1. Checks to the Area

3. General work Area
All aintenance staff and thers wrinin the lcal area shall be instructed n the nature f
wrbeincarried ut. Wrin cnfined saces shall be avided. The area arund the
wrsace shall be sectined ff. Ensure that the cnditins within the area have been ade safe
by cntrlf flaable aterial.
4. Checking forpresence of refrigerant
The area shall be checed with an arriate refrierant detectrrir tand durinwr, t
ensure the technician is aware ftentially flaable atsheres. Ensure that the lea
detectin equient beinused is suitable fr use with flaable refrierants, i.e. nn-sarin,
adequately sealed r intrinsically safe.
5. Presence of fire extinguisher
If any ht wris tbe cnducted n the refrieratin equient r any assciated arts
arriate fire extinuishinequient shall be available thand. Have a dry wder r CO2
fire extinuisher adjacent tthe charinarea.
6. No ignition sources

7. Ventilated area
Ensure that the area is in the en r that it is adequately ventilated befre breainintthe

the wris carried ut. The ventilatin shuld safely diserse any released refrierant and
referable exel it externally intthe atshere.
8. Checks to the refrigeration equipment
Where electrical cnents are beinchaned, they shall be fit fr the urse and tthe
crrect secificatin. At all ties the anufacturer’s aintenance and service uidelines shall be
fllwed. If in dubt cnsult the anufacturer’s technical deartent fr assistance. The
fllwinchecs shall be alied tinstallatins usinflaable refrierants.
The chare size is in accrdance with the r size within which the refrierant cntainin arts
are installed;
The ventilatinachinery and utlets are eratinadequately and are ntbstructed;
If an indirect refrieratincircuit is beinused, the secndary circuit shall be checed fr the
resence f refrierant;

9. Checks to electrical devices
Reair and aintenance telectrical cnents shall include initial safety checs and
cnent insectinrcedures if a fault exists that culd crise safety, then n
electrical suly shall be cnnected tthe circuit until it is satisfactrily dealt with. If the fault
cannt be crrected ediately but it is necessary tcntinue eratin, an adequate
terary slutin shall be used. This shall be rerted tthe wner f the equient sall

Check the dehumidifier for any transport damage. In case of damage, you should contact with
seller immediately.
Make sure that the dehumidifier is standing firmly on a flat surface
Minim 50 cm
.
Make sure that the mains lead is easily accessible and is not
damaged by sharp edges or is crushed in any way during use.
If any part of your house suffers from severe humidity, the
dehumidifier can be placed there first and then moved to
another part of the house later.
Ensure the dehumidifier is at a safe distance at least 50cm
of air space on all sides.
Never place the dehumidifier next to a radiator or heating
appliance.
