Thank you for choosing this Goldair Hand Vacuum. This Goldair appliance has been
designed and manufactured to high standards of engineering, and with proper use and
care, as described in this manual, will provide you with years of useful service. Please
read these instructions carefully.
GENERAL CARE AND SAFETY GUIDE

base from the socket when not in use and
before cleaning.

NEVER
✘Leave vacuum cleaner when it is
turned on. Unplug the charging base from
outlet when not in use and before
servicing.
✘Never use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
✘Never use this appliance for any
purpose other than its intended use. This
appliance is for household use only.
✘This appliance is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they are supervised or
have been given instruction concerning
the use of the vacuum by a person
responsible for their safety.
✘Close supervision is necessary when
the appliance is near children.
✘Use you vacuum to pick up anything
that is burning or smoking, such as
cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
✘Pull or carry charging base by its cord,
use cord as a handle, close door on cord,
or pull cord around sharp edges or
corners. Keep cord away from heated
surfaces.
✘Unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug,
grasp the plug, not the cord.
✘Never use harsh, abrasive or caustic
cleaners to clean this appliance.
✘Never operate the charging base with a
damaged cord or plug, after it
malfunctions, or if it has been damaged in
any manner.
✘Use without dust bag and/or filter in
place.

•Check that your local mains voltage matches the voltage of the mains adaptor
provided with this appliance.
•This product includes rechargeable nickel metal hydride (Ni-MH) batteries.
Batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly. Do not incinerate batteries or
expose to high temperatures, as they may explode.
•Leaks from battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. If the liquid gets on
the skin, wash immediately with soap and water or neutralise with a mild acid such
as lemon juice or vinegar. If the liquid gets into the eyes, flush them immediately
with clean water for a minimum of ten minutes and seek medical attention.
•DO NOT attempt to change the batteries used in this product yourself. The
batteries should only be replaced by a reputable service technician.

FIXING THE WALL-MOUNTED BRACKET
•Measure the distance between the holes situated at the back of the bracket and drill
two holes in the wall at the same distance.
•Put a plug in the holes and screw the screws in the holes by letting them more or
less 4 millimetres out of the wall.
•Fix the bracket by putting the screws into the widest part of the holes situated at the
back of the bracket and slide the bracket downwards.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Charging
•The vacuum cleaner is powered by rechargeable batteries.
•Plug in the hand vacuum into the charging base via the jack that is situated at the
rear of the handle to charge. When the unit is being charged, the charging indicator
is on (which is shown by a red light). Once fully charged just take out the unit for
use anywhere.
•After use, recharge the unit as instructed above. For safety purposes only use the
charger supplied by the manufacturer.
•Before use, please charge the vacuum for at least 16 hours.
General Use
•Switch the unit on and off by pressing the on/off switch.
•Press the nozzle release button, then take out the nozzle. There is a sponge inside
the filter bracket.
•For a better vacuuming results, always start with a clean filter.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning Dust Filter and Dust Container
•Detach the dust container from the motor unit by pressing down the release button
on the bottom of nozzle (above the dust container).
•Empty the dust container.
•To clean the filter empty the dust and other debris then wash the filter in lukewarm
soapy water. After washing, rinse until the water runs clear and air dry completely
before re-inserting it in position.
•Never use the vacuum without the filter in position.
•Damaged or worn filters should be replaced for maximum efficiency.

Removing Batteries
•Batteries must only be removed if you are disposing of the unit. Do not
attempt to change the batteries yourself, this must be completed by a
qualified electrical technician.
•If you are disposing of the unit, slide out the battery door from the bottom of the
appliance and remove the batteries. To do so, cut or break the wires that are
soldered to the batteries in order to eliminate only the batteries. Please dispose of
your old batteries in an environmentally friendly way.
•Wash your hands after removing the batteries.
•Make sure that children do not come into contact with the batteries.

Your Goldair product has been inspected and tested and is guaranteed subject to the
following for a period of two years from the date of purchase against defects in
workmanship and materials. During this period, such defects will be rectified by
repair or replacement of the product purchased. Your product contains no user
serviceable components and this warranty becomes invalid if in our opinion the
product has been misused, abused, incorrectly installed, tampered with, connected
to an electrical supply not corresponding with the name plate specification, or
subjected to power surges. The warranty does not include any labour or other
associated expense that may be involved in removal or installation of the product.
Normal wear and tear is expressly excluded.
If your Goldair product fails to operate satisfactorily, please return it to the retailer
from whom it was purchased. To obtain a repair or replacement product under this
warranty, you will need to produce satisfactory evidence of date of purchase. The
completed warranty and purchase receipt must be presented with the product. The
warranty should be filled out at the time of purchase. It is in your interest to make
sure this is done.
If the product is to be replaced (cannot be repaired) then that replacement will be of
the same or similar product or accessory excluding packaging, instruction card etc.
Where a replacement product is supplied, this shall be guaranteed for the balance of
the original warranty period.
Any model that is no longer available will be replaced by a model of a value and with
such features as we consider appropriate in the circumstances. Goldair Ltd is not
responsible for freight forwarding charges, losses or damage in transit.
If service is required after the warranty period has expired, the product should be
returned to a qualified electrical technician. Service outside of the warranty period
will be at your cost.

In accordance with the above act consumers are advised that: The manufacturer
does not undertake that repair facilities and parts are necessarily available for this
product.
If any of the provisions of the foregoing are contrary to any relevant legislation, then
that provision shall be deemed to be excluded from the warranty and the rest of the
provisions will continue to apply.
