Inserting/Changing Battery:
The battery compartment is located on the back of the scale, marked ‘Battery Cover’. The KSH68
Kitchen Scales have the required battery fitted but because of factors beyond our control, the battery
may be low when first used. If the LCD display does not switch on or indicates “LO” when first used it
will be necessary to replace the fitted battery. To replace the battery, remove the battery
compartment cover by the appropriate screw driver and insert a new “3V CR2032 Lithium” type
battery. Ensure that the polarity is correct and the battery is inserted correctly. Replace the battery
compartment cover.
NOTE: When the “LO” symbol appears on the LCD, it means that the battery is almost exhausted
and requires replacement. Replace with the same type of battery as per the instructions above.
Before Use:
•The scale must be placed on a solid, nonskid and level surface. Do not use on uneven or soft
surfaces.
•Wipe and dry the glass platform of the scale to prevent slip.
•Ensure battery is correctly installed (see Inserting / Changing battery part).
