WHAT IS COVERED
The manufacturer warrants this lighting fixture to be free from defects in materials and workmanship
for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original
consumer purchaser and only to products used in normal use and service. If this product is found to
be defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or
replacement of the product at the manufacturer’s discretion, provided that the product has not been
damaged through misuse, abuse, accident, modifications, alterations, neglect or mishandling.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been improperly installed, set-up,
or used in any way not in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product. This warranty
shall not apply to a failure of the product as a result of an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence,
alteration, or faulty installation, or any other failure not relating to faulty material or workmanship.
This warranty shall not apply to the finish on any portion of the product, such as surface and/or
weathering, as this is considered normal wear and tear.
The manufacturer does not warrant and specially disclaims any warranty, whether expressed or
implied, of fitness for a particular purpose, other than the warranty contained herein. The

Pre-Installation
PLANNING THE INSTALLATION
Read all instructions before assembly and installation. Before starting installation of the fixture or
removal of a previous fixture, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing
the fuse at the fuse box. To avoid damaging this product, assemble it on a soft, non-abrasive
surface such as carpet or cardboard.
NOTE: Keep your receipt and these instructions
for Proof of Purchase.

1Attaching the mounting bracket
Thread two hex nuts (FF) onto the nipple
(AA) to the midpoint.
Thread the nipple (AA) in through the
center hole of the mounting bracket (CC)
approximately 1/3 of the way. Do not
tighten the hex nuts (FF).
Pull the supply wires out from the outlet
box.
Attach the mounting bracket (CC) to the
outlet box by feeding the mounting screws
(BB) through the slots of the mounting
bracket (CC) and tightening them into the
mounting holes of the outlet box.
2Aligning the canopy
Thread the screw collar loop (MM) 8 to 9
turns onto the bottom end of the nipple
(AA).
Tighten the bottom hex nut (FF) against
screw collar loop (MM).
Place the canopy (B) over the outlet box.
Turn the screw collar loop (MM) until the
midpoint of the outer threads of the screw
collar loop (MM) aligns with the bottom
surface of the canopy (B).
Remove the canopy (B) and tighten the top
hex nut (FF) against the mounting bracket
(CC).

3Attaching the socket plate
Separate the arms on the main fixture
body (A) evenly around the center.
Thread the center tube (E) onto the
coupling .
Thread the top loop (NN) onto the top of
the center tube (E) .
Thread the center tube of the main fixture
body (A) onto the socket plate (D) and
tighten.
4Attaching the center tube
Thread the center tube (EE) into the socket
plate (D) until the center tube (EE) is tight
against the socket plate (D).

5Adjusting the chain length
Attach the chain (DD) to the top loop (NN)
using the chain link connector (LL).
Raise the chain (DD) and the main fixture
body (A) up to the outlet box to determine
the desired length needed for installation.
Identify the chain link that needs to be
opened to remove the excess chain.
Open the chain link using two pair of pliers.
Remove and discard the excess chain.
Keep the opened chain link.
6Securing the chain
Slide the threaded ring (KK) onto the chain
(DD) followed by the canopy (B).
Hook the previously opened chain link
onto the top link of the chain (DD).
Raise the opened chain link along with the
chain (DD) and the main fixture body (A)
up to the ceiling and hook it onto the screw
collar loop (MM).
Use pliers to close the opened chain link.

7Threading the cord
Feed the cord and fixture ground wire into
the center hole of the screw collar loop
(MM), through the nipple (AA), and then
out of the outlet box.
Continue feeding the cord and fixture
ground wire until there is no slack
remaining.
Cut off any excess cord and fixture ground
wire, leaving 6 in. extending from the outlet
box.
Split and separate the fixture cord and strip
off 3/8 in. of insulation from each wire.
8Connecting the wires
Loop the fixture ground wire around the
ground screw and leave 4 in. of wire
extending from the ground screw.
Tighten the ground screw against the
mounting bracket (CC).
Connect the black supply wire to the
smooth fixture wire using a wire nut (JJ).
Connect the white supply wire to the ribbed
fixture wire using a wire nut (JJ).
Connect the fixture ground wire and the
supply ground wire together using a wire
nut (JJ).
Wrap all wire connections with electrical
tape for a more secure connection.

9Securing the canopy
Slide the canopy (B) up the chain (DD),
toward the outlet box, and up against the
ceiling surface.
Slide the threaded ring (KK) up the chain
(DD) and thread it onto the screw collar
loop (MM) to secure the canopy (B) flush
against the ceiling surface.
10Assembling the fixture
Thread a hex nut (FF), followed by a
washer (HH) , and then a rubber washer (II)
onto the center tube (EE).
Install an incandescent light bulb or listed
SBCFL (Self-Ballasted Compact
Fluorescent Lamp [not included]) into the
sockets.
Thread the center tube (EE) through the
center of the glass shade (C).
Thread a rubber washer (II), then a washer
(HH), and secure them with a hex nut (FF).
Insert the decorative cap (OO) through the
center tube (EE) and secure the decorative
cap (OO) using the finial (GG).

