un problème à l’une ou l’autre des étapes ? Mon produit est-il
couvert par la garantie ?
•Les contrôleurs Grozone Control sont couverts par une garantie de 3

•Couvert ou non couvert ? ous n’autorisons pas le remplacement de
produits entièrement fonctionnels ou modifiés. Les étapes de
dépannage vous aident à identifier un produit endommagé.
’hésitez pas à joindre votre détaillant, ou notre support technique,
afin de vous assurer que le produit est bel et bien endommagé ou
encore non fonctionnel avant de le retourner au magasin.
•Mon produit est bien endommagé, je désire une unité de
remplacement: pour obtenir votre unité de remplacement, vous
DEVEZ retourner le produit et ses accessoires au magasin. Afin
d’éviter d’être facturé pour les accessoires manquants, assurez-vous
de rapporter toutes les pièces et tous les modules au magasin.

•Tout produit Grozone retourné après avoir été altéré, modifié ou
encore démontrant des signes évidents d’abus ou de négligence ne
sera pas couvert par la garantie, et il en revient à Grozone de
prendre toutes décisions finales à cet égard.
(*) La période de garantie débute à la date d’achat en magasin. Le
consommateur/ détaillant est tenu de conserver les preuves d’achat/ ventes
pour chaque produit. Sinon, Grozone appliquera le début de garantie au
moment de la date de fabrication du produit.

To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect power to the 120V
electrical outlet before installing or removing the unit. When removing
the electrical wall plate, it may fall across plug pins or become
displaced.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this product has a grounding type
plug that has a third (grounding) pin. This plug will only fit into a
grounding type power outlet. If the plug does not fit into the outlet,
contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not
change the plug in any way.

INSTALLATION & OPERATION
Set speed
In LOW position, this dimmer will EVER turn your fan OFF and
will keep your fan running at Idle speed (also called minimum
speed), which represents about 10% of full power.
Plug into 120 VAC outlet (see security notice on page 1).
Connect the fan into the front panel outlet (MAX 750W, 6.2A).
Installation is now complete

OPTIONAL SETTINGS/KI K START
User can enable/disable a «kick start» (*) of 2 seconds that will occur
whenever power is applied for the first time or returning from a power
failure.
We recommend to enable the «kick start» if you set your dimmer at
very slow speed (close to LOW setting). Defaut factory setting is «kick
start» activated.
(*) full power applied during a short period of time to improve fan start-up.
How to enable/disable the «kick start»?
Unplug and plug dimmer back to see (or hear) the effect of «kick start»
if enabled.
•
Unplug the
dimmer and set
knob to HIGH.
•
Plug the dimmer in
AC outlet, turn
knob to LOW and
back to HIGH
within 3 seconds.

2 – Le test

RÉGLAGES OPTIONNELS/ OUP DE DÉPART
L’utilisateur peut activer / désactiver un «coup de départ»(*) de 2
secondes qui se produira à chaque fois que l’alimentation est appliquée
ou lorsqu’elle revient suite à une panne de courant.
ous recommandons d’activer le «coup de départ» si votre variateur
est ajusté à très basse vitesse (près du LOW). L’ajustement en usine par
défaut est «coup de départ activé».
(*) puissance maximale appliquée durant une courte période afin de faciliter le
démarrage du ventilateur.
omment activer ou désactiver le «coup de départ»?
Débranchez et rebranchez à nouveau pour voir (ou entendre) l’effet du
«coup de départ», si activé.

En position LOW, ce variateur n’arrêtera jamais votre ventilateur
en le maintenant à une vitesse minimale qui représente
approximativement 10% de la puissance maximale.
Branchez dans une prise 120VAC (voir notice de sécurité à la page 1).
Branchez votre ventilateur dans la prise du contrôleur (MAX 750W,
6.2A).

Pour réduire le risque de chocs électriques, coupez le courant de la
prise de courant avant d'installer ou d'enlever l'unité. En enlevant la vis
retenant le couvercle de la prise 120V, celui-ci peut tomber sur les
fiches et les court-circuiter, ou encore la prise pourrait se déplacer.
Pour réduire le risque de chocs électriques, ce produit possède une
fiche dont la troisième broche sert à la mise à la terre. Cette fiche ne se
connecte uniquement que dans les prises possédant une mise à la
terre. Si votre prise ne possède pas cette mise à la terre, contactez un
électricien qualifié pour l'installation d'une prise appropriée. e
modifiez pas la fiche du produit.

2. I’ve been through the troubleshooting steps, what do I do if I meet
a problem at any of these steps? Is my product covered by the
WARRANTY?
•Grozone controllers are covered by a 3-year warranty (*). We will
replace any DAMAGED PRODUCT WITH A BRA D EW PRODUCT.
•Covered or not covered? We do not authorize the replacement of
fully working products nor altered (tampered) products. The
Troubleshooting steps will help you identify a damaged product. Do
not hesitate to contact us or contact your retailer to make sure the
controller is not fully working or damaged before returning it to the
store.
•My product is not fully working or damaged, I want a replacement
unit: in order to get a replacement product, you MUST return all
modules and applicable accessories to the retailer. To avoid being
charged for the accessories, be sure to include all pieces. Thanks for
your cooperation.
•Any Grozone Control product that is returned with obvious signs of
user neglect will not be covered by the warranty. Grozone Control
exercises the right to make final decisions in these matters.
(*) The warranty period begins from the date of purchase at the retail level.
The retailer/consumer must keep their proof of sale/purchase. Otherwise,
Grozone Control will consider the manufacturing date to apply the warranty
coverage.
IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO RETAILER
The retailer must call Grozone Control to get authorisation to replace
the defective product and a RMA number.
