GENERAL
Welcome to Bluetooth wireless network. The Bluetooth hands-free car kit
can be connected with your Bluetooth cellular phone taken with you wirelessly.
This makes call more free, convenient, flexible and humanized.
* Bluetooth cellular phone is a cellular phone that can support Bluetooth
functions.
This Bluetooth hands-free car kit is advanced and ingenious, it has the
following features:
 Hands-free audio can be achieved seamlessly and wirelessly through
Bluetooth link.
 High quality audio interface.
 Voice dialing (need Bluetooth cellular phone to support voice dialing
function).
 Built-in DSP echo canceling circuit to cancel echo and reduce noise.

BLUETOOTH HANDS-FREE CAR KIT
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
*This Bluetooth hands-free car kits can only be used after paired with
Bluetooth cellular phone*
I. PAIRING BETWEEN BLUETOOTH HANDS-FREE CAR KIT AND
BLUETOOTH cellular phone (There are two pairing mode for the
cellular phone, i.e. headset and hands-free)
Under the condition of Bluetooth hands-free car kit near to Bluetooth
cellular phone (less than 10 meters)
1．At standby status, press control button for 3 seconds or more
and rotate it clockwise, you will access headset pairing mode.
2．At headset pairing mode, the blue indicator flashes and orange
indicator goes out.
3．After successful pairing and when at standby status, if
connection between Bluetooth hands-free car kit and Bluetooth
cellular phone has been made, the blue indicator lights up
continuously and the orange indicator goes out.
4．During pairing, press control button for 3 seconds or more, you
can cancel pairing process and the system resumes to standby
status.
Note: Typically there are different operations for cellular phone from
different manufacturers. (However, there are basically the same operations for
different models from the same manufacturer.) The pairing, connecting, and
switching during call for Bluetooth hands-free car kit and Motorola, Nokia and
Ericsson Bluetooth cellular phone are described as follows.

INITIAL PAIRING (cellular phone at standby status)
1．For Motorola cellular phone:
Press MENU/ Select SETTING/ Select CONNECTION/ Select
BLUETOOTH LINK/ Select HANDSFREE/ Select SCAN ALL. If
relative Bluetooth device is detected, its name will be displayed.
Select LINK for this device and enter password 1234.
2．For Nokia cellular phone (8910):
Press FUNCTION MENU/Select DATA CONNECTION/ Select
BLUETOOTH/ Select SEARCH FOR AUDIO DEVICE. If relative
Bluetooth device is detected, its name will be displayed. Select
LINK for this device and enter password 1234.
3．For Ericsson cellular phone (T68i):
Press FUNCTION button (between dialing button and end
button)/Select CONNECTION/ Select BLUETOOTH/ Select
SEARCH FOR DEVICE. If relative Bluetooth device is detected, its
name will be displayed. Select LINK for this device and enter
password 1234.
II. GIVE A CALL THROUGH HANDS-FREE CAR KIT
1. GIVE A CALL: Give a call through the keypad of Bluetooth cellular
phone. During call, the blue and orange indicators all light up.
2. ANSWER A CALL: When a call is incoming, the orange indicator lights
up continuously and the blue indicator flashes once a second. At this
moment, you can press the control button for less than 3 seconds to

answer the call, or you can press the control button for 3 seconds or
more to reject the call.
3. HANGUP: During call, you can press the control button for less than 3
seconds to hang up the call.
4. ADJUST VOLUME: During call or incoming call, you can rotate the
button clockwise to increase the volume and rotate the button
counterclockwise to decrease the volume.
III. VOICE CONTROL DIALING (this function can only be used for the
Bluetooth which has voice dialing function.)
1．ADD VOICE NAMETAG: Add voice nametag for the number to be
voice dialed. Refer to “voice control dialing” section in the user manual
for cellular phone for operating steps.
2．INITIATE VOICE CONTROL DIALING: At standby status and
Bluetooth cellular phone is connected, press the control button less than
3 seconds to initiate voice control dialing, a prompt voice can be heard.
3．VOICE CONTROL DIALING: User speaks the nametag for the
number to be dialed. If the spoken nametag matches a nametag stored,
an outgoing call is given to the number with this nametag.
IV. DISCONNECT THE HANDS-FREE CAR KIT WITH
BLUETOOTH cellular phone
At standby status and Bluetooth cellular phone is connected, you can
press the control button for 3 seconds or more to disconnect the
hands-free car kit with Bluetooth cellular phone.

V. AUTOMATIC LINK
1．AUTOMATIC LINK: If initial pairing has been made, the hands-free
car kit will automatically search the Bluetooth cellular phone last used
when you start the car. The orange indicator flashes and the blue
indicator lights up continuously. (For Bluetooth cellular phone powered
off during starting car, the automatic link will not be made even if it is
powered on after starting car is over.)
2．SEARCH FOR PAIRED cellular phone: At standby status and no
Bluetooth cellular phone connected, if you press the control button for 3
seconds or more, the Bluetooth hands-free car kit will search for the
paired Bluetooth cellular phone, and the orange indicator flashes and
the blue indicator lights up continuously.
*MAXIMUM THREE GROUPS OF PAIRING INFORMATION CAN BE STORED IN THIS KIT.
3．CANCEL SEARCHING: You can press the control button for 3
seconds or more to cancel searching and to let kit resume to standby
status during hands-free car kit searching for Bluetooth cellular phone.
4．INDICATORS (AT STANDBY STATUS): If the Bluetooth hands-free
car kit has been linked with Bluetooth cellular phone, the blue indicator
lights up continuously and the orange indicator goes out. If the
Bluetooth hands-free car kit isn’t linked with Bluetooth cellular phone,
the blue indicator and the orange indicator all go out.
