische Fenster, Türen, Tore“
(bei Slimdrive SL-FR 2M)
• Unfallverhütungsvorschriften, insbesondere BGV A1 „Allgemeine Vorschriften“
und BGV A2 „Elektrische Anlagen und Betriebsmittel“
• DIN EN 60335-2-103 „Sicherheit elektrischer Geräte für den Hausgebrauch und
ähnliche Zwecke; Besondere Anforderungen für Antriebe, für Tore, Türen und
Fenster“
Sicherheitsbewusstes Arbeiten Arbeitsplatz gegen unbefugtes Betreten sichern.
Schwenkbereich langer Anlagenteile beachten.
Arbeiten mit hohem Sicherheitsrisiko (z. B. Montage des Antriebs, der Haube oder
der Türflügel) niemals alleine ausführen.
Haube/Antriebsverkleidungen gegen Herunterfallen sichern.

Nur die im Kabelplan angegebenen Kabel verwenden. Schirme gemäß Anschluss-
plan auflegen.
Lose antriebsinterne Kabel mit Kabelbindern sichern.
Vor Arbeiten an der Elektrik:
• den Antrieb vom 230-V-Netz trennen und die Spannungsfreiheit prüfen.
• die Steuerung vom 24-V-Akkumulator trennen.
• bei Verwendung einer unterbrechungsfreien Stromversorgung (USV) ist die Anla-
ge auch bei netzseitiger Freischaltung unter Spannung.
Für Litzen grundsätzlich isolierte Aderendhülsen verwenden.
Bei Glasflügeln Sicherheitsaufkleber anbringen (Mat.-Nr. 081476).
Verletzungsgefahr bei geöffnetem Antrieb. Durch sich drehende Teile können Haare,
Kleidungsstücke, Kabel usw. eingezogen werden!
Verletzungsgefahr durch nicht gesicherte Quetsch-, Stoß-, Scher- und Einzugstellen!
Verletzungsgefahr durch Glasbruch!
Verletzungsgefahr durch scharfe Kanten im Antrieb!
Verletzungsgefahr durch frei bewegliche Teile während der Montage!
Prüfung der montierten Anlage Maßnahmen zur Absicherung und Vermeidung von Quetsch-, Stoß-, Scher- und Ein-
zugstellen:
• Funktion der Sicherheitssensoren und Bewegungsmelder prüfen.
• Das Erfassungsfeld des Bewegungsmelders in Fluchtrichtung muss die
Öffnungsweite x 1,5 m vor der Tür überdecken.
• Der Bewegungsmelder in Fluchtrichtung (siehe AutSchR) muss Personen mit ei-
ner Geschwindigkeit größer als 0,1 m/s erfassen.
• Schutzleiterverbindung zu allen berührbaren Metallteilen prüfen.
Umweltbewusstes Arbeiten Bei der Entsorgung der Türanlage die verschiedenen Materialien trennen und der
Wiederverwertung zuführen.
Batterien und Akkumulatoren nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgen.
Bei der Entsorgung der Türanlage und Batterien/Akkumulatoren die gesetzlichen Be-
stimmungen einhalten.

Safety precautions
Intended use The Slimdrive SL and Slimdrive SL-FR 2M are only suitable for use
• in dry rooms
• in automatic door systems for horizontally moved door leaves
• in entrances and interior areas of pedestrian traffic in commercial plants and
public areas
The Slimdrive SL and Slimdrive SL-FR 2M may not be used as a fire or smoke
protection door.
The Slimdrive SL-FR 2M is approved for use in escape and rescue paths.
The Slimdrive SL may not be used as an escape and rescue path door.
Safety precautions The prescribed installation, maintenance and repair work must be performed by
properly trained personnel authorised by GEZE.
The country-specific laws and regulations are to be observed during safety-related
tests.
GEZE shall not be liable for injuries or damage resulting from unauthorised
modification of the equipment, and the approval for use in escape and rescue paths
is voided when unauthorised changes are made (Slimdrive SL-FR 2M).
GEZE is not liable if products from other manufacturers are used with GEZE
equipment.
Only original GEZE parts may be used for repair and maintenance work as well.
The connection to the power supply must be made by a qualified electrician. Perform
the power connection and equipment earth conductor test in accordance with
VDE 0100 Part 610.
Use a customer-accessible 10-A overload cut-out as the line-side disconnecting
device.
Protect the display program switch from unauthorised access.
The detection field of the motion detector in the exiting direction must satisfy the
AutSchR "Directive for automatic windows, doors and gates" (Slimdrive SL-FR 2M).
In accordance with Machine Directive 98/37/EC, a danger analysis must be
performed and the door system identified in accordance with the CE Identification
Directive 93/68/EEC before commissioning the door system.
Observe the latest versions of guidelines, standards and country-specific regulations,
in particular:
• BGR 232 "Guidelines for power-operated windows, doors and gates"
• VDE 0100, Part 610 "Installation of high-voltage systems with nominal voltages up
to 1,000 V"
• AutSchR "Directive for automatic windows, doors and gates"
(Slimdrive SL-FR 2M)
• Accident-prevention regulations, especially BGV A1 "General regulations" and
BGV A2 "Electrical systems and equipment"
• DIN EN 60335-2-103 "Safety of electrical devices for home use and similar
purposes; Special requirements for drives for gates, doors and windows"
Safety-conscious working Secure workplace against unauthorised entry.
Watch swinging area of long system parts.
Never carry out work with a high safety risk (e.g. installing the drive, hood or door leaf)
while alone.
Secure hood/drive shrouding against falling.
Use only cables prescribed in the interconnection diagram. Lay screening in
accordance with the connection diagram.
Secure loose, internal drive cables with cable ties.

Before working on the electrical system:
• disconnect the drive from the 230 V mains network and check to ensure that it is
not supplied with power.
• disconnect the controller from the 24 V battery.
• note that if an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is used, the system will still be
supplied with power despite the fact that the power supply is disconnected.
Always use insulated wire-end ferrules for wire cores.
Attach safety labels to glass door leaves (Id. No. 081476).
Danger of injury by opened drive. Hair, clothing, cables etc. can be pulled in by
rotating parts!
Danger of injury by unprotected pinching, impact, shearing or drawing-in spots!
Danger of injury by broken glass!
Danger of injury by sharp edges in the drive!
Danger of injury during installation by freely moving parts!
Inspection of installed system Measures for security and prevention of pinching, impact, shearing or drawing-in
spots:
• Check the functioning of safety sensors and motion detectors.
• The detection field of the motion detector in the exiting direction must cover the
opening width x 1.5 m in front of the door.
• The motion detector in the exiting direction (see AutSchR) must detect people
moving faster than 0.1 m/s.
• Check earth connection to all metal parts which can be touched.
Environmentally-conscious working When disposing of the door system, separate the different materials and have them
recycled.
Do not dispose of batteries and storage cells with household waste.
Comply with the statutory regulations when disposing of the door system and the
batteries and storage cells.
