Designed to blast a stream of micro-sized glass
beads. Removes stubborn investment particles from
castings as well as oxides and heat scale.
Can also be used to put
a decorative satin finish on metal.

1. Connect air hose to air gun.
2. Connect other end of air hose to air compressor. Note air
compressor must be capable of producing 30 to 60 PSI.
3. Mix solution of soap and water and paint all joints with
solution. Charge line with air pressure. If bubbles appear,
leaks are present. Tighten all loose joints to eliminate leaks.
If tightening does not stop leaks, turn off air supply, take
joint apart and wrap threads with Teflon plumbers tape or
use joint compound. Both are available from a local hard-
ware store. Check again for leaks.
4. Put light bulb (not included) in socket inside cabinet and
plug line cord into outlet.
5. Pour 5 lbs. of glass beads into cabinet.
6. Unit is ready to use.

1. Turn on air supply and adjust to desired pressure.
2. Turn light on.
3. Place left hand in glove. If hand is slightly moist, dust it
lightly with talcum powder and it will slip into glove.
4. pen side door and place work into gloved hand. Close
door and secure latch.
5. Squeeze trigger on air gun and hold piece in stream of
blast.
6. Short blasts (30 per minute) are more effective than a long
continuous blast.
Note: Progress can be monitored through large viewing window.
When refinishing metal surfaces, various effects can be achieved by varying the
air pressure and the distance of the work from the nozzle assembly. Lacquer
can be used to mask any area you do not wish to blast.
With use, the glass beads become contaminated with investment
or other impurities and lose effectiveness. Beads should be
replaced occasionally.
If nozzle becomes clogged with a large particle, it can be cleared
by holding gloved thumb and forefinger over nozzle in a “ V”
shape and giving a few short blasts. This will reverse the airstream
and force it into the lower nozzle, clearing tube.
