INSTALLATIONLIMITATIONS
• Donotinstalltherefrigeratorwherethetemperaturewill
gobelow55°F(13°C)becauseitwillnotrunoftenenoughto
maintainpropertemperatures.
• Donotinstalltherefrigeratorwherethetemperaturewillgo
above110°F(43°C)becauseitwillnotperformproperly.
• Selectasuitablelocationfortherefrigeratoronahard
evensurfaceawayfromdirectsunlightorheatsource,e.g.
radiators,baseboardheaters,cooking appliances,etc.Any
floorunevennessshouldbecorrectedwiththelevelinglegs
locatedonthefrontbottomcornersoftherefrigerator.
• Installitonafloorstrongenoughtosupportitfullyloaded.
• Donotinstalltherefrigeratorinalocationexposedtowater
(rain,etc.)ordirectsunlight.
NOTE: Asthedoorgetspressedinduringshipping,after
reversingthedoor,thegasketmayhavetobereset.Thisis
donetopreventthecoolrefrigerated airfromescaping.If
thereisagapbetweenthedoorgasketandthecabinet,set
thegasketbygentlypullingitouttosealthegap.
IMPORTANT:Thisrefrigeratorisdesignedforfreestanding
installationonly.Itshouldnotberecessedorbuilt-inan
enclosedcabinet.Toensureyourrefrigeratorworksat
optimumefficiency,youshouldinstallitinalocationwhere
thereisproperaircirculation,andelectricalconnections.
UNPACKINGYOURREFRIGERATOR
1. Removeallpackagingmaterial.Thisincludesthefoambase
andalladhesive tapeholdingtherefrigeratoraccessories
insideandoutside.
2. Inspectandremoveanyremainsofpacking,tapeor
printedmaterialsbefore poweringontherefrigerator.
LEVELINGYOURREFRIGERATOR
• Yourrefrigeratorhastwolevelinglegswhicharelocatedin
thefrontbottom cornersofyourrefrigerator.Afterproperly
placingyour refrigeratorinitsfinalposition,youcanlevel
yourrefrigerator.
• Levelinglegscanbeadjustedbyturningthem
counterclockwisetoraise yourrefrigeratororbyturning
themclockwisetoloweryourrefrigerator.The refrigerator
doorwillcloseeasierwhenthelevelinglegsareextended.
CAUTION EXPLOSION HAZARD
Donotpuncture refrigerant tubing. Flammable refrigerant
used.Handlewith care when moving refrigeratortoavoid
eitherdamaging therefrigerant tubing or increasing therisk
ofaleak.
Do not, under any circumstances, cut or remove the third
(ground) prong from the power cord. For personal safety,
this appliance must be properly grounded.
Thepowercord of this appliance isequippedwitha
3-prong(grounding)plug which mates with astandard
3-prong(grounding)wall outlet to minimize thepossibility
ofelectricshock hazard from this appliance.
Havethewall outlet and circuit checkedbyaqualified
electriciantomake sure the outlet isproperlygrounded.
Whereastandard 2-prong wall outlet isencountered,it
isyourpersonal responsibility and obligation tohaveit
replacedwitha properly grounded 3-prong walloutlet.
Therefrigeratorshould always be plugged intoitsown
individualelectricaloutlet which has a voltageratingthat
matchestherating plate.
A115Volt AC, 60 Hz, 15-or20-ampfused,grounded
electricalsupplyis required. This provides thebest
performanceandalso prevents overloading house wiring
circuitswhichcould cause a fire hazardfromoverheated
wires.
Neverunplugyour refrigerator by pulling onthepower
cord.Alwaysgrip plug firmly and pullstraightoutfromthe
outlet.
Immediatelydiscontinueuse of a damaged supplycord.
Ifthesupply cord is damaged, itmustbereplacedbya
qualifiedserviceprofessional with an authorized service
partfromthe manufacturer.
Whenmovingthe refrigerator away from thewall, be
carefulnotto roll over or damagethepowercord.
