FIG. 1 – Set up
Open the 3 tripod legs as shown in figure 1.
FIG. 2 & 3 – Leg angle adjustment
Each leg can be set at 2 angles of spread. To change from first to second
angle, pull the leg down (2) and open it as shown in figure 3 (pull&fix system).
FIG. 4 – Mounting the camera
Mount the camera on the head using 1/4” screw “A”.
Fig. 5 & 6 – Use
The gear “B” locks the movement of the head.
To release the ball for positioning the camera, rotate the gear “B” anticlockwise
direction. Once the desired position is achieved, lock the ball by rotate the gear
“B” in a clockwise direction.
Maximum stability is achieved when legs are set on the second angle.
Fig. 7, 8 & 9 – How to remove the head
The head can be removed (fig. 7) in order to mount the camera directly on the
tripod. Using the TORX key supplied with the tripod, unscrew the screw “C”
(fig. 8) and remove the head. Before mounting the camera or the Gitzo Traveler
ball head, screw down the screw “D” (with Allen key supplied with the product)
until it disappears (fig. 9). Mount the adapter “Z” (supplied with the product) into
the ball head thread for assembling the Gitzo traveler ball head GH1382TQD.

In order to remount the head on the tripod, unscrew the screw “D” about 1 mm
from the base, and align the hole “E” on the base of the head with the screw “D”.
Lock the head with the screw “C” using the TORX key.

If leg tightness decreases as a result of prolonged use of the tripod, please use
a TORX key (supplied with the product) to tighten the legs. Carefully tighten
the screws “F” one-third of a turn only, checking the tightness obtained each
time. If necessary, tighten the screws an extra one-third of a turn until you obtain
the required leg tightness.

Aprire le 3 gambe del treppiede come mostrato nella figura 1.
FIG. 2 e 3 - Regolazione dell’angolazione delle gambe
Ciascuna gamba prevede 2 angolazioni d’apertura. Ogni gamba può essere
impostata a 2 angoli di diffusione. Per passare dal primo al secondo angolo, tirare
la gamba verso il basso (2) e aprirla come mostrato nella figura 3.

Montare la fotocamera sulla testa usando la vite da 1/4 “ “ A “.
FIG. 5 e 6 - Uso
La ghiera “B” blocca il movimento della testa.
Per rilasciare la sfera per posizionare la fotocamera, ruotare la ghiera “B” in
senso antiorario. Una volta raggiunta la posizione desiderata, bloccare la sfera
ruotando la ghiera “B” in senso orario. La massima stabilità si ottiene quando le
gambe sono impostate sul secondo angolo.
FIG. 7, 8 e 9 - Come rimuovere la testa
La testa essere rimossa (fig.7) per poter montare la fotocamera direttamente
sul treppiede. Utilizzando la chiave TORX fornita con il treppiede, svitare la vite
“C” (fig. 8) e rimuovere la testa. Prima di montare la fotocamera o la testa a
sfera Gitzo Traveller, avvitare la vite “D” (con chiave a brugola in dotazione con
il prodotto) fino a quando scompare (figura 9). Montare l’adattatore “Z” (fornito
con il prodotto) nell’attacco filettato della testa per il montaggio della testa
Gitzo traveler GH1382TQD.
