Läs noggrant igenom bruksanvisningen innan du använder produkten

– Innan du ansluter enheten: Säkerställ att ditt vägguttags spänning
motsvarar den spänning som anges på produktens typskylt
(typskylten är placerad på undersidan av enheten).
– För att förhindra risk för elchock: Öppna aldrig höljet. Det finns
inga delar som du som användare själv kan laga. Överlåt all
service till kvalificerad servicepersonal.
– Reparationer av elektriska enheter får endast utföras av behörig
servicepersonal. Felaktig reparation kan utsätta användaren och
enheten för allvarlig fara.
– Använd inte produkten om den har en skadad kontakt eller sladd,
eller efter att den tappats och skadats på något sätt. Gör du det
kan det leda till elchock/personskador eller skador på egendom.
– Om strömsladden är skadad måste den ersättas av tillverkaren,
dess serviceagent eller liknande kvalificerad servicepersonal för att
undvika fara.
– Koppla inte från enheten genom att dra i sladden, dra i kontakten.
Annars kan sladden eller enheten skadas.
– Tryck inte in föremål i några öppningar på enheten då skada på

– Lämna aldrig enheten i närheten av barn. Produkten är ingen
leksak! Noggrann tillsyn krävs när produkten används i närheten
av barn.
– Kannan är designad för användning med den här apparaten.
Kannan får aldrig användas på en spisplatta.
– För att stänga av trycker du på ”On/off”-knappen och kopplar från
kaffebryggaren från eluttaget.
– Det finns risk att du skållar dig om du tar av kannans lock under
bryggning. Var försiktig så du inte bränner dig på ångan.
– Vissa delar av apparaten blir varma vid användning. Använd därför
alltid handtag och knoppar.
– Lämna aldrig en tom karaff på värmeplattan, då det finns risk att
den går sönder.
– Använd inte apparaten om kannan visar några tecken på att vara
trasig. Använd endast kannan med denna utrustning.
– Ställ aldrig en varm kanna på en varm eller kall yta.
– Låt inte kaffebryggaren gå utan vatten. Tillsätt vatten innan du
startar enheten.

ANVÄNDNING
FÖRE FÖRSTA ANVÄNDNING
Kontrollera att alla delar är kompletta och inte skadade. Fyll vattentanken med
vatten upp till MAX-nivån. Brygg vatten flera gånger utan kaffepulver, och häll sedan
ut vattnet. Rengör och torka alla delar noggrant enligt stycket ”Rengöring och
underhåll”.
ANVÄNDA DIN KAFFEBRYGGARE
1. Fäll upp locket och fyll vattenbehållaren med kallt dricksvatten. Säkerställ
att vattennivån inte är lägre än MIN-indikeringen och inte överstiger MAX-
indikeringen.
2. Sätt tratten i behållaren. Säkerställ att den sitter ordentligt, annars går det inte
stänga locket till vattenbehållaren. Sätt i ett filter (1x4) i tratten. Det ingår ett
flergångsfilter men det går även bra att använda engångsfilter.
3. Tillsätt kaffepulver i filtret. Vanligtvis är ett mått kaffe lagom till en kopp men det
kan behöva justeras enligt personliga preferenser. Stäng sedan locket.
4. Stäng kannans lock genom att vrida det medurs tills det låses på plats. Placera
kaffekannan på värmeplattan.
5. Anslut strömkabeln till ett eluttag. Displayen visar “12:00”.
6. Tryck på ”On/off”. ”On/off”-indikatorn lyser i rött och kaffebryggaren börjar
brygga.
Obs! Under bryggning går det inte använda knapparna “Prog” ,“Hour” och
“Min”.
7. Bryggningsprocessen kan avbrytas när som helst genom att trycka på ”On/off”.
”On/off”-indikatorn slocknar för att visa att kaffebryggaren är avstängd.
Bryggningen återupptas när du trycker på ”On/off” igen.
Obs! Du kan ta ut kannan och hälla upp kaffe när du vill. Enheten är utrustad
med droppstopp som gör att den stoppar flödet när du tar bort kannan, men
tiden du lyfter bort kannan får inte överstiga 30 sekunder. Om tiden överstiger
30 sekunder kommer tratten svämma över.
8. Ta ut kannan och servera när bryggningen är klar (ungefär en minut efter att
kaffet slutat rinna igenom).
Obs! Det färdiga kaffet är mindre än mängden vatten du tillsatte, detta beror på
att delar av vattnet absorberas av kaffepulvret.
9. Enheten stängs av automatiskt och går in i standby-läge när bryggningen är
klar. Kaffet hålls varmt i termoskannan. Vi rekommenderar dock inte att du låter
kaffet stå längre än en timme. För optimal kaffesmak bör det avnjutas direkt.
10. Stäng alltid av kaffebrygaren och koppla från kontakten från eluttaget när du
inte använder den.
Obs! Var försiktig när du häller upp kaffet. Kaffet är tillräckligt varmt för att kunna
orsaka brännskador.

