3.3 Charging Mode
Depending on actual situation, the charger uses electricity from power grid, PV, or batteries to
charge electric vehicles. The output power of the charger defaults to the rated power, and users
can customize the output power according to their actual needs.
Only the PV power is used to charge the EV. Loads take priority in PV power consumption, the
remaining power will charge the EV.
When the remaining PV power is less than the minimum output power of the charger, users
can set whether to allow the charger to purchase electricity from power grid on SolarGo App
according to actual needs:
• If allowed, the charger will purchase electricity from power grid to meet the charging needs.
• If not allowed, the charger will interrupt charging until the electricity converted by PV exceeds
the minimum output power of the charger, then the charger will automatically start to
charge.
Fast
PV priority
NOTICE
• Only applies to the PV-Storage-Charge scenario composed of charger and inverter.
• When using this mode, the inverter's power limit function needs to be disabled, otherwise
the charger cannot function properly.
• If the EV does not support automatic charging, after the charger recovers from the
interrupted charging state, it is necessary to unplug and reinsert the charging plug, then
manually start charging on SolarGo App.

charging plug is IP55. With a high rating, the charger has excellent anti-dust and waterproof
features and can be operated and maintained outdoors.
• To protect the product and ensure a secure running status, the product is integrated with
over voltage and under voltage protection, over load protection, short-circuit protection,
leakage protection, grounding, over temperature protection, EMS protection and protection
against lighting.
WARNING
When using a charger in conjunction with an inverter, ensure the number of phases between
the charger and the inverter is the same. Dierent phases may lead to three-phase imbalance
of the inverter, thus result in limited charging methods of the charger or low-voltage faults.
