Przechowywanych jest maksymalnie 30 wyników. Wyniki pomiaru
zapamiętane są razem z datą pomiaru i sekwencją (ucho czy czoło).

jeżeli włączona jest funkcja TALK.
Wynik zostanie automatycznie przechowany w PAMIĘCI 3.
(MEMORY). Jeżeli znajduje się tam już 30 wyników, usunięty
zostanie pierwszy wynik [najstarszy], zmniejszy się numeracja o
jedną pozycję, a najnowszy rezultat będzie na początku.
Mierz temperaturę maksymalnie 3 razy pod rząd. W przy-4.
padku wielokrotnego pomiaru – 4 razy lub powyżej – odczekaj
przynajmniej 10 minut zanim przystąpisz do kolejnego.
Wyświetlanie wyniku pomiaru:5.
Wyświetlanie rzeczywistej wartości wyniku dla pomiarów między 32,0°C a 42,9 °C (89,6 °F – 109, •

is recommended to keep the thermometer approx. 30 minutes at room temperature (the measure-
ment place) before taking the measurement.

Unexpected uctuations of surrounding temperature may have a negative inuence on the ac-3.
curacy of measurement. If the place where measurement will be taken shows a different temperature
than the place where the thermometer is or if an attempt is made to measure temperature near to the
air conditioning, then achieving the intended result is impossible.
Make sure that the ear is clean so as not to cause inaccuracy in measurement.4.
The measurement should be taken while resting to ensure an accurate result. The temperature 5.
may increase directly after doing exercises or bathing.
To measure temperature in the ear: 1.
Take off the FOREHEAD COVER from the thermometer, place carefully the measuring probe along
the ear drum into the ear, and then press the Measure key to start the measurement. You’ll hear a

· In such cases wait 20 minutes before measuring temperature.8.
If ear drops or other medicine were applied to the ear canal, use the ear which was not treated or 9.

gently in the middle of the forehead, between eyebrows and hair
line. Press the Measure key to start the measurement. You’ll
hear a sound then. After the completion of measurement you’ll
hear two short sounds. Now you can read the result on the
display or hear it through a speaker, if the TALK function is on.
The result is automatically stored in the MEMORY. If there are 3.
already 30 results there, the oldest one will be removed and the
numbering will decrease by one position;
Measure the temperature a maximum of 3 times in a row. 4.
If the measurement is constantly taken – 4 times or more – wait at least 10 minutes before you start
another one.

during the measurement you will hear a “didi” sound, independently of whether the thermometer is in
the talking mode or in the non-talking mode.
4. When the TALK function is on, a speaker symbol is on. If it is turned off, the speaker symbol will
not appear on the display. The default language in the TALK function is English.

RECOMMENDATIONS
It is recommended to beginner users to measure the temperature for the rst time in the same 1.
ear 3 times in a row. The highest result should be recorded if there are various results because each
thermometer used without a break may show a slight error in measurement (+/-0.3°C, +/-0.5°F).
Wait approx. 30 seconds before you measure the temperature in the same person to prevent 2.
excessive cooling of the skin.
Healthy users have almost the same temperature in both ears. Please select an ear which shows 3.
a constant and relatively higher temperature.
Please clean the ear before measurement. 4.
Memory mode:

BATTERYREPLACEMENT
Remove the battery cover. Use only new alkaline batteries (2xAAA). Put the battery cover back tightly.

Remove all stains from the device with a soft dry cloth.1.
Clean the end of the probe as follows: wipe its surface gently with a swab of cotton wool or soft 2.
cloth moistened with alcohol. The thermometer can be used after the alcohol dries.
Do not wash the thermometer with water, abrasive detergent or detergent containing benzene. 3.
Storage:
After each use clean the thermometer and put on the protective cover. 1.
Do not leave the thermometer exposed to direct sun, high temperatures, humidity, re, ames, 2.
shocks or hits.
If you do not use the thermometer for a long time, take out the batteries. 3.
Calibration:
The thermometer is factory-calibrated. If the thermometer is used according to the user manual, 1.
periodic calibration is not required. If there are any doubts concerning the accuracy of measurement,
please contact your shop assistant immediately. Do not try to modify or reassemble the thermometer.
