2 Safety instructions
This device is intended to be used for amplication and playback of signals from musical
instruments with electromagnetic pickups. Any other use or use under other operating condi‐
tions is considered to be improper and may result in personal injury or property damage. No
liability will be assumed for damages resulting from improper use.
This device may be used only by persons with sucient physical, sensorial, and intellectual
abilities and having corresponding knowledge and experience. Other persons may use this
device only if they are supervised or instructed by a person who is responsible for their safety.

Danger for children
Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of properly and are not within reach of babies and young children. Choking
hazard! Ensure that children do not detach any small parts (e.g. knobs or the like) from the unit. They could swallow the pieces and
choke! Never let children unattended use electrical devices.
DANGER!
Electric shock caused by high voltages inside
Within the device there are areas where high voltages may be present. Never remove any covers. There are no user-serviceable parts
inside. Do not use the device if covers, protectors or optical components are missing or damaged.

DANGER!
Electric shock caused by short-circuit
Do not modify the mains cable or the plug. Failure to do so could result in electric shock/death or re. If in doubt, seek advice from a
registered electrician.
CAUTION!
Possible hearing damage
The device can produce volume levels that may cause temporary or permanent hearing impairment. Over an extended period of
time, even levels that seem to be uncritical can cause hearing damage. Decrease the volume level immediately if you experience
ringing in your ears or hearing impairment. If this is not possible, keep a greater distance or use sucient ear protectors.
CAUTION!
Possible hearing damage
Using headphones for a prolonged period and at high volume can cause hearing damage. Avoid using the device at high volume,
especially when using headphones.
WARNING!
Risk of burns
The surface of the device can become very hot during operation. Do not touch the device with bare hands during operation, and
after switching o wait for at least 15 minutes.

Do not block areas of ventilation. Do not install the device near any direct heat source. Keep the device away from naked ames.

NOTICE!
Operating conditions
This device has been designed for indoor use only. To prevent damage, never expose the device to any liquid or moisture. Avoid
direct sunlight, heavy dirt, and strong vibrations. Only operate the device within the ambient conditions specied in the chapter
‘Technical specications’ of this user manual. Avoid heavy temperature uctuations and do not switch the device on immediately
after it was exposed to temperature uctuations (for example after transport at low outside temperatures). Dust and dirt inside can
damage the unit. When operated in harmful ambient conditions (dust, smoke, nicotine, fog, etc.), the unit should be maintained by
qualied service personnel at regular intervals to prevent overheating and other malfunction.

Power supply
Before connecting the device, ensure that the input voltage (AC outlet) matches the voltage rating of the device and that the AC
outlet is protected by a residual current circuit breaker. Failure to do so could result in damage to the device and possibly injure the
user. Unplug the device before electrical storms occur and when it is unused for long periods of time to reduce the risk of electric
shock or re.
NOTICE!
Possible staining
The plasticiser contained in the rubber feet of this product may possibly react with the coating of your surface and after some time
cause permanent dark stains. In case of doubt, do not put the rubber feet directly on the surface and use a suitable underlay if neces‐
sary, i.e. felt pads or similar.

4 Installation and starting up
Unpack and check carefully there is no transportation damage before using the unit. Keep the
equipment packaging. To fully protect the product against vibration, dust and moisture during
transportation or storage use the original packaging or your own packaging material suitable
for transport or storage, respectively.
Create all connections while the device is o. Use the shortest possible high-quality cables for
all connections. Take care when running the cables to prevent tripping hazards.
NOTICE!
Possible property damage by magnetic elds
Loudspeakers produce a static magnetic eld. Therefore, maintain an appropriate
distance to devices that can be adversely aected or damaged by an external
magnetic eld.

[RHYTHM] | LED lights up when the drum machine is active.

[ACTIVE] | button to activate the drum machine

6 Operating
6.1 Selecting amp sound
Turn the control [AMP] and select one of the eight amp sounds.
The following table shows the preset amps sounds.

6.2 Drum machine
6.2.1 Turning on drum machine
1. Press [ACTIVE] to turn on the drum machine. The LED [RHYTHM] is lit.
2. To turn o the drum machine, press again [ACTIVE]. The LED [RHYTHM] turns o.
6.2.2 Selecting rhythm style
1. To select one of the 36 rhythm styles, press [TURN] while the drum machine is active. The
LEDs [RHYTHM], [TEMPO] and [VOLUME] light up alternately.
2. If the [RHYTHM] LED lights up only, use [–] or [+] to select the desired rhythm style.
3. When the desired rhythm style is selected, release [–] or [+] .
The following table shows the preset rhythm styles.

6.2.3 Selecting the rhythm style speed
1. To select the speed of the selected rhythm style, press [TURN] while the drum machine is
active. The LEDs [RHYTHM], [TEMPO] and [VOLUME] light up alternately.
2. If the [VOLUME] LED lights up only, press and hold [–] or [+] to set the speed between the
values 30 and 240.
3. When the desired speed is reached, release [–] or [+] .
