2. How to remove Outer Tube
T e Torc outer tube is accurately located in place wit t e retainer. T e outer tube can be removed at any time by
completing t e following steps.
Note! A tapered ferrule is permanently fixed to t e to t e outer tube – Do not attempt to remove t e ferrule from t e tube.
3. How to re-attach Outer Tube
To replace t e outer Tube, complete t e following steps.
Note! If you have any questions regarding the Torch assembly or this procedure, please contact
Glass Expansion.
If fitted, remove Torc assembly from ICP. (Not S own)
Step 2.2. Unscrew Retainer ½ turn
Step 2.3. Grip Outer Tube firmly (as s own) and pull away from Torc Body – You will ear a “click” as t e outer tube releases
Hint: It will elp w ilst pulling on t e outer tube to rock it slig tly from side to side – Do not rotate t e Tube.
Step 2.4. Fully unscrew t e Retainer t en carefully wit draw t e Outer Tube from t e Torc Body

C eck t at bot locating surfaces (Outer Tube and Torc body) are clean and free of damage.
Step 3.2. Carefully slide t e Outer Tube over t e Inner Tube – T e Outer Tube will self locate into t e Torc body.
Step 3.3. Tig ten t e Retainer to fix t e Outer Tube in place (Moderate pressure by and is adequate).
Step 3.4. If desired, return Torc assembly to ICP and connect as normal. (Not S own)
