洗浄する場合はやわらかいスポンジに中性洗剤を使用してください。
やわらかいスポンジでも、下図のようにクレンザーやガラスに傷のつく
研磨材、または研磨粒子がついているスポンジなどは使用しないでく
ださい。思わぬときに破損する原因となります。

Thank you for purchasing the Coffee Syphon. Please read this user's manual completely before
usingyourCoffeeSiphonforthefirsttime.Itisimportantthatyoufollowalloftheguidelinesand
take the utmost care to avoid any harm due to improper handling. Keep this manual at hand for
easyreference.
● 上ボール、下ボール、フタは食器洗い乾燥機のご使用ができます。上ボールはゴムパッキンをつけた
まま、下ボールはスタンドから取り外し、ガラスのみご使用ができます。ご使用の際は、お手持ち
の食器洗い乾燥機の取扱説明書をよくお読みください。
● ガラスの汚れのひどいときは「家庭用漂白剤」を薄めてご使用ください。その際「家庭用漂白剤」
の取扱注意事項を必ずお守りください。漂白後は十分に水洗いしてください。

Add a level spoonful per cup (about 10g
or 0.35oz )of ground coffee  into the
upperbowl.
計量スプーンで杯数分のコーヒーを上ボールに
入れます。1杯分のコーヒーは計量スプーンにす
りきり1杯（約10g）が標準ですが、お好みに合
わせてお入れください。

点火する前に、ランプガラスのヒビ、欠けがない事を確認の上 、
アルコールをランプホルダーの位置まで入れて使用してください。
火がついた状態で、アルコールランプを動かさないでください。火災
の恐れがあります。使用途中でのアルコールの補給は、絶対にしない
でください。
火を消した後は、消したことを必ず確認してください。火災の恐れが
あります。
燃料用アルコールのみでご使用してくださ
い。ガソリン、ベンジン、石油は絶対にご
使用にならないでください。
●上ボールを外すときに、あまり強く前後に傾けたり、回したりしないでください。ゴム抜け、ゴムずれの原因となります。
●綿芯は、アルコールランプ専用のものをご使用ください。
●火を消す際は、ランプフタでフタをしてください。
●長期間使用しないときは、残ったアルコールをアルコールの容器にもどしてください。
●燃料用アルコールについては、アルコール容器の注意書・説明書をよく読み、お取扱
いには十分ご注意ください。

tableforheating.
●Becertainthattheheatsourcehitsthecenterofthebottomofthelowerbowl.
 Donotplacehandsorfacenearthelowerbowlwhileheating.
Hotwatermayspurtout.
CAUTION!
● Thestandmayconductheat,sodonottouchitwithyourbarehands.Usea glove,
 hotpad,orthickclothtoholdthestandwhencarryingit.DonotsettleCoffeeSiphon
onavinyltableclothorasurfaceeasilyaffectedbyheat.
● Afteruse,donottouchanyglasspartwithawetclothorputthemonawetsurface
untiltheyhavebeencooled.Thesuddenchangeintemperaturemaycausebreakage.
●Donotuseametalspooninsidetheglassbowl.Itmaycausebreakage.
●Becarefulwhenhandlingchippedorbrokenglassparts.
Useasoftspongeandmilddishdetergentforcleaning.
Donotusespongeswithabrasivesormetalsscouringpadsattached.
Cleaningusingsuchspongesmaycausedamage.Donotuse
abrasivecleansers.Thismaydamageorscratchthesurfaceofthe
glassware.
UseonlytheheatsourcemanufacturedfortheCoffeeSiphon.Taketheutmostcare
whenhandlingthealcoholburner.Alcoholisahighlyflammablesubstance!Donot 
placehandsorfacenearthelowerbowlwhileheating.Donotusebrushesandabrasive 
components(eitherpowderorliquid)tocleantheglassware.Itmaycausetheglass
breakage.
Useonlyfuel-typealcohol.Neverusegasoline,benzeneorkerosene.
Purchasefuel-typealcoholfromapharmacy,etc.
● Keepthecottonwickatalengthof3mm.Adjustthelengthso
thattheheightoftheflameisunder4cm.
● Ifthealcoholisfilledintoomuch,thealcoholwillexpandandoverflow.
Confirmthattherearenocracksorchipsonthesurfaceoftheburner
reservoir.Whenfiling,onlypourpourinenoughalcoholtofillitto 
thepositionoflampholder.
●Useonlythecottonwickprovidedwiththealcoholburner.
Donotmoveorattempttorefillthealcoholburnerwhenlit.Thismay
causeafire.
●Extinguishtheflamebysmotheringitwiththecoverprovided.
 Makesurethattheflameisextinguishedcompletelytoavoidapossible
fire.
● Emptytheburnerreservoirwhennotusedforalongtime.Andreturn
thealcoholthecontainerofremiaingalcohol.
● Handlealcoholwiththeutmostcare.Readtheinstructionsand
cautionsforuseofalcoholdescribedonthecontainer.
● Ifthereshouldoccuranydefectinworkmanshipormaterialsdueto
misuseoraccident,replacementpartsfortheHarioCoffeeSyphon
areavailableatretailstoresthatcarryourproducts.
● 綿芯は火口から3mm程出してください。また、炎の
長さは4cm以下になるように綿芯の長さや広がりを
調整してください。
● アルコールを入れすぎると、アルコール液があふれます。
危険ですのでランプホルダーの位置以上には入れないでください。

