This fan has a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit
in a polarized outlet only one way. Match the wide blade of the
plug to the wide slot of the outlet. Insert the plug into the
outlet fully. If the plug does not fit, reverse the plug and try
again. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO
NOT attempt to bypass this safety feature.
Use this fan only as indicated in the manual.
Check the voltage indicated on the rating plate. This fan is
designed for these electric requirements. Make sure the power
source follows the electric requirements. Make sure the room
where this fan will be used has a working smoke detector.
Do not use an electric extension cord or power strip for this
fan. The use of such devices may result in electric and/or fire
hazards.
Do not put fingers or any foreign objects into the front case.

This product is not a toy and is not suitable for children.
Do not let hair, curtains, tablecloths, clothes, or any other
objects nearby block the airways of the fan or to enter the
openings of the fan. This may result in damage and/or injuries.
If the cord is damaged or tampered in any way, do not use this
product. Always be sure to check the electrical cable of this fan.
If the electric cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its aftersales service, or by a similar qualified
person in order to avoid danger.
Do not use this fan if it falls and/or becomes damaged in any
way. If the fan is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its after-sales service or by a similar qualified
person in order to avoid danger.
This fan is only for residential use. Do not use this fan outside,
or in any commercial, industrial, or agricultural setting. Do not
use this fan with any solid state speed control devices.
Do not use this fan on a window, ledge, or unstable platform.
This fan should only be used standing on its base. Never lay the
fan on its side.
Do not use this fan next to a window or anywhere where
exposure to rain or moisture is possible. This may result in an
electrical hazard.
Do not place the electrical cord under carpets, throw rugs,
runners, in areas of foot traffic, or where there is a risk of
stumbling or tripping over the cord.
Always unplug the fan when it is not in use. Make sure the fan
has been turned off before unplugging it.

Do not use this fan in an area where gasoline, paint supplies, or
any flammable liquids or explosive chemicals are being used or
stored.
Do not attempt to repair or disassemble this fan. This will void
the warranty and may result in damages and/or personal
injury. There are no end-user serviceable parts.
Remote control devices for other appliances may interfere with
this fan and vice-versa. If this happens, move the fan to
another location.
Always store the remote control inside the fan’s compartment.
This fan is not suitable for use in agricultural facilities and
hazardous locations. This fan does not meet the requirements
of NEC Article 547-7 and 500 (2002).
KEEP THIS FAN AND ALL OTHER ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES OUT
OF REACH FROM CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES.
WARNING: NEVER LEAVE CHILDREN UNSUPERVISED WITH ACCESS
TO THIS FAN. ALWAYS TURN OFF AND UNPLUG THE FAN WHEN NOT
IN USE. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISASSEMBLE OR REPAIR THIS
PRODUCT. THERE ARE NO SERVICEABLE PARTS IN THIS FAN.

Assembly Instructions
BE SURE TO CHECK CONTENTS –KEEP PACKAGING AND
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCES
NOTE: The base and removable column are separated in halves that
need to be assembled.
1. ASSEMBLE THE BASE
Find the two half-circle plastic pieces and slide
together so that they interlock.
2. ASSSEMBLE THE COLUMN
Find the two longer plastic pieces and snap
them together. If you do not want the extra

height with your fan, skip to step 4.
3. Line up the column to the body of the fan.
Hold the column upright, where the screw
holes are on top, and thread the power cord
through it. Line up the screw holes on the column
to the screw holes on the main body of the fan.
Secure with the screws provided.
4. BASE AND/OR COLUMN
IF YOU ARE not using the column for the extra height,
refer to Step 3 to attach the base onto the fan’s main body.
IF YOU ARE using the column for the extra height, hold the
Base upright, should be a smooth surface, and thread the
electric cord through the hole in the center. Line up the
screw holes on the base to the screw holes on the column.
Secure with the screws provided.
CAUTION: THIS FAN MUST ONLY BE USED IN THE UPRIGHT
POSITION ONLY. DO NOT LAY THE FAN ON ITS SIDE OR IN ANY
OTHER POSITION. IMPROPER USE MAY RESULT IN DAMAGES
AND/OR PERSONAL INJURY. DO NOT USE THIS FAN WITHOUT
ITS BASE.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Carefully remove the cable tie and unravel the electric cord
before using the fan.
2. Be sure to plug the fan into a 120V, 60Hz outlet.
DO NOT USE OUTDOORS.
This fan comes with a remote control and a control panel with
an LCD display. There are 6 functions : Power, Speed,
Oscillation, Timer+, Timer-, and Mode. The buttons on the
remote are designed to control the fan the same way as the
control panel. The LCD display has lights that will illuminate the
fan’s active functions.
REMOTE CONTROL CONTROL PANEL

