Thisproductisequippedwith a memorybackup
systemthat preservestuner presetsand system
configurationinformationif the unit isacciden-
tally unpluggedor subjectedto apowerout-
age,Theunit'smemoryisstoredin an EEPROM,
andthusthe HK3470will retain information
suchasprogrammedpresetswithoutbeing
connectedto a mainpowersourcevirtually
Processor Reset
Inthe rarecasewherethe unit'soperationor
the displaysseemabnormal,the causemay
involvethe erraticoperationofthe system's
memoryor microprocessor
]o correctthisproblem,first unplugthe unit
from theACwall outletand wait at leastthree
minutes Afterthe pause,reconnecttheAC
powercord andcheckthe unit's operation If
the systemstill malfunctions,a systemreset
maydear the problem,
Ifthe systemsBlldoesnot respond,it maybe
