Simple Solution for Managing
MultipleTime Zones
A common challenge facing broadcasters
today is the support of multiple time
zones, which often requires extra
equipment, manual set-up, and
monitoring. The ideal solution is an
automated application that can be set up
once and will run unattended 24/7, day
after day.
Our K2 TimeDelay software is just that
application. Once set up on a K2 system,
it will run without intervention around
the clock. It is simple to setup, simple to
monitor, and easy to adjust if required.
The application runs within the K2
AppCenter user interface. Rather than
relying on a separate application, this
tightly integrated approach makes the
TimeDelay application easy to use and
minimizes any additional training in
learning new software.
AutomaticTime Shifting of
Programs
The TimeDelay application provides a
simple way to delay a feed to one, two,
or three different time zones. Or you
can delay two feeds each to the same or
different time zones.
With a basic display that shows your
status at a glance, the application also
has an auto-start feature that enables
your record channel to automatically start
at a given time, as well as a channel-
delay feature where you can type in the
delay for each channel.

storage media client.
Requires one copy for each K2 record
channel that will be controlled by the K2
TimeDelay application.
Free Trial
A fully functional version is available
for a 30-day free trial at http://www.
grassvalley.com/products/servers/k2.
After 30 days, it will be disabled until a
purchased license is obtained.
Working with theTimeDelay application is as simple as typing in the
delay for each channel.
