4. Usage instructions
• Take the hot water bottle out of the cover, if applica-
ble, before use and check the bottle and stopper for
wear and damage prior to use. Next, put the hot water bottle
back in a cover before lling.
• When lling this hot water bottle, do not use boiling water and
ll to a maximum of two-thirds capacity or less. Do not overll
the hot water bottle as this might cause the bottle to burst.
• Hold the hot water bottle by the neck in an upright position
and ll slowly to avoid hot water splashing back. Do not ll
using water from the domestic hot water system as this can
considerably shorten the life of the hot water bottle.
• Expel air from the hot water bottle by lowering it carefully onto
a at surface until water appears at the opening. Screw the
stopper sufciently tight to ensure that there is no leakage
from the hot water bottle. Fingertight should be adequate.
Finally, make sure the funnel is empty. The hot water bottle
should ideally always be used with a fabric cover.
