Restoring All Factory Default Settings
IMPORTANT NOTICE
This should only be carried out when you want to completely default the
control panel back to its original default state as ALL programming of
the system will be lost!
Disconnect the mains PSU from the control panel PCB by unplugging the
lead that comes from the mains PSU.
Disconnect the battery pack from the i10-70 panel PCB by unplugging
the battery from the battery terminal.
Remove the “Panel Default” link from the i10-70 panel PCB.
Wait 10 s then reconnect the mains PSU and the battery pack.
The i10-70 Panel will start up with the Blue LED flashing (if tamper is
open) - this indicates the configuration has been defaulted and the panel
is waiting to detect a LCD Keypad.
Replace the “Panel Default” link.
* After restoring factory default settings the following default codes
exist on the system.
4-digit codes 6666
1111 Default installer code
Default user 1 code
Enrolling the initial Keypad
Enrolling the initial Keypad on GSDi Panel
1. Open the panel tamper by removing the panel lid if not already open. The
blue LED will flash to indicate it is waiting to enrol a keypad.
2. Connect a wired keypad on the A, B, -, 12v terminals. see keypad wiring for
details.
3. The keypad will start searching for a Panel.
4. The Keypad will display connected once it is enrolled onto the panel.
5. Additional keypads may be enrolled from the installer menu.
Note: If all keypads are removed from the system, a new keypad may be
enrolled onto the panel by following the above procedure at any time.
Enrolling a second keypad
Enrolling the Keypad on GSDi Panel
1. Using the keypad on the GSDi Panel start the enrol process: In the installer
menu navigate to Keypads - Add keypad Wizard - Enrol Wired Keypad and
press OK.
2. The keypad will then enrol on the panel after a few seconds. The panel will
indicate that it has enrolled with a message Wired keypad enrolled on the
display.
3. Follow the on screen instructions to test the Tamper.
4. Follow the on screen instruction to rename the keypad or assign it to a
specific area if desired.
