An inverter is not a toy. It is an electronic device and failure to follow safe
operating procedures and safety warnings at all times could result in serious
personal injury or death in addition to the injury or death of others. Additionally, to
safely operate the Glion Inverter, you must be able to:
•Read and understand all Glion Inverter reference materials, including this
Users Instruction Manual and all Glion Inverter safety instructions contained in
this Manual.
•Have sufficient hand strength to hold the Glion battery and inverter.

•Use both hands operating the device.

SAFETY SPECIFICATIONS AND OWNER OBLIGATIONS
1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS. The below instructions and tips will help you to operate your Glion
Inverter safely. PLEASE NOTE - The Glion Inverter is designed to be used by one person at a time
and is not recommended for any person younger than 16 years old.
•It is your responsibility to read this manual and all safety and training instructions
and all warning labels before operating the Glion Inverter.
•Do not use other brand batteries or outside of the United States.
•Comply with all local laws and regulations while operating the Glion Inverter.
2. SAFE OPERATING CONDITIONS:
Do not operate this inverter in rainy or wet environment
Do not cover or obstruct any air vent openings and/or install in any zero-clearance
compartment
Prolonged exposure to heat or freezing temperature will reduce working life of the inverter
Only use Glion Battery intended for Balto Electric Scooter
Wear eye protection and gloves are recommended
Do not have smoke or any fire/flammable source (fume or gas) near the device
Avoid dropping this device or associated battery on hard surfaces.
Avoid dropping heavy or metal objects onto this device or battery.
Avoid direct sunlight, heat source, moisture, dusty or conductive contaminants while
operating or storing the inverter and battery
Do not have strong magnetic devices near this device.
Avoid touching eyes while using this scooter
Do not let children operate this inverter
Do not operate this inverter on surfaces that are wet, frozen, oily, or unpaved.
Never put inverter in bed with linens or with other flammable objects
Never put heavy objects on top of the inverter.
Do not exceed the maximum load capacity (500watt).
Do not use in connection with life support systems or other medical devices
Do not OPEN the inverter shell under any circumstances to avoid shock or explosion
hazard
Do not use it with any other lithium ion battery.
Always make sure the appliance used is under 500 watt power rating and is 110v 60 Hz
Turn off the inverter immediately and disconnect battery if the device or battery is too hot
to touch
3. GUEST USE: Never permit a guest to use this inverter unless the guest has read the user
manual and all the warnings.

4. INSURANCE: YOUR INSURANCE POLICIES MAY NOT PROVIDE COVERAGE FOR ACCIDENTS
INVOLVING THE USE OF THIS INVERTER. TO DETERMINE IF COVERAGE IS PROVIDED, CONTACT
YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY OR AGENT BEFORE USING THE DEVICE.
5. OPERATOR AGE: Do not allow anyone under the age of 16 to operate this inverter. This
inverter is designed for operation by one person age 16 or older.
6. SURROUNDINGS: Use your inverter in a controlled environment away from hazards. Never
operate the inverter near steps or swimming pools.
7. INTENDED USE: This inverter is not designed or intended for industrial or commercial usage.
8. TEMPERATURE: Do not use the inverter when the temperature is below -5 C (23 degrees F) or
above 40 C (104 degrees F)
9. WEATHER CONDITIONS: Avoid using in wet conditions.
10.WATER RESISTANCE: This inverter is NOT water resistant.
11. SAFETY WHEN NOT USING: When the inverter is not being used, place it in a safe stable and
secured environment, keep it away from fire, water and other hazards.

OPERATING GLION INVERTER
Take the inverter out of box. Choose a safe clean environment. Make sure you following safety
instruction and safe operating conditions specified above. Make sure On/Off switch is OFF.
Step 1: Carefully take Balto battery from Glion off the Glion Balto Electric Scooter and install it
onto the battery docking base provided with the inverter. Tighten the strap.
Step 2: Insert the plug from the battery docking base into the 36v DC socket on the inverter

Plug your AC appliances (make sure its power rating is under 500watt) into the AC 120v socket on
the inverter. Then turn on the ON/OFF switch. You should see voltage showing on the LCD
screen. A fully charged Balto battery should show around 41volt. If you start to use your
appliance, inverter LCD screen should show the working power wattage. Fan should start to work
if internal temperature is reaching preset level.

Always turn OFF the switch BEFORE you unplug your appliance from the inverter.
WARNING: Attempting to use this product against the safety
instructions and out of normal operating range (<500w) can result in
fire/explosion and serious injury or death.
For Battery Safety, Charging and Operation, please refer to Glion Electric
Scooter’s owner’s manual.
BATTERY DISPOSAL:
Your Glīon product uses lithium ion batteries, which must be recycled or disposed of in an
environmentally safe manner. Do not dispose of a lithium ion battery in a fire. The battery may
explode. Do not dispose of a lithium ion battery with your household trash. The incineration,
landfilling, or combining a lithium ion battery with your household trash is prohibited in most
jurisdictions. Locate a place that collects and recycles lithium ion batteries. To search online, go
to www.call2recycle.org and enter your zip code, or if you prefer to locate a place by phone, dial 1-
877-2-RECYCLE to find the nearest retailer that collects lithium ion batteries.
STORAGE AND DAILY CARE
1. Do not store the inverter in direct sunlight, in damp places, or in temperatures below -
5°C (23°F) or above 40°C (107°F).
2. Fully charge the battery every three months if not in use.
3. Keep the inverter clean (See section on Cleaning and Servicing).
GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING
If you experience problems with your inverter, please refer first the following troubleshooting
guide:
Problem: The inverter does not operate.
Possible causes/solutions:
1. The inverter is not turned on. Solution: Turn on inverter by pressing on/off button.
2. The battery is not charged. Solution: Charge Battery.
3. The battery is not locked and secured. Solution: Secure battery connections.
Problem: The Inverter Operates Intermittently.
Possible causes/solutions:
1. The battery is low on charge. Solution: Recharge Battery.