ANVÄNDNING
FÖRDRÖJD START
Om du inte vill att kaffebryggaren ska starta direkt kan du använda funktionen för
fördröjd start. Exempelvis: Nu är klockan 8:00 och du vill att kaffebryggaren startar
bryggningen automatiskt kl. 13:00. Följ steg 1-5 i föregående stycke, så kan du
sedan ställa in tiden så här:
1. Ställ in den aktuella tiden som är 8:00 genom att trycka på knapparna “Hour”
och “Min”.
Obs! Tidscykeln är 24 timmar.
2. Tryck på ”Prog” en gång och ”Prog”-indikatorn blinkar i grönt. Displayen visar
“12:00” blinkandes. Sätt den automatiska starttiden till 13:00 genom att trycka
på ”Hour” och ”Min”.
3. Tryck på ”Prog” igen och indikatorn lyser grönt. Efter en stund kommer
displayen visa den aktuella tiden.
Obs! Du kan avbryta den automatiska startfunktionen genom att trycka på
”Prog”. Om du vill ändra tiden följer du steg 2-3 igen.
4. När tiden nåtts kommer ”On/off”-indikatorn lysa rött och enheten börjar brygga.
Enheten stängs av automatiskt när bryggningen är klar.
Obs! Under bryggning går det inte använda knapparna “Prog” ,“Hour” och
“Min”.
RENGÖRING OCH UNDERHÅLL
Användning: Koppla från enheten innan du rengör den. För att skydda dig mot
risken för elchock ska du inte sänka ned sladden, kontakten eller huvudenheten i
vatten. Efter varje användning ska du koppla från enheten från eluttaget.
1. Rengör alla löstagbara delar i varmt vatten.
2. Rengör utsidan med en mjuk, fuktig trasa för att ta bort fläckar.
3. Vattendroppar kan förekomma i den övre delen av tratten och sedan droppa
ned på bottendelen under bryggning. För att kontrollera detta bör du torka av
ytan med en ren, torr trasa efter varje användning.
4. Använd en fuktig trasa för att försiktigt torka av värmeplattan.
Obs! Använd aldrig några slipande rengöringsmedel för att rengöra någon del
av produkten.

