WARRANTY TERM
GIGATENT warrants this product to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 1
year. Warranty is in effect beginning the date the product was purchased.
Keep your sales receipt to prove the date of purchase and your original ownership.
For warranty claims made during the Warranty Period, GIGATENT will replace any
defective product part free of charge. Should a part on your GIGATENT product fail, log
onto our website at gigatent.com and follow the replacement parts link to make a
warranty claim. We will discuss the problem with you and once we confirm the product is
under warranty, we will ship replacement parts to you within 72 hours. For questions or
not cover the costs of removing and replacing defective parts from your GIGATENT
product. So, if your problem requires a repair technician, you must pay any labor
charges.
This Limited Warranty is automatically void if your GIGATENT product is modified in any
way, misused or abused. GIGATENT will not be liable for any damages whatsoever arising
out of the use or inability to use its products, even if GIGATENT has been advised of the
possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law,
GIGATENT disclaims any responsibility for incidental or consequential damages.
In the event that there is a defect in materials or workmanship of a GIGATENT product,
IMPORTANT: THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT BE VALID IF THE PRODUCT IS NOT
OPERATED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS.

1-INTRODUCTION
The Solar Pad with Rechargeable Lighting System combines the use of solar energy with
highly efficient LED technology. It is designed for convenient, versatile and simple
operation. The system features a weather resistant solar pad which plugs into the
battery port, charging the built-in LED flashlight. The flashlight panel also features four
convenient 6v DC connection ports and 1 USB port. Simply connect the included LED
light bulbs to the connection ports for extra lighting. The USB port can charge most
small electronics and includes a multi USB cable charger. As an extra feature, the
flashlight offers multi-level lighting options: 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% brightness. The
panel also features a charging status indicator light. Use this product anywhere, from
home, camping, garage, motor vehicle or anywhere portable lighting is needed.
2-ATTENTION
A- Please read the instructions before use.
B- To conserve battery charge and performance, turn off the power when not in use.
C- To preserve the life of the battery, the product should be charged 10 consecutive
hours once every 3 months.
D- Only use a 7.5V DC adapter (not included) when charging this product.
E- Do not use any other solar panel to charge the battery.
F- Do not open the solar pad.
G- Do not open the sealed lead-acid battery.
H- Keep away from water & flammable material.
I- Keep between 32ºF - 104ºF.
3-INSTRUCTION
A- For first time use, the battery must be fully charged. Position the solar pad to receive
8 hours of direct, unobstructed sunlight (time may vary pending light conditions). Be
sure to connect the solar pad cable into the charging port on the flashlight panel.
Note: flashing red light indicator represents battery charging. Green light indicator
represents fully charged battery.
B- When battery is fully charged, disconnect the solar pad cable from the flashlight
panel. Flashlight, LED lightbulbs and USB charging port are ready to use.
C- The flashlight has 4 levels for brightness 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. Toggle to each
brightness level by pressing the “ON/OFF” button on the flashlight panel.
D- To use the 3 LED light bulbs, connect the LED bulb cables to the available DC ports
on the flashlight panel. Note: the light bulb cables are equipped with “on/off” switch.
E- The standard USB cable can be directly connected to the 5V output charger for
charging mobile phones, games consoles, digital cameras, MP4 players and other
small capacity equipment.

4-TROUBLESHOOTING
A- When the red light flashes, the system needs to be charged with the solar panel
or adapter (not included). During charging, the red light will keep
flashing every 3 seconds. Light turns to green when fully charged.
B- If the red light is not flashing every 3 seconds, nor the green light flashing during
charging, check if your DC cable is connected properly. If using the solar panel,
ensure the cable is connected properly and there is enough sunlight to charge.