FUNCTIONS
ON/OFF: Press this button to turn the fan on. When the fan is
ON, the LCD display will illuminate. Once the fan is ON, you can
program the fan with other settings. To turn the fan off, press
ON/OFF button again.
OSC: To turn on the oscillation function for the fan, press this
button. To turn off the oscillation, press the button again.
TIMER/TIMER +: This button sets the time of use before the
fan automatically turns off. This button will increase the time of
use in 1 hour increments to a maximum of 12 hours. The time
is displayed on the LCD display as 1H, 2H, 3H……
TIMER -: This button sets the time of use before the fan
automatically turns off. This button will decrease the time of
use in 1 hour decrements to a minimum of 1 hour. The time is
displayed on the LCD display as 12H, 11H, 10H......
SPEED: This button lets you choose 3 speed settings: HIGH,
MED, or LOW. Press this button until the speed you want is
shown on the LCD display.
MODE: This button lets you choose 3 airflow patterns: Sleep,
Nature, or Normal. Press this button until the airflow pattern
you want is shown on the LCD display.

Using the remote control
The remote control must be pointed towards the fan in order
for the fan to work.
Do not use this remote in a room with heavy machinery.
Do not block the line of sight between the remote control and
the receiver.
Handle the remote control with care. Do not drop or bang it
against hard objects.
This remote control operates on two AAA batteries. Be sure
that both batteries are new and replaced at the same time they
run out.
Be sure to install the batteries correctly by matching the +/-
sides to the corresponding indications on the remote control.
Before installing the batteries, be sure to clean the battery
contacts on the batteries and in the device.

Remove and dispose of dead/discharged batteries properly.
If the remote control will not be used for a long time, be sure
to remove the batteries from the compartment.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLEANING
1. Always be sure to unplug the cord from the electrical outlet
before cleaning the fan.
2. Dust may be removed by using a vacuum cleaner along the
back of the fan where the plastic grille covers the air intake.
3. Occasionally, wipe the surfaces of the fan with a damp cloth
(not dripping wet) and dry thoroughly with a soft dry cloth before
operating the fan.
4. Do not use harsh cleaners or materials to clean this unit, this
will result in damages.
CAUTION: DO NOT ALLOW WATER TO RUN INSIDE THE FAN. THIS
WILL RESULT IN A FIRE OR MAY BECOME AN ELECTRIC SHOCK
HAZARD. THE FAN MOTOR IS FACTORY LUBRICATED FOR LIFE AND
WILL NOT REQUIRE FURTHER LUBRICATION. THERE IS NO OTHER
USER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED OR RECOMMENDED. IF SERVICE IS
REQUIRED, PLEASE CONTACT GoWISE USA® FOR INSTRUCTIONS.
STORAGE
1. Clean the fan.
2. Pack the fan in original packaging to store your fan.
3. Always store in a dry place.
4. Never store it while it is still plugged in.
5. Be sure to not wrap the cord around the fan to tightly or put
any stress on the cord where it connects to the fan because it may
cause the cord to fray or break.

TROUBLESHOOTING:
If your fan is not working correctly, please follow these procedures
before contacting customer service.

workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, when used in
accordance with the instructions provided. This warranty does not
cover damages or wear resulting from accident, misuse, abuse,
commercial use, or unauthorized adjustment and/or repair.

damages. There are no express warranties except as listed above.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other
