Allows you to use AC plugs at

1. Be sure to ACTIVATE YOUR WARRANTY at www.GOALZERO.com/warranty
2. Attach the SHERPA UI power cord to the chaining port of the SHERPA power pack.
3. Turn the SHERPA power pack on.
4. Turn the SHERPA UI to on.
5. Ensure it is on the right voltage setting and plug in your device.

How to Use Your Gear
Power switch
Push the rocker switch to the ON position to use the SHERPA UI with
2 or 3 pronged devices.
Plug
The universal outlet accepts all common Western, European, and
Asian plug types.
Voltage
A green light indicates which voltage (110 or 220) is selected.
To change the voltage flick the switch found on the back of the
SHERPA UI under the rubber stopper.
Chain
The SHERPA UI is NOT a battery. It is meant for use with the
GOAL ZERO power packs. Plug it into the chaining cable that
comes with the Sherpa power pack in order to use it.
Cooling
There’s no need to worry about your SHERPA UI over-heating.
It comes with a built-in fan to keep it cool.

Is the SHERPA UI waterproof?
No. Do not use the SHERPA UI if it is wet. If it gets wet, allow it to dry completely before using it.
What will happen if I select the wrong voltage?
You can SEVERELY damage your devices if you do not select the right voltage. Please verify the voltage requirements
of your device before trying to power it via the SHERPA UI.
Can I use the SHERPA UI with chained GOAL ZERO SHERPA power packs?
Yes, but make sure all SHERPA power packs are turned on.
Can I use the SHERPA UI as a stand-alone source of power?
No. The SHERPA UI is specifically designed to enhance the capabilities of the SHERPA power packs.
It is NOT a battery, and cannot power items on its own.
Do I have to have a SHERPA power pack to use my UI?
The SHERPA UI can be used with SHERPA power packs as well as a 12V car adapter (included).
