 Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig, dass das Gerät ni ht
bes hädigt ist. Bei Bes hädigung der
Ans hlussleitung oder des Gerätes, letzteres
ni ht benutzen, sondern von einem Elektro-
Fa hmann(*) überprüfen bzw. reparieren lassen.
Eine bes hädigte Ans hlussleitung muss von
einem Elektrofa hmann(*) ausgewe hselt
werden, damit jede Gefahr gemieden wird.
 Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur zu
Haushaltszwe ken, wie in der
Bedienungsanleitung angegeben.
 Tau hen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder
andere Flüssigkeiten, weder zum Reinigen, no h
zu einem anderen Zwe k. Geben Sie das Gerät
niemals in die Spülmas hine. Sonst kann das
Gerät bes hädigt werden.
 Benutzen Sie das Gerät ni ht in der Nähe einer
Wärmequelle.
 Lassen Sie den Wasserko her abkühlen und
ziehen Sie den Ste ker aus der Ste kdose bevor
Sie das Gerät reinigen oder aufräumen, um

kni ken Sie sie ni ht.
 Stellen Sie das Gerät bzw. den So kel auf eine
stabile, ebene Flä he.
 Ist Ihr Modell mit einem separaten So kel oder
einer abtrennbaren Ans hlussleitung
ausgestattet, so entfernen Sie diese Teile bevor
Sie den Wasserko her mit Wasser füllen. Ist Ihr
Wasserko her mit einer festen Ans hlussleitung
ausgestattet, ziehen Sie dann erst den Ste ker
aus der Ste kdose, bevor Sie den Wasserko her
füllen.
 A hten Sie darauf, dass der Wasserko her unter
der Maximummarkierung gefüllt wird. Überprüfen
Sie stets ob der Wasserstand die
Maximummarkierung ni ht übers hreitet. Wenn
Sie zu viel Wasser einfüllen, kann der
Wasserko her überko hen und ko hendes
Wasser kann herausspritzen.
 Bei Gebrau h des Gerätes sollte der De kel
sa hgemäß ges hlossen sein. Öffnen Sie erst
dann den De kel, wenn si h der Wasserko her
selbst abges haltet hat.



ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME
Vor der ersten Benutzung, oder nach dem Entkalken des Wasserkochers, kochen Sie bitte
frisches Wasser auf und gießen Sie das aufgekochte Wasser weg. Wiederholen Sie das Ganze 3
mal. Anschließend spülen Sie bitte den Wasserkocher kalt aus.



INBETRIEBNAHME
 Entfernen Sie immer den Wasserkocher von dem Sockel, bevor Sie ihn mit Wasser füllen.
 Öffnen Sie den Deckel, indem Sie den Entriegelungsknopf drücken, und füllen Sie den
Behälter mit kaltem Wasser. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Wasserkocher zwischen der
Maximum- und Minimummarkierung, die auf dem Wassertank zu sehen sind, gefüllt wird.
 Schließen Sie den Deckel, indem Sie ihn nach unten drücken, bis Sie einen Klick hören.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass er richtig geschlossen ist.
 Platzieren Sie das Gerät auf dem Sockel und stecken den Stecker in die Steckdose.
Betätigen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter. Ist keine Anzeige auf dem LED-Display erkennbar,
platzieren Sie den Wasserkocher erneut auf dem Sockel oder überprüfen Sie ob er richtig
auf dem Sockel steht.
 Nach dem Betätigen des Ein-/Ausschalters werden die Anzeige "100°C", die Ein/Aus-
Anzeige und das LED-Licht aufleuchten. Das Wasser wird erwärmt auf 100°C. Öffnen Sie
den Deckel nicht, während das Wasser kochend heiß ist.
 Der Wasserkocher schaltet sich automatisch ab, sobald das Wasser kocht, und ein
Tonsignal ertönt. Sie können ihn jederzeit ausschalten, indem Sie den Ein/Aus-Schalter
erneut betätigen.
 Wenn Sie Wasser ein zweites Mal kochen wollen, nachdem der Wasserkocher automatisch
ausgeschaltet ist, lassen Sie zuerst das Wasser abkühlen. Danach schalten Sie das Gerät
wieder ein.
 Das Gerät geht in den Schlafmodus über, falls der Wasserkocher vom Sockel entfernt wird
oder falls nichts passiert während 3 Minuten. Stellen Sie den Wasserkocher auf den Sockel
zurück und betätigen Sie eine Taste um das Gerät in den Bereitschaftsmodus zu stellen.
 Das Gerät geht ebenfalls in den Schlafmodus über, falls Sie die Ein/Aus-Taste 2 Sekunden
gedrückt halten.
 Sie können eine Wassertemperatur wählen, indem Sie eine der Temperatur-
Einstellungstasten (60°C, 80°C, 90°C oder 100°C) betätigen, bevor Sie die Ein/Aus-Taste
drücken. Ein Tonsignal ertönt, wenn die gewählte Wassertemperatur erreicht wird, das
Gerät hört auf und geht in den Warmhaltemodus über für 30 Minuten.
 Hinweis: Die Warmhaltefunktion funktioniert nur bei 60°C, 80°C, 90°C und nicht bei 100°C.
 Sie können den Warmhaltemodus ausschalten, indem Sie die Ein/Aus-Taste oder die
Warmhaltetaste betätigen.
Empfehlungen zum Teekochen
Es gibt viele verschiedene Teesorten, und jede von ihnen hat seinen eigenen Geschmack und
optimale Wassertemperatur und Ziehzeit. Die empfohlene Temperatur- und Ziehzeit finden Sie
in der Tabelle:

