Girard Systems awnings may be operated in light wind and rain
conditions. When periods of heavy rain and or high wind are expected
the awning must be closed. Never leave the awning open and
unattended.
Damage caused by wind and rain is not covered by warranty.
All awnings must be closed prior to moving the vehicle for any reason.
As an extra safety precaution a visual check that every awning is fully
closed is required.
Damage caused by failure to comply with these instructions is
not covered by warranty.
Before using your awning, ensure that the area into which the awning
will be deployed is free of obstructions (Trees, walls, pillars, posts,
other vehicles etc.)
Damage caused by collisions with any of the above or similar is
not covered by warranty.
Before using your awning make sure that all of your electrical circuits
are operating correctly. Recreational Vehicles can generate AC power
from three separate sources. The electrical system transfer switch in
your vehicle will select power for the awning as follows:
Shore Power –if connected;
Generator Power –if the generator is running;
Inverter Power –batteries must be charged for inverter operation.
Girard Systems awnings are supplied with an electric motor appropriate to the
product.

THE G–LINK SYSTEM
The G-Link motors and control modules provided by Girard Systems communicate by
use of RF signals on a frequency of 433.92 MHZ. This eliminates the need for wiring
and the drilling of holes in the vehicle. These components must be electronically
matched, programmed or paired before use. This is usually done at the Girard Systems
factory. Should the need arise for the user to pair a device with the motor controller
they must refer to the appropriate manual for the devices applicable to their particular
installation.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The 98GC2763B is a Multichannel RF transmitter, powered by 12 Volts DC designed to
control up to 20 awnings. See figure 2 for description of each pad.

a. Supply power to the GC274B
b. Press and hold the MIDDLE and RIGHT buttons on the GC274 (Fig 3) for
about 3 seconds until the Green LED starts to flash.
c. Press STOP (Fig. 1): The Green LED will stop blinking and remain illuminated.
d. Press the button (Fig.8) on the REMOTE DEVICE being
programmed. The Green LED on the motor controller will extinguish.

Iluminated LCD. This unit is designed with an iluminated LCD, the LCD will start
sleeping mode/standby after 30 seconds of inactivity, waking it up by pressing any
button.
Magnetic Holder.- This new G link transmitter was designed with a magnetic plate
holder to keep it in place and make it more user friendly. Using See Fig.3 below.

Buttons Description:
IN Button retract the awning
STOP Command
OUT Button Extend the awning
CH- Button Change channel Down
CH+ Button Change channel Up
LED Button Turns ON/OFF the light on the awning
LOCK Button. By Pressing this button for 10 seconds, all the buttons
Will be safety Locked
UNLOCK Button. Press this button to 10 seconds to disable the Lock
Mode.

Special Funtions.
This new 12 volts wall switch has the option of customized the number of channels.
User can change to UP to 15 channels.
Customizing Channel Mode:
1. Press and hold CH- and CH+ at the same time, the letter C will appear on the
display, release the buttons when it shows number 15.
2. Using IN or OUT buttons select the desired channels.
3. Press the STOP button to set the channel. Smal letter o will appear on the display
confirming that the channel has been changed.
