The Service Manual CUC 1828 applies to the colour television receiv-
ers specified on the front page. This Manual describes the differences
and the additionally fitted modules of the TV receivers.
The Module List and the relevant part numbers are listed in the table
on page 4.
Basic instructions for servicing are given in the:
– Service Manual CUC 1828 (Part No. 72010 021 1000)
– 2nd Supplement CUC 1806 / CUC 1829 / CUC 1830 /
CUC 1929 (Part No. 72010 021 1200)
– 3rd Supplement CUC 1929 (Part No. 72010 021 1300)

Due to the conversion of the EDP system, the previous 10-digit part
numbers were change to 12-digit numbers.
Example: previous: 29504-111.22
new: 29504 111 2200
During the conversion of the system, either form may be found in
the Service Manual.
Spare Parts Lists
The set off four figures in the designation of the spare parts refer
to the four figures at the end of the part numbers of the chassis or
modules.

neu: 29504 111 2200
Während der Umstellphase können im Service Manual beide
Schreibweisen vorkommen.
Ersatzteillisten
Die vierstelligen, von der Ersatzteilbezeichnung abgesetzten Zahlen
beziehen sich auf die letzten vier Stellen der Sachnummern der
Chassis oder der Bausteine.

Modulübersicht / Module List
* Servicehinweis zu den Signalbausteinen:
Bei Geräten mit CUC 1836 / 1929 können je nach Softwarestand zwei
verschiedene Signalbausteine eingebaut sein (siehe Tabelle unten).
Softwarestandabfrage: Mit Taste
"6" das Menü "DIALOG CENTER"
–> OK aufrufen; Taste "AUX";
Softwarestand erscheint. Bei Ge-
räten mit neuem Softwarestand
muß im Servicemenü "Für den
Fachhandel" im Menüpunkt "IF/ZF
29504 xxx xx00" mit den Tasten 4 3
der eingebaute Signalbaustein an-
gewählt werden. Bei älterem
Softwarestand ist nur der Einbau
derBausteine mitEndnummer 3400
möglich.
* Service Note to the Signal Modules:
Television receivers with CUC 1836 / 1929 can be fitted with two different
Signal Modules dependent on the software version (see table below).
Calling up the softwareversion:
Press button "6" to call up the
"DIALOG CENTER" menu –> OK;
press button "AUX" ; the software
version will be indicated. For models
with new software status, the built in
Signal Module must be selected in
the Service Menu "for authorised
dealer", menu item "IF/ZF 29504 xxx
xx00" using the buttons 4 3. Models
with an earlier software version can
be fitted only with a Signal Module
with number 3400 at the end.
