This is asimplified representation of front panel. Here shown may be somewhat different from your TV.
1.MENU: Menu display.
2.INPUT: Press to show the input source mode. In the MENU/INPUT screen, these buttons serve as OK buttons.
3.VOL -/+: Press to adjust the volume .In the MENU screen, these buttons serve as left/right buttons.
4.CH -/+: Press to scan through channels. To scan quickly through channels, press and hold down either +/- . In the
MENU screen, these buttonsserve as up/down buttons.
5.POWER: Press toturn on andoff the TV.
6.HDMI IN: Connect a signal to HDMI.
7. Headphone jack : Headphone audio output terminal.
8. AV2 VIDEO IN: Connects the videosignal from avideo device.
9. AV2AUDIO IN: connect to hear stereo sound froman external device.

1 Digital Audio Output: Connect digital audio to various types of equipment.
NOTE: In standby mode, these ports will not work.

VCR connection
NOTE: All cables shownare not includedwith the TV.
There are severalways to connectyour television, dependingon the componentsyou want toconnect
and the qualityof the signalyou want toachieve. The following are examples of some different ways
to connect yourTV with different input sources.
Choose Your Connection
Toavoid picture noise(interference), leave an adequate distance between the VCR and TV.
Connection Option 1
Set VCR output switch to channel 3 or 4 and
then tune the TV to the same channel number.
Connection Option 2
1. Connect the audio and video cables from the
VCR's output jacks to the TV input jacks, as
shown in the figure.
When connecting the TV to VCR, match the
jack colors (Video = yellow, Audio Left = white,
and AudioRight = red).
If you connectan S-VIDEO outputfrom VCR to
the S-VIDEO input, the picture quality is
improved; compared to connecting a regular
VCR to theVideo input.
2. Insert a video tape into the VCR and press
PLAY on the VCR. (Refer to the VCR owner`s
manual.)
3. Select the input source with using the
INPUT button on the remote control, and
then press CH+/- button to select the source,
press the OKbutton to confirm.

How to connect
1. Connect theDVD video outputs(COMPONENT) to
the Y Pb Pr jacks on the TV and connect the DVD audio
outputs to the Y Pb Pr Audio IN jacks on the TV, as
shown in the figure.
2. If your DVD onlyhas an S-VIDEOoutput jack,
connect this to the S-VIDEO inputon the TV. as shown
in the figure.
Note
If your DVD player does not have component video
output, use S-Video.
How to use
1. Turn on the DVD player, insert a DVD.
2. Use theINPUT button on the remotecontrol to select
Y Pb Pr mode.
3. Press Play button on external equipment for program
play.
4. Refer to the DVD player's manual for operating
instructions.
How to connect
Connect the audio and video cables from the external
equipment's output jacks to the TV input jacks, as shown

Digital Set-top Box
This TV can receive Digital Over-the-air/Cable signals without an external digital set-top box. However, if you do
receive Digital signals from a digital set-top box or other digital external device, refer to the figure as shown below.
This TV supports HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Contents Protection) protocol for Digital Contents (480i,480p,720p,
1080i).
How to connect
Use the TV`s COMPONENT , VGA or HDMI
jack for video connections, depending on
your set-top boxconnector. Then, make
the corresponding audioconnections.
How to use
1. Turn on the digital set-top box. (Refer to the
owner`s manual forthe digital set-top box.)
2. Use INPUT on the remote control to select
COMPONENT , VGA or HDMIsource.
Send the TV`s audio to external audio equipment (stereo
system) via theDigital AudioOutput (Optical) port.
How to connect
1. Connect one end of an optical cable to the TV Digital
Audio(Optical) Output port.
2. Connect the other end of the optical cable to the digital
audio (optical)input onthe audio equipment.
See the external audio equipment instruction manual for
operation.

When connecting withexternal audio equipments, such
as amplifers orspeakers, please turn the TV speakers off.

How toconnect
1. To getthe bestpicture quality, adjustthe PCgraphics card to 1024
2. Use the TV`s VGA or DVI (Digital Visual Interface)Audio IN port for video connections, depending on your
VGA connector.
If the graphic card on the PC does not output analog and digital RGB simultaneously, connect only one of
either VGA r HDMI/DVI INto display thePC on theTV.
If the graphiccard on thePC does outputanalog and digital RGB simultaneously, set the TV to eithe VGA
DVI; (the othermode is setto Plug andPlay automatically bythe TV.)
3. Then,make thecorresponding audioconnection. Ifusing asound card,adjust thePC soundas required.
How touse
1. Turnon the PCand the TV.
2. Turn onthe displayby pressingthe POWERbutton onthe TV'sremote control.
3. UseINPUT onthe remotecontrol toselect PCor HDMIsource.
4. Check the image on your TV. There may be noise associated with the resolution, vertical pattern, contrast or
brightness in PCmode. If noiseis present, changethe PC modeto another resolution,change the refreshrate to
another rate or adjust the brightness and contrast on the menu until the picture is clear. If the refresh rate of the
PC graphic card can not be changed, change the PC graphic card or consult the manufacturer of the PC graphic
card.
Note
1.Use aHDMI to DVI cable.
2.Avoid keeping a fixed imageon the TV's screen for a long period oftime. The fixed image maybecome
permanently imprinted on the screen.

When the source device(DVD player or SetTop Box) supports HDMI
How To Connect
1. Connect thesource device toHDMI port ofthis TV with an HDMIcable(not supplied withthis product).
2. No separatedaudio connection isnecessary.
How To Use
If the source device supports Auto HDMI function, the output resolution of the source device will be automatically
set to 1280x720p.
If the source device does not support Auto HDMI, you need to set the output resolution appropriately.
To get the best picture quality, adjust the output resolution of the source device to 1280x720p.

