INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS PT-A-910
Prisoner Transport Thermometer
TOOLS REQUIRED:
Power drill Wrench set
5/16” drill bit Phillips screwdriver Safety goggles
PARTS and HARDWARE SUPPLIED:
1 Dual Display Thermometer PRM97500
1 Temp probe cover / guard KKM99043
1 2” x 2” Velcro Hook AB-15-0405
1 2” x 2” Velcro Loop AB-15-0406
4 #10 x 3/4" Phillips pan head sheet metal screw GSM33195
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Install one (1) CR2025 battery into Digital read out display.
2. Use buttons on back of display and adjust settings as desired.
3. Mount digital read out display with 2” x 2” Velcro. The temperature probe wire length
will limit display location. Front upper side of bulkhead is recommended.
4. Drill small hole in desired location of prisoner compartment ceiling to fit probe through.
(5/16” diameter recommended).
5. Drill four (4) holes to mount 2” x 3” temperature probe cover / guard.
6. Run rear probe wire from digital read out display to rear mount / vented guard location.
7. Attach probe on the protected side of guard with a wire tie.
8. Digital read out display has probe built in for drivers compartment temperature sensing.
9. Display will show front and rear temperature.