Operation
Turn on power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
Turn the light switch on to activate the fixture.
Care and Cleaning
EXTERIOR MAINTENANCE
Use a dry or slightly dampened clean
cloth and wipe the surface of the fixture.
INTERIOR MAINTENANCE
Disconnect power to the fixture by
turning off the circuit breaker or by
removing the fuse at the fuse box.
Use a dry or slightly dampened clean
cloth to wipe the interior surface of the
fixture.
Troubleshooting

NOTE: Do not use any cleaners with chemicals,
solvents, or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry
soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully.

The light will not turn on.
Make sure the power supply is on.
Test or replace the switch.
Check the wiring.
Replace the light bulb.
The fuse blows or the circuit breaker trips
when the light is turned on.
Check the wire connections.

PLANIFICACIÓN DE LA INSTALACIÓN

1Sujetando la ménsula de montaje
Enrosque dos tuercas hexagonales (FF)
en la boquilla (AA) hasta su punto medio
aproximado.
Enrosque la boquilla (AA) a través del
agujero central de la ménsula de montaje
(CC) 1/3 aproximadamente de su
profundidad. No apriete las tuercas
hexagonales (FF).
Saque los cables de alimentación de la
caja de alimentación.
Fije la ménsula de montaje (CC) en la caja
de alimentación al pasar los tornillos de
montaje (BB) por los agujeros de la
ménsula de montaje (CC) y al apretarlos
en los agujeros de montaje de la caja de
alimentación.
2Alineando la cubierta
Enrosque el bucle roscado (MM) 8 a 9 en
el extremo inferior de la boquilla (AA).
Apriete la tuerca hexagonal inferior (FF)
contra el bucle roscado (MM).
Coloque la cubierta (B) encima de la caja
de alimentación.
Gire el bucle roscado (MM) hasta que el
punto medio de las roscas exteriores del
bucle roscado (MM) quede alineado con la
cubierta (B).
Quite la cubierta (B) y apriete la tuerca
hexagonal superior (FF) contra la ménsula
de montaje (CC).

5Ajustando la longitud de la cadena
Coloque la cadena (DD) a el bucle superior
(NN) con el eslabón conector de la cadena
(LL).
Levante la cadena (DD) y el cuerpo
principal (A) hasta la caja de alimentación
para determinar la longitud deseada para
la instalación.
Identifique el eslabón de la cadena que
necesita abrir para quitar el exceso de
cadena.
Utilizando dos pares de pinzas, abra el
eslabón de la cadena.
Quite y deseche el exceso de cadena.
Conserve el eslabón abierto de la cadena.
6Asegurando la cadena
Deslice el aro roscado (KK) en la cadena
(DD), seguido por la cubierta (B).
Enganche el eslabón de la cadena abierto
previamente en el eslabón superior de la
cadena (DD).
Levante el eslabón abierto de la cadena
junto con la cadena (DD) y el cuerpo
principal (A) hasta el techo y engánchelo
en el bucle roscado (MM).
Use pinzas para cerrar el eslabón abierto.

7Enhebrando el cable
Pase el cordón y el cable a tierra del
luminario en el agujero central del bucle
roscado (MM), por el centro de la boquilla
(AA), y fuera de la caja de alimentación.
Continúe pasando el cordón y el cable a
tierra del luminario hasta que no quede
exceso de cable ni de cordón.
Corte cualquier exceso del cordón y del
cable a tierra del luminario, dejando una
longitud de 6 pulgadas (15,24 cm), que se
extiende desde la caja de alimentación.
Divida el cable a la mitad y pele 3/8 pulg.
(9,5 mm) del aislamiento de cada cable.
8Conectando los cables
Enrolle el cable tierra del luminario
alrededor del tornillo de tierra y deje que el
cable extienda 4 pulg. (10,16 cm).
Enrolle el cable tierra del luminario
alrededor del tornillo de tierra y deje que el
cable extienda 4 pulg. (10,16 cm).
Apriete el tornillo de tierra contra la
ménsula de montaje (CC).
Conecte el cable negro de alimentación
con el cable liso usando una tuerca para
cables (JJ).
Conecte el cable blanco de alimentación
con el cable acanalado usando una tuerca
para cables (JJ).
Conecte el cable a tierra del luminario con
el cable a tierra de alimentación usando
una tuerca para cables (JJ).
Envuelva todas las conexiones de los
cables con cinta de aislar para una
conexión más segura
