RT71-DWC is similar to RT77-DWC, but output is like mini-BTE
The hook must always have a lter inserted. Open conguration with thin tube is possible - please see part No’s for tubes and domes in this doc
If the TOP HSG is damaged, it can be replaced. If the the mic lters need to be replaced, they can be replaced without separating the HSG parts - see
instr in this doc. Due to the mech construction of the HI and a sealing inside the HI, the BOT HSG must not be replaced. If it needs to be replaced, the
complete HI should be returned for repair/replacement
HIs are available in these colours:
Gold (GLD), Warm Grey (WRM GRY), Espresso (ESP), Deep Black (DP BLK), Bronze (BRNZ), Champagne (CHMPN), Sparkling Silver (SPK SIL),
Graphite (GRPH)
Note that the white mic lters attached to the TOP HSG are changed to transparent lters

To connect the audio adapt:
Attach the audio adapt to the contact points
in the HI and click it in place as shown
To remove the audio adapt:
Press the release button and
remove the audio adapt

C70R: Remove the hook lter by pushing the tip of the lter tool into
the hook and slide it all the way through until the hook lter falls out

Only the TOP HSG ASM can be replaced.
Due to the mechanical construction of the
HI and a sealing inside the HI, the BOT
HSG must not be replaced. If it needs
to be repl, the compl HI should be re-
turned for repair/replacement. If the mic
lters need to be replaced, they can be
replaced without separating the TOP and
BOT HSG (see next page)
BLK mesh lters are only mounted
in the TOP HSG for C80R models

Remove the hook by pulling upwards in a slight angle. Locate the TOP HSG pin and push it out using a pin removal tool. Pull the pin out completely using
the tweezers. Gently lift o󰀨 the TOP HSG. Start in the battery end to avoid damaging the tap in the TOP HSG

Replacing Mic Filter
FILTER,MIC,CASE,8PCS
The mic lter tool has two functions:
A removal tip to take out the used
lter, and a repl tip with a new lter
Open the lter box and take out one of the tools. Insert the removal tip into the used mic lter
and then pull the tool straight out. It is important to pull it straight and not on an angle
Insert the other end of the tool (the end with
the replacement lter) into the mic opening
Gently press the repl lter straight into
the mic opening until the outer ring is
ush with the back of the hearing aid
Pull the tool straight out – the new mic lter
should remain in place