TA BORT KALKAVLAGRINGAR
För att säkerställa att din kaffebryggare fungerar optimalt bör du regelbundet ta bort
de kalkavlagringar som kan uppstå beroende på vattenkvaliteten där du bor, samt
hur frekvent du använder kaffebryggaren. Vi rekommenderar följande procedur:
1. Fyll vattenbehållaren med vatten och avkalkningsmedel till MAX-nivån
(fördelningen av vatten och avkalkning är 4:1, se instruktionerna för
avkalkningsmedlet). Använd hushållsavkalkning.
2. Placera kannan på plattan.
3. Säkerställ att flergångsfiltret (utan kaffepulver) och filterhållaren är monterade.
4. Starta enheten för att brygga med avkalkningsmedlet.
5. När avkalkningsmedel motsvarande en kopp gått igenom stänger du av
enheten och låter medlet verka i 15 minuter.
6. Starta enheten och låt resten av avkalkningsmedlet gå igenom, tills
vattenbehållaren är helt tom.
7. Skölj genom att köra apparaten med enbart vatten minst tre gånger.
TIPS FÖR RIKTIGT GOTT KAFFE
– En ren kaffebryggare är avgörande för gott och smakrikt kaffe. Rengör
kaffebryggaren regelbundet genom att följa instruktionerna i kapitlet ”Rengöring
och underhåll”. Använd alltid fräscht, kallt vatten när du brygger kaffe.
– Förvara oanvänt kaffe i ett kallt, torrt utrymme. Öppnad förpackning ska slutas
tätt och förvaras i kyl för att bevara sin färskhet.
– För optimal kaffesmak kan du köpa hela kaffebönor och mala dem precis innan
bryggning.
– Återanvänd inte kaffepulver eftersom det kommer reducera kaffesmaken
kraftigt. Att värma upp kaffe är inte rekommenderat eftersom kaffe har sin bästa
smak direkt efter bryggning.
– Rengör kaffebryggaren när överextraktion orsakat oljighet. Små oljedroppar på
ytan av bryggt, svart kaffe beror på extraktion av olja från kaffepulvret. Oljighet
kan förekomma mer frekvent om kraftigt rostat kaffe används.

Read this instruction manual carefully before use and save it for future
reference. If you follow these instructions, your appliance will provide
you with years of good service.
– Before you connect the appliance: Ensure that the voltage rating
on the type plate corresponds to your mains voltage (type plate is
located on the bottom of the product).
– To reduce the risk of electric shock: Do not remove the cover.
There are no user serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to
qualified service personnel.
– Repairs to electrical appliances shall always be performed by
qualified personnel. Improper repairs may place the user and the
equipment at serious risk.
– Do not operate the appliance with a damaged plug or cord, after
a malfunction or after being dropped or damaged in any way.
Doing so may cause electric shock/personal injuries and property
damage may occur.
– If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified people to
avoid a hazard.
– Do not remove the appliance from the mains power supply by

cycles. Be careful not to get burned by the steam.
– Some parts of the appliance are hot when operated so only use
handles or knobs.
– Never leave an empty carafe on the heating plate, otherwise the
carafe is liable to crack.
– Never use the appliance if the carafe shows any signs of cracks
or if it has a loose or weakened handle. Only use the carafe with
his appliance.
– Do not set a hot carafe on a hot or cold surface.
– Do not let the coffee maker operate without water. Add water
before the appliance has been turned on.

OPERATION
BEFORE FIRST USE
Check that all accessories are complete and the unit is not damaged. Fill water into
the water tank (to the MAX level) and brew water for several times without coffee
powder, then discard the water. Clean and dry all detachable parts thoroughly
according to the section “Cleaning and maintenance”.
USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER
1. Open the water tank cover and fill the water tank with cold drinking water. The
water level should not exceed the MAX level as indicated on the water level
window.
2. Place the funnel into the funnel support. Make sure it is assembled correctly,
otherwise the water tank cover cannot be closed. Place a filter (1x4) in the
funnel. A reusable filter is included but you can use one-time-filters if you want.
3. Add coffee powder into the filter. Usually a cup of coffee needs a level spoon
of coffee powder, but you may adjust according to personal taste. Close the
water tank cover completely.
4. Close the carafe lid by turning it in clockwise direction until it is locked. Insert
the carafe onto the warming plate.
5. Connect the power cord into the outlet. The LCD display will indicate “12:00”.
6. Press the ”On/off” button. The ”On/off” indicator illuminates in red, and then the
appliance begins to work.
Note: During brewing, the buttons of “Prog” ,“Hour” and “Min” are invalid.
7. The brewing process can be interrupted by pressing the ”On/off” button at any
time, the ”On/off” indicator will extinguish. The appliance will continue brewing
once ”On/off” button is pressed again.
Note: You can take out the carafe, pour and serve at any time. The appliance
will stop dripping automatically. But the time cannot exceed 30 seconds. If the
time exceeds 30 seconds, the funnel will overflow.
8. Take out the carafe to serve when the brewing is finished (about one minute
after the coffee stops dripping out).
Note: The coffee you get will be less than the water you have added, as some
water is absorbed by the coffee ground.
9. The appliance will shut off automatically and enter into standby mode when
the brewing is finished. The coffee can be kept warm in the thermal carafe. We
suggest that the time of keeping warm is not more than 1 hour. For an optimum
coffee taste, serve it just after brewing.
10. Always turn off the coffee maker and disconnect it from the power supply when
not in use.
Note: Pay attention when you pour the coffee, otherwise you may get hurt as
the temperature of coffee just finished is high.

