STEP 2: Join the Bottom and Top Tubes together using the Connection Tube
Join the Top Pole Tube and Bottom Pole Tube together
using the Connecting Tube Item 6.
INSTALLER CAUTION: Make sure that the inter-connecting
slots in the Pole Tubes are correctly lined up.
Slide the Bottom Cover Tube Item 5 onto the Bottom Pole
Tube.
You are now ready to stand the Pole Assembly up. Put it
into the Base Item 4 between the oor and ceiling. The next
step is easier with two people.
STEP 3: Pole Height Adjustment and alignment
A. Slide the Bottom Cover Tube Item 5 up out of your way while you are doing
this step.
B. You can adjust the height of the Titan pole by turning the screw until the
Ceiling Disc is touching your ceiling. Use the Adjusting Bar supplied to
help you do this. Before you nally tighten the Titan pole check that it is
perpendicular (90 degrees) to the oor in all directions. You can use the level
supplied. When it is perpendicular and where you want it to be, tighten the
Titan pole using the Adjustment Bar.
INSTALLER CAUTION: Do not over tighten the Titan pole because it can
damage your ceiling.
STEP 4: Final Checks
Ensure the Titan pole is safe and secure by grasping the Titan pole mid-height then push and pull vigorously. The
Ceiling Disc and Base should not slide or move if the Titan pole is tensioned correctly. If the Ceiling Disc or Base
moves or slips in any way, increase tension on the pole by tightening the screw. Double check that the Titan pole is
still perpendicular. When the Titan pole is tight and secure, tighten the Locking Nut against the bottom of the Titan
pole Tube. Slide the Cover Tube down over the screw.
Additional Securing methods (Optional)
The Titan pole base can be xed permanently onto the oor with two fasteners (Not Supplied). This will provide a more
secure installation. This method should be used in any of the following conditions exist:
• If the Titan pole will be subject to heavy usage. Heavy usage is dened as when the Titan pole is used for
more than normal balance assistance for stability.
• The ceiling or oor is subject to exion or movement.
• The oor surface is smooth or polished making it easy for the Base to move or slip.
• There is a chance that the oor in the area where the Titan Pole is installed could get wet.
