Howto install
Installing the drainage hose
. Insertthe drainagehose in asfar as it will go,
then
secureit tightlywith the hoseclamp.Animproperly
securedhosemayleak.
. Whileattachingthe drainagehoseto a
wash
pan,leave
a gapbetween
the endof the hoseandthe adjacent
surface.lf the flat end of the hose comes in contact
withaflatsudace,drainagewillbeaffected.
Caution: lf the drainagehoseis not installedproperly,
your washingmachinemaynot functionwell,andthe
overflow prevention mechanism may cause your
machineto stop
in
mid-cycle.
. While inserting
the drainagehoseinto a
wash
pan
or
drain
pipe,move
thehookfor easierinstallation.
. Move the hook back to its initial position before
placint it in the slot providedon the side of your
machine.
Collapsible drainage hoseextension.
. This hose is specificallydesignedfor the Automatic
rangeof washingmachinesfrom Godrej.This
special
hose
canbestretchedto increaseitslength.The
length
can be extended upto 2 mts. lont. This feature is
provided for consumer convenience,whereby he/she
canstretch the hoseupto the drainagepoint,shouldit
be far away from the machine.After completion of
operation, the hose can be collapsed back to the
original
sizeandcanbe hookedon to the machinein
anuprightposition.
Caution: Makesure the drainagehose is not too high
otherwise it may not drain properly and may cause
notse.

. Turnthe nut for the drainagehoseconnector port
anti-clockwise.
. To detach,
Dullthe internal hose from insidethe
washingmachine.
Removethe hose
holecaponthe left-hand
side,from
insidethe washing
machine.Alignthe internalhose
withthenotch
intheconnectorport andfitintoplace.
Then
put
thenutin
place
andturn clockwiseto secure
from the outside.
Insertthe stopperinto the securingholeon the left
side
of the outer shelland
press
down to securethe
internalhose.

How to install
Attaching the water supply hose to the tap
. Pullthe sleeve
down v/ith your fingersasyou lower
theentirehoseto disconnectthe
union.
. Loosenthe four screws
on the hoseunion andthen fit
the unionexactlyoverthe mouth ofthe tap.
. Tightenthe four screwsevenlyaroundthe tap.
. Removethe seal
from the unionandturn the nozzleto
tighten securely.
(lf the tap is large,square or oddly
shaped, remove the inside ring to facilitate
attachment).
. Grip the ringwith your handand
pullit down,andthen
insert the nozzle.Separatethe sleeveuntil you heara
click,andthen push
it back.
. After installation,checktoensurethatthe uniondoes
not come off while pullingdown. Next, confirm that
the union isproperly installedbyturning the water on
andchecking
for leakage.

. A secure water connection for your automatic will
help you to usetheAuto Start feature of your DAC

How to install
Connecting the water supply hose to your
washingmachine.
Turnthe hosenut clochiviseandtighten it on the end
of the water supply hose securing it to the water
intakevalve.
Tighten further by turning the water supply
hoseand
water intake yalve in the directlon of the arrow as
shown.
Hold the hose nut firmly.Turn the water supplyhose
backagainonly inthe direction ofthe arrow asshown.
Repeatsteps2and3above,and

Description:DAC Operations
The DAC capabilityof thi3machine
allowsthe washing
to becompletedevenfor
homeswith irregularwater and
power supply.
There aretwo unique
problems
facedbyhomesinIndia
that aresolvedbyDAC:
(A) No power atthetime when youwant to setthe machineto wash:
The machine is capableof Auto start after the power supply is available,
orovided:
o DAC switchhasbeen
pre-selected.
. To selectthe DAC mode,pressit once andthe LED glows.This button
onceselectedwill beretained
inthe memory.
. At anytime when power is available
you can pressthe DAC switch to
deselectthe Auto Startoption.
o Powerswitch is
pressed
to ON position.
. Once the power supplyissensed,the machine
waits
for a minuteand
then Auto Stans.
. In this mode, the machine operates in the Fuzzymode automatically
selectingthewater levelandwashcycle.
. This Auto Start ootion will not work if DAC switch was not ON
beforehand.
(B) Water fuilureduringtheWash:
o Thisfeatureisnot dependenton statusof DAC switch (ON/ OFF).
o lf there iswater failurewhile the washingprocessisON then operation is
kept on hold, and the machinehibernates (waits) for return of water for
washingto resume.
o lt records the position where it stopped at the time of water failure.
Only
TheWash or RinseLEDcontinueto blinkata low rate duringhibernation.
o Machine checks for water once every few minutes;and fully resumes
washing
afterwater supplyisverified.
o Once the water supplyresumes,the machinerestarts in sages and it may
takeupto |5minutes
for wash/rinseto resume.
o lfwater supplyrateisvery slow (e.g.morethan45 minutesfor fillingthe tub
once)then it maytakelongerfor machineto restart.
. Nowateratthestamofwashing:
o The machine operates similar to the case of water supply failure as
describedabove.
. Powerfailureduringthe wash:
o The wash status is retained in the memory iust prior to power failure.

point oncethe power supply

POWERSWITCH

. TheDAC machinecanwashunattended,anditswitchesoffautomaticallyafter
the wash is completed. The switch pops up, thus also providing a visual
indicationthat thewashingiscomplete.
SPINFREECYCLE
Theselectionofthis featuredisablesthe finaldrainandspindryingoperation.
o Thewashingisstoppedbeforethefinaldrainandspindry cycle.
o The clotheswill bewashedandwill remainfloatinginthe water inthe tub.
The
waterwillnot bedrained.
o PowerswitchwillturnOFF.
o After returning home, the final spin drying step can be carried out to
remove excessivemoisture. Spread the laundry as usual for complete
removalof moisture.
The SpinFree Cycle once selectedwill remain ON evenif power supplyto the
machineisturned OFF.lt canbe deselectedmanually.lt also
getsdeactivatedonce
the machinecompletesawashinthe Spin
Free
Mode.
o Select once when the power is there and it will be retained until the
machineencountersaspin-freeendofwash.
o YoucanselectSpinFreebeforehandif
. Youhave
to use
theAuto Startfeatureandalsoif
. The machine
will remainunattendedfor a number of hours before you
return hometo attendtofinal drying.
o The SpinFreecyclehelps

. SelectDAC mode once while power supplyisthere. Do not turn it off unless
youwant to disablethe Auto Startfeature.
. SwitchON the power supplythroughexternal switch.
. Press
the machine'sPowerSwitchON (even
while there isno power)
. Place
the drainhoseflaton the surface.
. Placelaundrywithrightquantityofdetergent
. Turnonthewatertap.
. Closethewashlid.
. Usercanpre-selectspinfree.
The machinewill start automaticallyafter power supplyis received.Thiswashing
happens in the Fuzzy Mode. After the wash, the machine will switch off
automatically.

Selecting
the correct levelwill allow clothes to move freely in water and help
you achievethe bestwashingresults.

Cleanthe lint collector after everyuse
. Removethe lint collector by pulling it out. lf it is
difficultto lift it out at the olace

has stopped, turn the basket by hand to a more

. Removethe lint by turning the lint collector inside
out.
. When the lint collector has been emptied and
cleaned,push the net back in and replace the lint
collector byinseftingit infrom aboveandpressing
it
down into place.
Caution; The net of the lint collector may

be lifted up andmaylie on top of the basket.Do not
operatethe washingmachinewith the net lying
over
the basket,
asthis maycausethe net to rip or cause
