Introduction
Overview
Based on yearsofVoIPmanufacturing experiences, GULFSIPCommunicationsServicesprovide a

Cost-effective, easy-to-install and simple-to-use, the GULFSIP G1S,G157 landlineconverter VoIP
Phone Adapters(“ATA”inthe following term)convertsstandardtelephonestoIP-based networks.
GULFSIP,the serviceproviderwhichofferuserstraditionaland enhanced telephonycommunication
servicesviathe existing broadband connection tothe Internet orcorporation network.
Withthe G-157 Land LineConverter, homeusersand companiesareabletosavethe installation
cost and extend theirpast investmentsintelephones, conferenceand speakerphones. The G-157
Land Line Converter can be the bridge between traditionalanalog systemsand IPnetworkwithan
extremelyaffordableinvestment.
The ATAincludestwoalternativelyEthernetinterfaceforInternet(PPPoE,DHCPorFixed IP), oroffice
LANconnection,whichwillhelpininstallation ofthe deviceat anynetworking invironment.

HowtoinsurethatyourinternetrouterdoesnotprovideanIPaddress?
-Connect anetwork cablebetween the LANport and the Internet routerLANPort.
-Pleasepick up thehandset ofthe phone whichconnected toourdeviceinthe phone port,and dial
#126#, if you hearan IPaddress fromthe samerange whichyourinternetrouterprovide, forexample
192.168.x.x, soyourRouterworking on DHCPServermode.
Butifyou hear 0.0.0.0, or 169.254.x.x, soyourinternet routerdoesnot provide IPaddress, and you
need toset astaticIPmanually.
TosetaStaticIP, pleaseexecutethefollowing Steps:
-Connect anetwork Cablebetween yourPCand the PCportinourdevice G-157 Land Line
Converter, asshowninthe Figureabove.
You must be surethatyourPCisworking on the DHCPClientmode, toensurethat pleasedo the
following steps:
“Start ”=> “ControlPanel”=> "Network Connections"

parametersintoFlashROMand letit takeeffectiveforever, pleaseremembertopress the Save &
Reboot buttonafteryou modifythe parameters.
Please consult your ISP personnel toobtain proper PPPoE/IP
address related information, and input carefully.
If Internet connection cannot beestablished, please check
the physical connection or contact the ISPservice staff
for support information.