2. The battery is not locked and secured into its base. Solution: Secure battery
connection
3. The inverter is over heated and is protecting itself. Solution: Check the appliance to see
if it is rated more than 500 watt.
Problem: Inverter shuts down when turning on the appliance.
Possible causes/solutions:
1. Your appliance has a starting instant power requirement above 740 watt. Solution:
Check your appliance and try a smaller power rating appliance.
IF YOU’VE CONSULTED THE TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE AND ARE STILL HAVING PROBLEMS
WITH YOUR INVERTER, PLEASE CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE by phone at 855-500-2640, by
replacement parts, product support, and instructional videos. Use only replacement parts
supplied by Glīon.
CLEANING, STORING, AND SERVICING
1. KEEP YOUR INVERTER DRY: Do not ride your inverter in wet conditions unless
unavoidable. Dry off your inverter immediately.
2. KEEP YOUR INVERTER CLEAN: Remove dust and dirt from your inverter with a wrung-
out, damp rag. Dry immediately. Never use solvents. Do not spray your inverter down
with water or submerse it.
3. STORAGE: Do not store your inverter or battery in direct sunlight or in a high
temperature environment like inside of your car. Store your inverter indoors, out of the
elements. Room temperature is ideal for storage. Avoid storing the inverter in wet
environments. Recharge the battery in full after it has been completely discharged and
before storing the battery for longer periods. Even in storage, please monitor the battery
level and recharge the battery fully at least once every 3 months.
4. SERVICE. Should your inverter require service, please contact customer service through
our website (www.getglion.com). Your satisfaction is our greatest priority!
PRODUCT REGISTRATION
We encourage you to register your Glion Electric Inverter with us. Registration helps us ensure
your continued satisfaction and enables us to contact you with new product instructions. Also,
registration and proof of purchase are necessary to make a warranty claim. Please register your
Glion Electric Inverter at www.getglion.com/register. Please keep your original proof of purchase
in a safe place in the event of a warranty claim. Inverter serial number is located on the
bottom side.

GLĪON Inverter LIMITED WARRANTY
Probity Cell LLC, dba Glīon® (“Probity Cell”) warrants to the first retail purchaser of this product
that it is free from defect in materials and/or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the
date of purchase. This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or any damage,
failure or loss caused by improper maintenance, storage or use of the Glion Inverter. This limited
warranty will be void if the product is ever used in a manner other than specified in this manual,
opened/modified in any way, or rented.
If a defect exists, Probity Cell will, at its option and to the extent permitted by law either (1)
provide components to repair the Glion Inverter using new or refurbished parts at no charge to
you; (2) exchange the Glion Inverter with a functionally equivalent product that is new or
refurbished; or
(3) refund the original purchase price. After repair or replacement, the Glion Inverter/functionally
equivalent product will be covered by this limited warranty for the longer of the remainder of the
original limited warranty period, or 90 days after Probity Cell ships the Glion
Inverter/functionally equivalent product to you. Probity Cell’s responsibility to repair or replace
the Glion Inverter, or to refund the purchase price, is your exclusive remedy. This warranty
excludes damage caused by abuse, misuse, accidents, unauthorized repairs, alterations,
modifications, failure to follow instructions in the User’s Instruction Manual and battery Operating
Instruction, or other causes that are not defects in materials and workmanship for which Probity
Cell is responsible.
This Limited Warranty does not cover parts which may, under normal wear and tear, require
replacement including, without limitation, tires, upholstery, fuses, etc.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PROBITY CELL IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY
DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF
THE USE OR SERVICE OF THE GLION INVERTER. THE WARRANTY AND REMEDIES STATED
ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES OR
CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN, EXPRESS, STATUTORY, OR IMPLIED TO THE
EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. PROBITY CELL SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL
IMPLIED AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION,
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF
IMPLIED WARRANTIES CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED, SUCH WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED IN

DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. Any recovery is limited to the original
purchase price. No person is authorized to modify this Limited Warranty.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or exclusions of
incidental or consequential damages and the above limitations may not apply to you. This Limited
Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights, which vary from state to state.
This warranty and all lawsuits, disputes, and claims will be governed by and interpreted under the
laws of the State of Nebraska, regardless of any conflict of law principles. The parties also
irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction of the District Court of Phelps County, Nebraska, and agree
that the District Court of Phelps County, Nebraska shall have exclusive jurisdiction and be the sole
venue for the consideration of any lawsuits, disputes, and claims between the parties.
The parties hereby waive the right to any jury trial on any lawsuit, dispute, claim, or controversy.
The parties also waive any right to consolidate or to have handled as a class action any proceeding
on any lawsuit, dispute, claim, or controversy. The parties agree that any proceedings will be
conducted solely on an individual basis. The parties agree not to seek to have any lawsuit, dispute,
claim, or controversy heard as a class action, private attorney general action, or in any other
proceeding in which either party acts or proposes to act in a representative capacity.
If any provision herein is found to be illegal or unenforceable, that provision will be severed with
the remaining in full force and effect.