TO USE AC POWER SOURCE
Use the AC polarized line cord provided for
operation onAC. Insert theAC cordplug into
a standard polarizedAC outlet.
Note
Never connect the AC line cord plug to other
than the specified voltage. Use the attached
power cord only.
If the polarized AC cord does not fit into a non-
polarized AC outlet, do not attempt to file or cut
the blade. Itis the user`sresponsibility to have
an electrician replacethe obsolete outlet.
If you cause a static discharge when touching
the unit and the unit fails to function, simply
unplug the unitfrom theAC outlet andplug it back
in. The unit should return to normal operation.

Turning on your TV for the first time
Toturn on andconfigure your TV:
1Make sure thatyou have insertedthe batteries inthe remote control, connected the antenna to the TV, and
connected the AC power.
2 Press POWER, then waitseveral seconds. Thepower indicator LEDturns blue andthe TV turnson.
Note
If the TV in power on , the screen show information according the type of input signal . the information will disappear.
If there is no signal , NO SIGNAL will display on the screen.
3Select the signalsource for yourTV change the picture source so you can watch your TV, cable TV, VCR,
DVD, or anyother devices thatare connected toyour TV.

3. Press CH+/- to select the Auto Channels Search . Press
VOL+/OK the AutoChannels Search menu opens.
4. Press CH+/- to select Antenna or Cable, then pressOK.
A checkmark appears in the circle next to your choice.
Press CH+/- to select START, then press VOL+/OK. The TV
automatically scans and memorizes all the active, available
channels in your area.
5 Set the volume of your TV by pressing VOL+ or VOL-.
6 Choose theMenu Language
7 Select thechannel you wantby pressing CH+/CH-to go tothe next orprevious channel, ordirectly by
pressing the number buttons.

Switching the TV On or Off
1 First, connect power cord correctly.
2Press power button. Your TV turns on.
3Press again to turn off your TV.When you turn off your TV, it goes into standby mode.
Warning: When your TV is in standby mode, it is still receiving power. To completely disconnect power, unplug the
power cord.
Note: If your TV does not receive an input signal for several minutes, it automatically goes into standby mode.
Mute
1.Press MUTE button to mute the sound temporarily. Amute icon appears on the screen.
2.Press MUTE button or VOL+ again to restore the sound.
The mute icon disappears.
Sleep button
Press SLEEP button to set the time : Off-5 min-10 min-15 min-30 min-45min-60 min-90 min-120 min-180 min-240min.
This feature allows you to turn off the television after a pre-selected number of minutes

Press to selectadditional channels (digitaland analog) beingbroadcast by thesame station. Forexample, to select
digital channel “11-1”, press “11”, then press “ - ” and “1”.
CH.LIST button
Press to display the program list. Press CH+/- to select the item and OK button to select the channel you desired.
FAVORITE button
Adding favorite channels
Press CH.LIST. The channel list opens. Press CH+/- to select a channel.
Press FAVORITE to add thechannel to thefavorites channel list.
Toremove a favoritechannel, open thechannel list, selectthe channel youwant to remove,then press FAVORITE.
Tuning to a favorite channel
Press FAVORITE The favorite channel list opens.
Press CH+/- to select the channel.
Your LCD TV automatically tunes to the channel you selected.
SAP Broadcasts Setup
This TV can receive MTS stereo programs and SAP (Secondary Audio Program) that accompanies the stereo
program; if the station transmits an additional sound signal as well as the original one.
When having selected SAP button on the remote control, this TV can only receive the signal when the TV station
transmits the propersignals.
Mono sound is automatically received if the broadcast is only in Mono; even though Stereo or SAP has been selected.
Select Mono if you want to listen to mono sound during stereo/SAP broadcasting.
Stereo or SAP can be received in a Analog channel.
1. Use MTS/SAP to select yourdesired MTS modein a analogsignal. Each timeyou press MTS/SAP, Mono,
Stereo or SAP appear. If other languages are available on the digital signal, select them with the MTS/SAP button.
2. Press EXIT to save and return to TV viewing.
ARC button
Selects theAspect Ratio. You can select Zoom, Wide, Cinema or normal.
Zoom Choose Zoom when you want to view the picture without any alteration. However, the top and bottom
portions of the picture will be cropped.
Wide Choose wide when you want to adjust the picture horizontally, in a linear proportion to fill the entire screen.
Cinema For letterbox pictures,bars may appearon the topand bottom onsome programs.
Normal Choose normal when you want to view the picture with original aspect ratio of the input signal.

Lets you set custom audio settings when you select Custom

The TV can output Digital audio via the optical connector to an external amplifier or receiver.

You can select RAW or PCM.
(DTV channels only)
Selects an alternate audio language, if available. You can select
Auto Volume Equalizes the overall volume levels forall channels.
Reset Audio Setting Resets all audio settings to factory default.
How to Customize your own audio status
1 Press MENU ,then press VOL+/- to select AUDIO menu.

The TV automatically scans and memorizes all the active,
available channels in your area.
All available channels are automatically preset in order. After
the search is completed, the first channel number
displays on the screen. This search automatically adds only the
active channels inyour area tothe TV's memory.
It deletes any channels on which there is no broadcast or a poor
signal. The channels found are automatically saved.
6To cancel searching,press EXIT button.
Adding or skipping channels
You can delete channels from the channel list so that your TV
skips the channelswhen you pressCH+/-. You can still tune to
the hidden channelby using thenumber buttons.

Checking the DTV signal strength
You can check the DTV signal strength to determine if you need to
adjust your antenna or digital cable input. The signal strength, the
less likely you are to experience picture degradation.
