Analogue radio-controlled watch with LCD
Characteristics:
Liquid crystal display: date and month or seconds and day of week or time zone
Analogue display: hours and minutes
Time and date can be adjusted manually
Up to 24 different time zones can be set
Automatic switch between summer and winter time for the corresponding time zone
Time is calibrated up to 3 times a day using radio signals

Operation:
Please use a sharp object to operate the buttons (S1 and S2).
Setting the time zone:
Press and hold down S2 for 2 seconds. The time zone flashes in the display. Press S1 to select
the time zone, e.g. select “0H” for Europe.
The time zones are displayed in the following order:
1H 2H 03H 04H 05H 06H 07H 08H 09H 10H
11H 12H –12H -11H -10H -09H -08H -07H
-06H -05H –04H -03H -02H –01H 0H
Note:
2H = the time is advanced by two hours.
-2H = the time is put back by two hours.
Automatic summer/winter changeover
The watch adjusts summer/winter time according to the time signal
A “*” in the display indicates that summer time is active.
Reset:
Press S2 for 5 seconds. “00:00” flashes in the display. The hour and minute hands move to the 12
o’clock position.
If the hands do not remain in the 12 o’clock position, this must be corrected manually.
Briefly press S1 to gradually move the minute hand in a clockwise direction.
If you press S1 for 2 seconds, the minute hand automatically moves and if you press S1 again, the
hand stops moving.

If S2 is pressed briefly or if no buttons are pressed for one minute, the calibration process is
cancelled and the watch starts to receive the time signal.
Liquid crystal display
Press S1 to see the following data in the LCD:
seconds and day of week, time zone, month and date.
Adjusting the time manually
Press S2 for 2 seconds to adjust the values in the following order:
time zone, hours, minutes, seconds, year, month, date
Each of the values displayed can be adjusted using S1.
Searching for the time signal manually
In normal time mode, press S1 for 2 seconds and the watch will start to search for the signal. The “
”symbol in the display flashes during the search.
You can abort the search by pressing and holding down S2 for 2 seconds.
Once a signal has been received, this is indicated by the “ ” symbol, and the watch is adjusted to
the new time.
If no signal is received, the “ ” and “ ” symbols disappear from the display, and the watch
continues to run with the old time.
You can tell the quality of the signal received from the height of the “ ” symbol:
one level = weak signal, two levels = good signal, three levels = very good signal.
End of battery life display
When the battery is running low (less than 2.3 V), the “ ” symbol appears in the display. Please
have the battery replaced by a dealer.
Used batteries disposal
The user is legally obliged (battery regulation) to return used batteries and accumulators.
Disposing used batteries in the household waste is prohibited! Batteries containing
hazardous substances are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin. The symbol
indicates that the product is forbidden to be disposed via the domestic refuse. The
chemical symbols for the respective hazardous substances are Cd = Cadmium, Hg =
Mercury, Pb = Lead.You can return used batteries free of charge to any collecting point of
your local authority, our stores or where batteries are sold. Consequently you comply with
your legal obligations and contribute to environmental protection!