●新しいろか器は必ずろか布に熱湯を通してからお使いください。
●ろか器は、繰り返しご使用になると臭気がうつりますので、その都度よく水洗いし
てから、水をはった容器に入れて冷蔵庫の中で保存してください。
●水洗いの際は、歯ブラシを使って洗うと汚れが落ちやすく便利です。
＊ろか布にはお取替えパーツがあります。ハリオのろか布ＦＳ-103（5枚入）と指
定してご購入ください。
ガラスは割れるものです。洗浄やご使用時はていねい
にお取扱いください。
お子様に使用させないでください。また、幼児のそばで
使用したり、幼児の手の届く所に置かないでください。
ヒビ、欠け、強いスリ傷の入ったものは、思わぬときに
破損し、火災の原因となることがありますので絶対に使
用しないでください。
●スタンドは熱くなりますので、素手で持たないでください。持ち運
びの際は、なべつかみなどを使ってスタンドを持ってください。また、
ビニール製のテーブルクロスなど、熱に弱いものや可燃性の高いもの
の上では使用しないでください。
●ガラスが熱いうちにぬれた布でふれたり、ぬれた台の上に置くと急激
な温度変化による破損の原因となります。
●ガラス器の内面を、金属スプーンなどで強くたたいたり、強くこすったり
しないでください。破損の原因になります。
●破損した際の お取扱いは、ケガをしないよう十分ご注意ください。
●廃棄する際は、各自治体の指示に従い分別してください。
サイフォン用ガステーブルの炎は必ず弱火に調節して
ください。炎が下ボールの底より外にでますと、スタ
ンドやガラスが過熱され、破損の原因となります。
燃えやすいもののそばでは使用しないでください。
火災の恐れがあります。
アルコールランプは、炎がついたまま移動させないで
ください。
●コーヒーサイフォンとしての用途以外にはご使用にならないでください。
●外側の水滴は拭き取ってから火にかけてください。
●上ボールにお湯が上がった際に、下ボールが空だきに近い状態になりますが、必要以上
の加熱は絶対にしないでください。破損の原因となります。
●専用加熱器具のアルコールランプ、サイフォン用ガステーブルでご使用ください。
● 下ボールはアルコールランプ、サイフォン用ガステーブル の中心に置いてください。
突然一気に沸騰して湯が激しく吹き出る恐れがあります（突沸現象）。
加熱中は顔などを近づけないでください。
●器具はつねに清潔にし、ご使用前にも水洗いをしてください。
●コーヒー豆の挽き方は中挽き・サイフォン用です。
●コーヒー粉は、新鮮なものをご使用ください。
（コーヒー粉の保存は密閉できる容器が適しています。）
●サイフォン式コーヒー1杯分の標準量 コーヒー粉………………約10g
使用するお湯または水…約120ml
出来上がりコーヒー……約100ml
●あらかじめ温めたコーヒーカップに、出来上がったコーヒーを注ぎますと
よりおいしくいただけます。
●購入の際は薬局などで燃料用アルコール（コーヒーサイフォン用）とご指定くだ
さい。
●燃料用アルコールは飲用すると危険ですので幼児の手の届かないところに保管
してください。また、医薬用外劇物に指定されているものは認印またはサインを
要求される場合があります。
お湯が沸騰しすぎたときは、吹きこぼれ等を防ぐため、一旦
スタンドをアルコールランプから遠ざけて、沸騰がしずまっ
てから上ボールを差し込み、再び加熱します。
お湯が沸騰する前に上ボールを斜めに差し込み加熱すると、
ろか器の鎖部分より細かいアワが出て、突沸が起こりにくく
なります。
注意：お湯が沸く前に上ボールをまっすぐ差し込むと、沸騰す
る前にお湯が上がり、コーヒーの味がそこなわれます。

