Important Safety Information
Read all of the instructions before using this appliance and keep safe for future
reference.
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed,
including the following;

This appliance is for domestic use only. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
Do not handle the plug or appliance with wet hands.
Do not immerse the main body in water.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
This product is not a toy.
Do not use the appliance if any parts appear to be faulty, missing or damaged.
Always use the appliance on a dry, level surface.
Do not leave the appliance unattended when connected to the mains supply.
Always unplug from the mains supply before carrying out any cleaning, performing
user maintenance.
Switch off the appliance by the power switch before removing from the plug from
the mains supply.
Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or damaged in any way.
Check to ensure that the electricity supply matches that shown on the rating plate.
Only use the attachments/accessories supplied with the product or recommended
by Giani.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified service agent in
order to avoid a hazard.
Only use this appliance for its intended domestic use. Giani Ltd will not accept any
liability if the appliance is subject to improper use, or failure to comply with these
instructions.
Keep your hands and loose clothing away from moving parts.
Always use the guards provided.
Take care when lifting and moving the appliance as it is heavy. Ensure the stand
mixer head is locked and that the blender attachment and the food processor
attachment are removed before moving.
ATTENTION: Please ensure that the blender and food processor covers/
attachments are all fitted and locked correctly, and the stand mixer head is
locked down for operation.
CAUTION: The maximum run time for this product is 3 minutes. Do not
exceed this time as it may damage the motor. Allow to cool down sufficiently
between each use.

How to Use
The Stand Mixer:
H-beater: For making cakes, biscuits, pastry, icing, fillings, eclairs and mashed
potato.
Whisk: For eggs, cream, batters, sponges, meringues, cheesecakes, mousses,
souffles.
Do not use the whisk for heavy mixtures (eg creaming fat and sugar as this could
damage it).
Dough hook: For yeast mixtures.
1. Turn the Stand Mixer Head release knob clockwise and raise the mixer head until
it locks.
2. Insert the desired attachment and rotate anti-clockwise.
3. Fit the bowl onto the base, press down and turn anti-clockwise.
4. Turn the Stand Mixer Head release knob clockwise and lower the mixer head until
it locks.
5. Switch on by turning the On/Off/Speed switch to the desired setting. Switch to
pulse for short bursts.
Important:
1. Switch off and scrape the bowl with a spatula frequently.
2. Eggs at room temperature are best for whisking.
3. Before whisking egg whites, make sure there is no grease or egg yolk on the whisk
or bowl.
4. Use cold ingredients for pastry unless your recipe says otherwise.
Hints for bread making:
1. Never exceed the maximum capacities; otherwise you will overload the appliance.
2. If you hear the appliance straining, switch off, remove half the dough and do each
half separately.
3. The ingredients mix best if you put the liquid in first.

Blender Jug:
1. Put your ingredients into the Blender jug and fix the blender jug cover onto the
body tightly.
2. Put the Blender jug on the power unit, make sure it is connected properly.
3. Switch on by turning the switch to the desired setting.
4. You can add some liquid material (such as oil or cream) to the food when mixing.
Do this by removing the measuring cup and pour in.
5. Turn the control dial to “0” and turn off at the mains socket when finished. Pour
the mixed food out.
Important:
1. The blender jug mixing blade is very sharp. If you need to scrape food out of
the blender, please use a spatula.
2. Large pieces of food need to be cut into small pieces. (Max size approx:
2cm×2cm×2 cm).
ATTENTION: Always ensure the Food Processor Cover is fitted and locked, and
the Stand Mixer Head is locked down for operation.
Food Processor Bowl
Chopping Function:
1. Place the drive shaft onto the drive connector.
2. Put the plastic bowl on the power unit and turn the handle clock-wise to lock into
position.
3. Place the blade support on the drive shaft in the middle of the bowl, and press it
to the bottom. Then fix the chopping blade to the blade support.
Warning: The blade is very sharp. Please handle with extreme caution.
4. Add your food (e.g. Meat) into the bowl. Big pieces of food need to be cut into
small pieces. (Max size approx. 2cm x 2cm x 2cm).
5. Place the lid on the bowl, and turn it clockwise until you hear it lock into position.
6. Plug in and switch on at the mains socket. Turn the On/Off/Speed knob to the
required level. (The speed is increased by levels. PULSE is the highest level. Turn
the knob to the PULSE setting for high speed bursts while chopping).
7. When the chopping is finished, turn the knob to the“0”and switch off at the mains
socket. When the blades have stopped spinning, remove the Food Processor
Bowl.

Slicing & Shredding Function:
1. Place the drive shaft onto the body.
2. Fix the Slicing/Shredding Blade to the blade attachment disc.
3. Put the bowl on the power unit first, and then turn the bowl in a clock-wise
direction, until you hear it lock into position. Then fit the blade attachment disc to
the blade support shaft in the middle of the bowl.
4. Place the lid on the bowl, and turn it clockwise until you hear it lock into place.
Plug in at the mains socket, turn the switch to the required level. Add food through
the feeding tube and push down with the food pusher.
NEVER put your fingers down the feeding tube - Always use the food
pusher.

Cleaning
1. Unplug the unit and switch off at the mains socket. Allow the appliance to cool
down before cleaning.
2. Do not immerse the motor unit in water and make sure no water enters the
appliance.
3. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth.
4. Do not use a wire brush, steel wool or any strong abrasives to clean the
appliance, they will damage the appearance.
5. Take the appliance apart and clean all the accessories separately.
Hint: all parts must be washed in warm soapy water ONLY. Take extreme
caution when washing blades - they are extremely sharp!
6. Let all parts dry thoroughly.
