Icon Mode Temperature Range
(default) Microwave Power
(default) Description
Standard 100-235ºC in 5ºC
increments (180ºC) Not applicable
Traditional static heat from upper and
lower heating elements ensures that
the foods remain moist when cooked
for longer periods of time. Ideal for slow
baked cakes and soufflés.
Convection 100-250ºC 5ºC
increments (160ºC)
100/300/500W
(300W)
A heating element around the convection
fan provides an additional source of
heat for convection style cooking. In
convection mode the fan automatically
comes on to improve air circulation within
the oven and creates an even heat for
cooking. This mode is suitable for cakes,
pastry and to roast meat when you want
it well cooked on the outside and tender
in the middle. No pre-heating is required
when using this mode and additional
microwave cooking is also available.
Pizza 100-250ºC in 5ºC
increments (180ºC)
100/300/500W
(300W)
Ideal for pizza and dishes which need
a lot of heat from underneath. The lower
element and circular convection element
are both used and additional microwave
cooking is also available.
Fanned 100-235ºC in 5ºC
increments (160ºC) Not applicable
Combination of the fan and both heating
elements provides more even heat
penetration, saving up to 30-40% of
energy. Dishes are lightly browned on
the outside and still moist on the inside.
Ideal for grilling or roasting large pieces
of meat at a higher temperature.
Grill 100-235ºC in 5ºC
increments (150ºC) Not applicable
Only the upper heating element is
working.
Best results are achieved by using the top
shelf for smaller foods and a lower shelf
for larger foods. Ideal for rapid cooking
and browning.
Grill & Fan 100-250ºC in 5ºC
increments (180ºC)
100/300/500W
(300W)
The inner heating element and the
upper heating element are both working
together with the fan.
Best results are achieved by using the
top shelf for smaller foods and a lower
shelf for larger foods. The fan lessens
the strong heat from the upper heating
element creating more even browning and
heat distribution, without drying out foods.
Ideal for rapid cooking and browning and
additional microwave cooking is also
available.