杯数に合わせてお湯または水を下ボールに注ぎ、
アルコールランプに火をつけます。アルコール
ランプは下ボールの中心に置いてください。また、
炎が下ボールの底から外に出ないようにしてくだ
さい。綿芯は火口より3mm程度です。

ろか器を上ボールの中心に入れて鎖を引き、必ず
フックを足管の先端に引っ掛けて固定し、フタ
兼上ボール立てに差します。
上ボールをあらかじめ斜めに差し込み、沸騰を
待ちます。
お湯が沸騰してきたら、上ボールを軽く乗せる
ように差し込んでください。

下 ボー ル の お 湯が 上 がりましたら、計 量 スプ
ーンの 柄で粉をほぐす程度にかきまぜ、その
まま 1 分 程 加 熱を 続 けま す。そ の 際 、下 ボ ー
ルが空だきに近 い状 態になりますので 、必 要
以上の加熱はしないでください。

mix lightly. And heat for 40 to 60
seconds. Since the lower bowl will then
bealmostempty,takeextremecareNOT
tooverheat.
その後、スタンドをアルコールランプから遠ざけてラ
ンプフタをかぶせて火を消し、上ボールからコーヒー
が下ボールに自然に下がるまで待ちます。アルコー
ルランプは炎がついたまま移動させないでください。
Movethestandawayfromtheburnerand
extinguish theflame by placinglid onthe
burner. Wait for coffee to drip naturally
into the lower bowl. Do NOT move the
burnerwithoutextinguishedtheflame.
下ボールにコーヒーが下がったら片手でしっか
りとスタンドを持ち、上ボールを前後に傾けるよ
うにして静かにはずし、上ボール立てに立ててく
ださい。
Removetheupperbowlbygentlyrocking
backandforth,andplaceitonstand.
温めたカップに注いでお召しあがりください。
You now have a perfect pot of coffee to
beservedstraightthecup.
取扱い上の注意
●火にかける時は外側の水滴をぬぐい、途中で差し
水をする時は冷水をさけ、またガラスの部分が熱
くなっている時はぬれた布でふれたり、ぬれた所
に置かないで下さい。
●空だきをしないで下さい。
●洗う時は、研磨材入りたわし、金属たわしやクレ
ンザーなどを使用しないで下さい。
●突然一気に沸騰して湯が激しく吹き出す恐れがあ
るので、加熱中は顔などを近づけないで下さい。
●加熱器具の中心に置き、必ず弱火で使用して下さい。
●使用区分以外には使用しないで下さい。

●Diptheclothfilterinboilingwaterbeforeusingoffirsttime.
●To prevent absorbing odor, wash the filter after use, place it in a
container filled with water and store the container it the refrigerator.
Pleasechangethewaterregularly.
●For washing the filter, cleaning using a toothbrush is very easy and
recommended.
＊When filters become worn, replacement filters are available: part. no.
FS-103clothfilter,packagecontaining5filters.
●Usefuel-typealcoholcommonlysoldinpharmacies,etc.
●Keepthealcoholawayfromchildren.(Fuel-typealcoholcanbeharmfulif

Ifthewaterisboilingtoofast(istoohot),removetheflame(moveburner
and holder) to reduce the temperature. Attach the upper bowl only after
bubblinghascalmed,andthenreheat.(Youcanalsotilttheupperbowlso
thatthechainattachedtothefiltercausestinybubblestobeproduced.)
Note: Do not attach the upper bowl before the water begins to boils. If
lukewarmwaterissiphonedintothewaterpip,itmayruinthepotofcoffee.
●Clean the Coffee Siphon thoroughly and regularly and wash before
everyuse.
●Grindcoffeebeanstomedium-grainsizeforsiphonuse(nottoofine).
●Buyfreshlygroundcoffee(andstoreitinanairtightcontainer).
Whenusing thesiphonmethod,approximate10gofcoffeeand120ml
waterproduce100mlofcoffee.
