1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 Contents
This manual contains a description of the technical characteristics and functioning of
the ELECTRIC TOMATO MACHINE art. SP3EL, SP3ELI, SP5EL and SP5ELI, and
instructions for installation, use and maintenance.
The manufacturer reserves all intellectual and editorial rights relating to the technical
publication, claiming all the properties, prohibiting the duplication and transfer to third
parties without written consent.
This instruction manual uses the following symbols.
Pay the utmost attention to the instructions accompanied by this symbol
as indicated.
Indications and useful tips for manipulation, mounting and installation,

1.3 Responsibility
The guarantee of proper operation of the machine at the intended service depends
on the correct application of all the instructions contained in the manual.
Before operating the machine it is obligatory to read what is specified in
the manual
With reference to what is described in this instruction manual, GRIFO Macchine
Enologiche S.n.c. declines every responsibility in the case of:
not having observed the instructions for installation, use and maintenance in
the manual;
inadequacy of the installation and environmental conditions in which the
machine operates;
non authorized modifications to the machine;
use by unauthorized or untrained personnel.
The only configurations and intended use allowed by the manufacturer
are those indicated in the manual.
1.4 Manual update
The manual is an integral part of the ELECTRIC TOMATO MACHINE art. SP3EL,
SP3ELI, SP5EL and SP5ELI.
Any additions to the manual, which the manufacturer will send to users, must be kept
together with the manual and will be part of it.

1.5 warranty
The warranty is valid for 24 months starting from the delivery date of the machine,
and gives the right to repair and replace the defective parts.
Any breakages or other anomalies must be communicated within 8 days of receipt of
the goods.
The purchaser will only have the right to request the repair or replacement of the
goods, with the exclusion of compensation for any damage.
The repair or replacement of defective materials will take place at the GRIFO snc
factory or at an authorized service center, where the returned materials must be
shipped carriage free.
GRIFO snc, or the authorized service center, will arrange to return them in the
assigned port.
To ensure smooth operation, GRIFO snc or the authorized service center can repair
or replace defective parts.
Defective parts can be replaced with new parts or returned in perfect working order.
The replaced parts become the property of GRIFO snc or the authorized service
center.
The warranty expires in the event that a fault is caused by improper use, external
causes or mechanical damage caused by accidents. Ends in case of adaptation,
modification or addition of material of other brands, not authorized by the company
GRIFO snc.
Repaired or replaced parts are covered only if the warranty is still valid.

2. GENERAL INFORMATION ON THE MACHINE
2.1 Intended use
The GRIFO tomato squeezer is a machine for squeezing tomatoes by means of an
auger. It is intended for home use.
Any changes in the conditions of use of the machine, both in terms of
performed operations and of processed materials, must be considered as
a new commissioning pursuant to the Machinery Directive 2006/42 / EC
and relieve the manufacturer of any responsibility.
2.2 Reference legislation
The ELECTRIC TOMATO SAW, Mod. SP3EL, SP3ELI, SP5EL, SP5ELI has been
designed and built in compliance with the provisions of the European Directives
2006/42 CE (Machines), 2006/95 / CE (Low Voltage), 2004/108 / CE (
Electromagnetic compatibility) and in compliance with the EN 953, EN 13850, EN
60204-1 standards.

3. SAFETY AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION
3.1 General informations
Do not leave the packaging elements (box, etc. ...) within the reach of children,
as they are potential sources of danger.
Before connecting the appliance, check that the data on the identification plate
are the same as those on the mains and that the socket used is suitable.
To use the tomato squeezer safely, the following rules must be followed:
-do not use the appliance barefoot
-do not leave the appliance exposed to atmospheric agents (rain, sun, etc. ..);
-unplug the appliance when not in use (do not leave the appliance
unnecessarily inserted);
