Donotexposethedisctodirectsunlightorheatsourcessuchashotairducts,orleaveitin acar

On handling discs:
• Tokeepthedisc clean,handlethe discbyitsedge.Donot touchthesurface.
• Donotstickpaperortapeonthedisc.
• Ifthedisc iscontaminatedwithanysubstance, likeglueremovebeforeusingit.
On cleaning:
• Beforeplaying,cleanthedisc withacleaning cloth. Wipethediscfromtheinsidetotheoutside.
• Donotusesolventssuchasbenzine,thinner,commerciallyavailable cleanersoranti-staticspray
intendedforvinylLPs.
Discs thatshouldnotbeused:
Onlythediscsincludingthemarks(see 1.7)canbeplayed.
Note,however,thatdiscs withspecialshapes(heart-shapeddiscs,hexagonal discs,etc.)cannotbe
played.Donot attempt toplaysuchdiscs,astheymaydamagetheunit..

Theremotecontrolanditsbatteriesare packedseparatelyinthe originalDVDrecorderpackaging.Youmust
installthe batteriesin theremotecontrolbeforeuse.