 Der Wasserkocher ist mit einem Trockengehschutz ausgestattet, der das Gerät abschaltet,
wenn es versehentlich ohne Wasser eingeschaltet wurde.
 Falls dies vorkommt, ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose. Warten Sie ca. 10 Minuten
und gießen Sie kaltes Wasser in den Wasserkocher. Dies reicht, um den Trockengehschutz
auszuschalten. Der Wasserkocher wird danach wieder normal funktionieren.
 Sollte das Problem weiterhin bestehen, wenden Sie sich an den nächsten Kundendienst.
REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
 Vor der Reinigung immer den Netzstecker ziehen und das Gerät abkühlen lassen.
 Verwenden Sie ein feuchtes Tuch zum Reinigen. Ablagerungen an den Innenwänden
können mit einer weichen Bürste entfernt werden. Verwenden Sie niemals scharfe oder
scheuernde Reinigungsmittel.
 Den Wasserkocher niemals in Flüssigkeiten tauchen oder unter fließendem Wasser
reinigen.
FILTER
 Ihr Gerät ist mit einem Filter ausgerüstet. Überprüfen Sie daher den korrekten Gebrauch
des Filters.
 Es ist notwendig, den Filter regelmäßig zu reinigen.
ENTKALKEN
Sollten Verkalkungen auftreten, verwenden Sie zur Beseitigung handelsübliche
Entkalkungsmittel.

BEFORE THE FIRST OPERATION
For the perfect taste, operate the jug kettle with fresh water in order to clean any residue left
from the manufacturing process. When the appliance has cooled down, repeat the process 3
times with fresh water, before rinsing.

 Always remove the jug from the power base before filling it or before any operation.
 Open the lid by pressing the lid release button and fill the jug with fresh water, paying
attention not to fill under the minimum mark and above the maximum mark on the water
level indicator.
 Close the lid by pressing it down until you hear a click. Make sure it closes correctly.
 Put the jug onto the power base, plug into the wall socket and switch on by pressing the
ON/OFF button. If it does not come on, check if the kettle is correctly positioned on the base
and check if the base is plugged in.
 After pressing the ON/OFF button, the "100°C" indicator, the on/off indicator and the light
bar are illuminated and the water will boil to 100°C. DO NOT open the lid while the water is
boiling.
 The jug kettle will switch off automatically when the water is boiling and a beep will sound.
However, you can stop the appliance any time by pressing the ON/OFF button again.
 For instant reboiling, wait until the water has cooled down and switch on the appliance
again.
 The appliance will enter into sleep mode if the kettle is removed from the base or if no
action is undertaken within 3 minutes. Replace the kettle on the base and press any
button to put the appliance in standby mode.
 The appliance will enter into sleep mode as well if you hold the ON/OFF button pressed for
2 seconds.
 You can select a preset temperature by pressing one of the temperature buttons (60°C,
80°C, 90°C or 100°C) before you press the ON/OFF button. One beep will sound when the
preset temperature is reached, the kettle will stop heating and enter into the keep-warm
mode for 30 minutes.
 Note: Keep warm function only works for 60°C, 80°C and 90 °C, not 100 °C.
 You can switch off the keep-warm mode by pressing the ON/OFF button or the keep
warm button.
Preparing tea recommendation
There are many kinds of tea leaves and each of them has its own taste and optimal water
temperature and steeping time. The recommended temperature and steeping time you can
find in below table:

SAFETY CUT-OUT
 This jug kettle is protected with an automatic safety device which switches the appliance
off when it is accidentally switched on without water. Please bear in mind that only the
thermostat is switched off in case of overheat, whereas the switch stays in ON-position.
 In this case, unplug the appliance and wait about 10 minutes for the element to cool.
Then pour in sufficient cold water to cover the element.
 The kettle may then be used as normal.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
 Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure the appliance is unplugged from
the supply socket and fully cooled down.
 To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
To remove scale from the inner walls of the kettle you can use a soft brush.
 Never use abrasive products.
 On no account must the jug kettle or its power base be immersed in water.
FILTER
 Your appliance is provided with a filter. When you want to boil water, settle the filter first.
 The filter should be rinsed clean regularly.
DESCALING
To remove scale from the jug kettle, use products made especially available for this purpose.

AVANT LA PREMIERE UTILISATION
Il est nécessaire de rincer votre bouilloire avant sa première utilisation. Pour cela, remplissez-la
au préalable avec de l’eau froide et mettez-la en fonctionnement. ne fois l’eau arrivée à
ébullition, videz la bouilloire, laissez-la refroidir, rincez-la et ensuite répétez l’opération 2 à 3 fois,
en veillant à remplir la bouilloire exclusivement avec de l’eau claire.
UTILISATION
 Toujours enlever la bouilloire de son socle avant de la remplir d’eau.
 Ouvrez le couvercle en appuyant sur le bouton de déverrouillage et remplissez le réservoir
d’eau froide en prenant garde de toujours vous situer entre les deux repères de niveau
"MIN" et "MAX" inscrits sur l'indication du niveau d'eau.
 Refermez le couvercle en appuyant jusqu'à ce que vous entendiez un déclic et assurez-
vous qu’il est correctement fixé.
 Posez la bouilloire sur son socle, branchez la fiche et appuyez sur le bouton ON/OFF afin
d’allumer l’appareil. Si la bouilloire reste éteinte, vérifiez que la bouilloire est correctement
placée sur son socle et que le cordon d’alimentation est branché.
 Après avoir appuyé sur le bouton ON/OFF, le voyant "100°C", le voyant marche/arrêt et la
lumière LED seront allumés et l’eau chauffera à 100°C. NE JAMAIS ouvrir le couvercle
pendant que l’eau bout.
 La bouilloire s’arrête automatiquement dès que l’eau bout et un signal sonore retentit
mais vous pouvez arrêter la bouilloire à tout moment en appuyant de nouveau sur le
bouton ON/OFF.
