1. Turn on air supply and adjust to desired pressure.
2. Turn light on.
3. Place left hand in glove. If hand is slightly moist, dust it
lightly with talcum powder and it will slip into glove.
4. pen side door and place work into gloved hand. Close
door and secure latch.
5. Squeeze trigger on air gun and hold piece in stream of
blast.
6. Short blasts (30 per minute) are more effective than a long
continuous blast.
Note: Progress can be monitored through large viewing window.
When refinishing metal surfaces, various effects can be achieved by varying the
air pressure and the distance of the work from the nozzle assembly. Lacquer
can be used to mask any area you do not wish to blast.
With use, the glass beads become contaminated with investment
or other impurities and lose effectiveness. Beads should be
replaced occasionally.
If nozzle becomes clogged with a large particle, it can be cleared
by holding gloved thumb and forefinger over nozzle in a “ V”
shape and giving a few short blasts. This will reverse the airstream
and force it into the lower nozzle, clearing tube.
