Thank you for your purchase of the traveler battery charger RP-DC30.
• This intelligent charger for digital camera and camcorder batteries was designed with
advanced power charging technology, allowing you to charge your professional batteries
at studio or at home. The IDL (Identification Display Led) with red and green light illumination
provides a clear display of power and charging status.
• Please read these user manual carefully before operating this unit to charge battery pack.
• Charges a battery pack that runs on 3.2V to 7.8V thru exchangeable battery plates
• IDL (Indication Display LED) status light displays the power,and charging status with
dual color (red and green) light.
• Worldwide power use with voltage input between AC 100 - 240V;
• With advanced MCU control, charger fully controls the charging process of the battery.
• 100,000 levels of anti-static design, high temperature and fire-proof makes it safer.

• Automatic charging power out recognitions
• IIntelligent charging systems integrate the control systems within the charger and the
electronics within the battery to allow precise control over the charging process. As a safety
precaution with high-capacity batteries, a pre-charging stage is used. The charging cycle is
initiated with a low current. If there is no corresponding rise in the battery voltage, it indicates
that there is possibly a short circuit in the battery (zero volt activation).
• Impuls Voltage (IV) charging mode effectively charges lithium batteries. When a lithium battery
is nearly empty, we take constant current to charge it. The charger CPU automatically adjusts the
charging current to be lower than the maximum charging current that the battery can accept.
• When the battery is fully charged, this state is stopped.

1. Insert the supplied AC removable power plug, UK, US, or EU, depending on the mains
AC voltage where the charger is used (picture A).
2. Install an exchangeable battery charger plate depending on the battery model that
needsto be charged. The battery plates are sold separately (picture ). To find the appropriate
plate for a battery that you need to charge, please visit our web page “battery plate finder”

3. Install a rechargeable DV battery pack that needs to be charged into the installed battery
charger plate slot (picture C)
4. Plug the fully assembled battery charger with the battery pack onto the primary AC power
outlet (picture D).
5. The charger will turn ON automatically. The indicational LED light will illuminate red, and
the charger will start charging the battery. (picture F)
6. When the battery is fully charged, the LED light on the charger will illuminate a green color.
7. Remove the battery from the charger, and unplug the charger from the main AC power.

• The charger will be damaged if not used properly.
• Children should use it under the supervision of adults.
• Take out the D-tap connector from the charging slot of the rechargeable battery when the
battery is entirely charged.

Exchangeable battery charger plate
• The RP-DC50 digital dual charger can be used for all World brand battery models with
easily interchangeable battery plates. This economical option allows you to charge many
different batteries, all with one charger and a compatible model of battery charger plate.
• The charger automatically sets the charging voltage and current for the designed battery
pack. That leaves no space for charging errors!
