Gigaset ONE X5100 User manual

ONE X5100
Quick start guide
For users of Smart Home

Gigaset ONE X5100 is a Z-Wave Plus Secure (S0) enabled
controller. This means it can communicate with other
Z-Wave Plus Security Enabled devices securely using AES-
128encryption.
To achieve even better security the controller has
implemented (S2) Unauthenticated, (S2) Authenticated and
(S2) Access Control security levels also. They guarantee even
higher security for the user.
Gigaset ONE X5100 serves as a base station for Z-Wave
sensors and as a base station for Gigaset's Universal
Handsets(HX).
Gigaset ONE X5100 controller supports only one association
group - the lifeline association group - and only one node can
be assigned to it. The group is used by Gigaset ONE X5100 to
send Device Reset Locally Notication.
All Z-Wave Plus certied devices from any manufacturers are
compatible with Gigaset ONE X5100 Z-Wave Plus controller.
If the devices added to the Z-Wave network are non-battery
powered they will also act as repeaters for increasing
network's reliability and enhancing the network's range.
