The range is made of oiled oak and has been designed for outdoor use.
The oiled finish will protect the furniture from rain showers however in prolonged wet weather
we advise covering the furniture or moving it to a sheltered area to ensure that it is not standing
in water and that it gets a chance to fully dry out.
The oiled finish on the wood is hardwearing and will protect the wood from damage, however as
it weathers it will start to turn to a silvery shade and eventually it will need to be topped up to
revive the furniture and protect the wood. This is just a simple matter of rubbing the wooden
furniture down lightly with a fine sandpaper and then applying a top-up layer of regular
furniture oil.
To extend the life of this wooden outdoor furniture range we advise either covering it during
the winter months (the furniture should be completely dry before it is covered, and the cover
needs to have some ventilation to avoid mould growth) or if possible moving it to a
sheltered area.
