The LSX3100 check cashing kiosk provides patrons with quick access to cash through the Global
Payments VIP Preferred e-Check cashing solution, reducing waiting lines at the cage.
Features and Functions
Preferred Plus Electronic Check Cashing
Preferred Plus Electronic Check Cashing is a paper-less, check-less electronic check guarantee
process. Using their VIP Preferred Card, customers are able to cash E-checks at the kiosk without
having to go to the cage for payment, allowing customers to avoid lines at the cage. All Preferred Plus
transactions are 100% guaranteed by Global Payments.
Choice4™
Optionally, Choice4™ offers casinos the convenience of accepting E-check transactions while allowing
selected customers to extend settlement terms up to 28 days. Customers can choose up to four
personal accounts for payment of the standard E-check, along with the desired settlement term.
Choice4™ also eliminates the risk of returned checks – with every approved transaction 100%
guaranteed by Global Payments.
ATM Cash Withdrawal
The LSX3100 is also an ATM. Customers can withdraw cash using most bank cards and a valid PIN.

LSK BusinessView Reporting/Portal
BusinessView is a secure, data retrieval and management tool that provides 24-hour online access to
transaction, funding and reporting information. The browser-based application, accessible through the
LSX3100 portal, assists with reconciliation efforts by providing next-day transaction data as well as 25
months of historical data through a robust search engine.

It is important to carefully consider where you install the LSX3100. This section covers the following

Dimensions
The dimensions of the LSX3100 are 17.7 X 23.6 X 65.0. The LSX3100 weighs 507 lbs.
Power and Network
The LSX3100 uses a standard wall outlet. However, the kiosk should be attached to a power linethat
does not have a scheduled shutdown time for maintenance or other purposes. Power supplyfeatures
include:

LSX3100 devices are connected to the main power supply and to the PC unit for its DC power. The
LSX3100 ID Card Reader requires two external cable connections:
USB for data communications
DC power input (24VDC)
Internet Connection
The Internet connection requires a Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable. The network line to the kiosk should not be
included in a domain which has automatic Windows updates or other automatic uploads.

Gaming Laboratories International, LLC (GLI) provides independent certifications to suppliers of
equipment to the gaming industry. GLI provides technical standards that cover criteria which impact
the credibility and integrity of the kiosk, from both revenue collection and security perspectives.

Setting Up the LSX3100
This section includes helpful information when setting up the LSX3100:
Loading cash to the kiosk: Drop/Fill
Performing a sub drop
Loading cash into the cassette

Loading Cash to the Kiosk: Drop/Fill
Follow these steps to load cash into the LSX3100:
1.
Open the monitor door and enter your credentials. The Main Menudisplays.
2.
Press Drop Functions.
NOTE: If a drop has been completed, the Drop Functions button displays “Fill Functions.”
3.
To purge/dump coins in the hopper, select the appropriate denomination, and press Purge.

Pull all the cassettes (Remove cassette from HCDU). When complete, press Done. The statusof
the cassettes displays on the right side of the screen, indicating if the cassette has been pulled.

Pull the stacker cans, and press Done.

The Drop is now complete. The kiosk prints a Drop Receipt, and the Initial Fill Amounts screen
displays.
7.
To change the fill amount, select the appropriate denomination and press Modify. The ModifyFill
Amount screen displays. You can increase or decrease the amount by 1, 10, or 100 increments.
To change the actual dollar amount, press Denomination.

Press Done.

Select the denomination you want, and press Done. The system confirms the changedcurrency,
and displays the modified denominations.
10.
When you complete the fill, press Done. The kiosk prints a Fill Receipt and displays theMain
Menu.
Performing a Sub Drop
1.
While on the Main Menu, pull the desired can.
2.
If inserting a new can, highlight the can pulled, and select New before inserting the newcan.
3.
If replacing the can, highlight the can pulled, and select Replace before inserting the newcan.

Loading Cash into the Cassette
Follow these steps to load cash into the cassette:
1.
Remove cassette from HCDU:
Hold the handle and lift the front end
so that it is released from its
dropped position.
Pull straight and support the
cassette body with the other and
before it comes out of the HCDU.
2. Pull the push plate all the way back to the
case in which it can be locked to its open
position. The push plate moves forward by
its own force from spring action when it is
released after cash loading.
3. Inspect the note pickup mechanism for
foreign objects before loading cash.

4. Load cash into the cassette. Please refer to
the warning label inside the cassette lid
when loading cash for additional
information.
5. Insert cassette into HCDU by pushing it all
the way in until it slides and drops.

Loading Receipt Paper
Follow these steps to load receipt paper into the LSX3100:
1. Check the paper roll to ensure you
have the appropriate type of paper.
The roll should be 66mm in width
and coated side out (CSO).
2. Position the paper roll with a spindle
on top.
3. Pull the loose end of the paper to
the rear in clockwise direction.
4. Turn the paper around flexible shaft
“A” and move it forward.
5. Insert the tip of the paper into the
printer head and cutter module “B.”
6. The printer will feed the paper and
discharge after cutting.

choice. This optional accessory can be included with the initial installation, or later added bycontacting
your Global Payments Business Relationship Manager or your Global Payments Sales