OPERATION
DELAY FUNCTION
If you do not want the coffee maker to start operation immediately, you can use the
delay start function. For example: Now it is 8:00 and you want the coffee maker to
start automatically at 13:00. Follow step 1-5 of the previous section, then you can
set the delay start function as follows:
1. Set the current time that is 8:00 by pressing the buttons of “Hour” and “Min”.
Note: The time cycle is 24 hours.
2. Press ”Prog” button once and the ”Prog” indicator flashes in green. The LCD
display shows “12:00” flickeringly. Set the automatic start time that is 13:00
by pressing the buttons of “Hour” and “Min”.
3. Press the ”Prog” button again and the ”Prog” indicator illuminates in green
solidly. After a while, the LCD display indicates the current time.
Note: You may cancel the automatic start function by pressing the ”Prog”
button. If you want to change the automatic start time, follow step 2-3 again.
4. When the time is due, the ”On/off” indicator will illuminate in red and the
appliance starts brewing. The appliance will shut off automatically after finish
brewing.
Note: During the brewing process, the buttons of “Prog” ,“Hour” and “Min” are
invalid.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Caution: Unplug the appliance before cleaning. To protect against electrical shock,
do not immerse cord, plug or unit in water or liquid. After each use, always make
sure the plug is removed from the wall outlet.
1. Clean all detachable parts after each use in hot water.
2. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth to remove stains.
3. Water droplets may build up in the above area of the funnel and drip down to
the product base during brewing. To control the dripping, wipe off the area with
a clean, dry cloth after each use.
4. Use a damp cloth to gently wipe the warming plate.
Note: Never use abrasive cleansers to clean any parts of the product.

REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS
To keep your coffee maker operating efficiently, periodically you should clean away
the mineral deposits left by the water according to the water quality in your area and
the frequency of use. We recommend removing mineral deposits as follows:
1. Fill the water tank with water and descale solution to the MAX level as indicated
on the water level window (the scale of water and descale solution is 4:1, refer
to the instructions of the descale solution).
2. Place the carafe onto the warming plate.
3. Make sure that the reusable filter (without coffee powder) and funnel are
assembled in place.
4. Start the appliance to start brewing the descale solution.
5. When the coffee maker has brewed one cup, switch off the appliance and
leave the solution to stay for 15 minutes.
6. Start the appliance and run off the rest of the solution until the water tank is
completely empty.
7. Rinse by operating the appliance with only water for at least 3 times.
HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING COFFEE
– A clean coffee maker is essential for making great-tasting coffee. Regularly
clean the coffee maker as specified in the “Cleaning and maintenance” section.
Always use fresh, cold water in the coffee maker.
– Store unused coffee powder in a cool, dry place. After opening a package
of coffee powder, reseal it tightly and store it in a refrigerator to maintain its
freshness.
– For an optimum coffee taste, buy whole coffee beans and finely grind them just
before brewing.
– Do not reuse coffee powder since this will greatly reduce the coffee
flavor. Reheating coffee is not recommended as coffee is at its peak flavor
immediately after brewing.
– Clean the coffee maker when over-extraction causes oiliness. Small oil droplets
on the surface of brewed, black coffee are due to the extraction of oil from the
coffee powder.
– Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily roasted coffees are used.
