Table Work Light - Installation
AD0475
Introduction
Assemble work light
This pro edure tells you how to install the table
work light on the following ma hines:
• VF 6-12
• UMC 500-1000
Prerequisites
Parts Required:
•P/N 93-1000292 WORK TABLE LIGHT
•P/N 93-2888 WRITING TABLE WORK
LAMP KIT
Using the omponents given in the kit assemble
the work light as shown.
The bra ket [1] will need to be hanged to the
provided bra ket before pro eeding with the
install.

Push POWER OFF.
Set the main ir uit breaker to the OFF position.
Lo k the main ir uit breaker. Use an approved
lo k with an approved safety tag.
For the VF 6-9 the worklight will be pla ed in the
lo ation denoted as [1].

Start routing the able to the top of the ma hine
[2], use the wire hannels given in the kit to neatly
tu k away the able as it is being routed.

On e above the ma hine onne t the extension
so that the work light able will now rea h the
onne tion area denoted as [4].
Dis onne t the inner LED able and add the
splitter to the onne tion area [4]. Conne t the
work light able and re onne t the inner LED light
able.
Con eal the ex ess able under the able over
sheet metal [3] as best you an.
Use zip ties wherever ne essary to keep able in
pla e.

A tuate the light swit h on the side of the
ontroller to test that the work light turns on.

For the VF 10 the worklight will be pla ed in
the lo ation denoted as [1].

Start routing the able to the top of the
ma hine [2], use the wire hannels given in
the kit to neatly tu k away the able as it is
being routed.

On e above the ma hine onne t the
extension so that the work light able will
now rea h the onne tion area denoted as
[3].
The work light able may be long enough to
meet the jun tion, if not use the extension
and neatly ziptie ex ess together.
Dis onne t the inner LED able and add the
splitter to the onne tion area [3]. Conne t
the work light able and re onne t the inner
LED light able.

For the UMC line the worklight will be pla ed in
the lo ation denoted as [1].

Start routing the able to the top of the ma hine
by pla ing the able on the side of the ma hine
right next to the edge where the tool holders
would be pla ed [2]. Use the wire hannels given
in the kit to neatly tu k away the able as it is
being routed.
Conne t the extension in the area spe i8ed [3] so
that it may be routed into the tool hanger area.

Follow the able [4] to 8nd the inner LED able
onne tion and unplug it.
NOTE you may need to remove the sheet
metal [5] on the inside of the ma hine to rea h
the able onne tion.

A tuate the light swit h on the side of the
ontroller to test that the work light turns on.
