This convenient mount enables you to use your smartphone in the
car. It creates a stable platform for hands-free use at eye level.

About these instructions
Read these instructions carefully and please observe and heed all references made in these
instructions to guarantee a long life and reliable use of the device. Please keep these instructions at
hand and pass them on to other users of the device.
Intended use
This Grixx magnetic car mount securely holds a smartphone to your car air vent. Make sure that your
smartphone is securely fastened to the mount before you begin your trip.
Caution: This mount is not intended for extreme off -road use; excessive bumping and jarring may
result in damage to your device.
This product is not intended for commercial use or for medical and special applications, where the
failure of the product can cause injuries, mortalities or considerable material damages.
Claims of any kind due to damages from improper use or non-observance of safety instructions are
excluded.
Important Safety Warnings
Choking Hazard - Warning
This product may contain small parts which may be a choking hazard to children under 3; keep small
parts away from children.
•Road Hazard –Warning
Risk of severe injury or death; this product requires in-car installation. Do not attempt to install or set
up this equipment while your vehicle is moving.
Do not install this equipment in a way that it will obstruct the view of the driver. Some jurisdictions
have restrictions regarding the installation of after-market accessories; consult and obey the local
laws and regulations.
•Grixx is not responsible for any damages caused to your car, your device, or yourself due to the
installation or use of the mounts.
•Grixx does not assume any responsibility for any fines, penalties, or damages that may be
incurred as a result of any state or local law or ordinance relating to the use of your device.

Attaching to the air fan
•Place the round car mount with the clip on the back into the air fan.
•Make sure both hooks of the clip are firmly attached to the fan.
Caution: Do not adjust the car mount while driving.
How to use
•Option 1 –Between smartphone case and smartphone - Use the rectangular metal plate
oTake the smartphone out of its protective cover.
oPlace the metal plate on the back of the smartphone.
oPut back in the cover.
•Option 2 –Directly on the back of smartphone –Use the round metal plate with adhesive sticker
oPeel off the adhesive protection layer.
oPosition the metal plate in the centre of the back of the smartphone.
oGently rub the metal plate into position, so that it is fixed firmly.
Placing a smartphone in the holder
•Simply bring or position the smartphone close to the plate of the car mount.
•Make sure the back of the smartphone is directed towards the car mount.
For safety reasons it is advised to avoid upside-down placement of the smartphone.
Removing a smartphone from the holder
•Just grab the smartphone, and without force it can be removed.
For safety reasons it is advised not do to this while driving.

•The magnetic in-fan car mount attaches to the air fan found in most vehicles.
•Check the state and local laws and ordinances where you drive.
It is the user’s responsibility to mount the device in compliance with all applicable laws and
ordinances.
•Do not install this or any product over an air bag cover or within the air bag zone.
Grixx assumes no responsibility of liability for injury or death as a result of car crashes and/or air bag
deployment.
•This product is designed for mobile phones only.
It may not accommodate the weight of a GPS or other device. Maximum weight of your device
should not exceed 0.8 kg.
General instructions
Failure to follow the safety instruct ion s can lead to dangerous situations or personal in jury.
Make sure to read the entire manual.
•Do not use this unit for anything other than its intended use.
•Do not use the product if it has been dropped or damaged in any way.
•Keep the unit out of reach of children.
•Do not disassemble the device into its component parts and do not try to repair it yourself. It
does not contain any parts requiring maintenance and the guarantee expires in this case.
•Do not use the device when it shows visible damage or has become moist.

The firmware and/or hardware may be changed at any time without prior notice. For this reason it is
possible that parts of these instructions, technical data and images in this documentation differ
slightly from the product in your possession. All points described in these instructions only serve the
purpose of clarification and must not inevitably correspond to a certain situation. Legal claims cannot

All unnecessary packaging has been omitted. We have tried to make the packaging easy to separate
into two materials: cardboard and plastic. The whole product packaging consists of materials which
can be recycled and reused if disassembled by a specialized company. Please observe the local
regulations regarding the disposal of packaging materials and old equipment.
This symbol on packaging signifies that the producer has made a financial contribution towards the
recovery and recycling of packaging.

Your product is designed and manufactured with high quality materials and components, which can

of Very High Concern) and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of
Chemicals) regulated by the European Union.

means that this product is designed and produced in a community that adheres to ethical
