Startup

Shutdown and Care of Unit
When the unit is not in use, turn off the water supply.

Winter Maintenance
1. Turn offand disconnect water supply and
discharge lines.
2. Pump a 50%antifreeze solutionthrough the

3. When machineis needed, connect thewater
supply and circulate the antifreeze from the
machine tocontainers for reuse. When thewater
flowing from the outlet becomes clear, reconnect
discharge lines.

SERVICING THE PUMPING SECTION
Remove the nutson the manifold studs. Grasp the
fingers on theunderside and tap
with a soft mallet to
manifold and the discharge valve seats
with three

seats andthe cylinders. Discharge valves seats:

The inlet valve surface of the pistonassembly must be
insertedfirst on thepiston rod(Photo

oriented. Reinstall cylindersbyinserting them first into
the discharge manifold and thenpositioningthe
manifoldand cylinder assemblyback on thepump.
Do
slipping the cylinders into the manifolds. Replacethe

access plate (16) byslidingplate backwards.
Remove cartridge
(5) from housing (6) by using a
19 mmsocket wrench.
2. Check inside housing to
be sure allO-rings came
out when cartridge wasremoved.
If O-ring canbe
seen inside the housing, remove it, being careful
not to damage internal threads
in housing.
3. Throw away old cartridge and install newcartridge
using a small amount of pipe sealant
on threads.
