Screw locks type slide rail installation
▼If you want to use the screw lock type slide rail to mount the server into the rack, do the
following.
1. Remove the 2 screws at the bottom of the chassis with a Philips screwdriver as shown
below.
2. Perform the following actions to remove the two plastic stands.
As shown in the figure, loosen the 2 screws of the fixed plastic stand with a Philips
screwdriver, and then press the snap-fit with your fingers to disengage the plastic stands
from the chassis.

3. Perform the following actions to remove the top cover.
Use a Philips screwdriver to loosen the 2 screws securing the top cover and push the top
cover in the direction of the arrow below.
3. Perform the following actions to lock the left and right ear frames to the sides of the
chassis.
As shown in the figure, align the mounting holes of the left and right ear frames with the
screw holes on the left and right sides of the chassis, and then tighten the fixing screws with
a Philips screwdriver.
4. Remove inner from the middle-outer rail.

5. Install inner rail to both side of chassis.
6. Install middle-outer rail onto rack post.

7. Insert chassis into middle-outer rail on rack.
7-1. Pull out the middle rail to full-extended.
Ensure the ball bearing retainer is at the most front.
7-2 Installing chassis into middle outer rails, when the chassis is locked, pull the released
tab on the inner rail and proceed to pull the chassis into rack.

7-3 Use M5 screws to lock the chassis to the rack.
