CUTties F
INTRODUCTION
CUTties est un outil manuel de coupe pratique pour colliers
de serrage plastiques.
Cette gamme d‘outils à été conçue pour couper la bande d‘un
collier sans endommager l‘isolant des ls et câbles, et ce en
n‘importe quel endroit : Pas de nécessité d‘atteindre la tête du
collier, souvent inaccessible.
Après utilisation, le CUTties ne laisse aucune chute ni débris
susceptible de polluer l‘environnement de travail si ce
n‘est un unique résidu de taille sufsamment importante
pour être facilement récupéré et jeté par l‘opérateur.
PRÉCAUTIONS À LIRE ATTENTIVEMENT AVANT EMPLOI
• Ne jamais placer le doigt dans la rainure de l‘outil utile
au croisement des lames.
• En cas de problème avec l‘outil, merci de contacter le
SAV ou votre contact habituel HellermannTyton.
• Ne pas démonter l‘outil par vous-même. Le cas échéant,
sa garantie ne saurait être conservée.

Etape 1
Amenez l’outil au contact
du collier en veillant à
toujours le positionner
à la verticale.
Etape 2
Exercez une légère pression
sur l‘outil pour que la
bande du collier pénètre
dans la gorge prévue à
cet effet.
Etape 3
Appuyez sur le bouton
poussoir de l‘outil tout en
maintenant une certaine
pression.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
CUTties is the ideal tool for removing plastic cable ties installed
on electrical harnesses. Due to its accuracy it will remove the
cable tie with the highest precision and without damaging
wires and cables. Due to its light weight design and ergono-
mic aluminium body, the CUTties tool is very easy to use and
can be operated using just one hand. HellermannTyton offers
three different sizes for the ultimate cut-off quality. The diffe-
rent sizes are recognisable by the colour of the button on top
of the tool and the number on the lable (1, 3 and 5). By using
the right size CUTties tool it will guarantee that the isolation of
your cable will not be damaged when removing the cable tie.
CAUTION - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USE
• Never place your nger into the groove of the tool whe-
re the blades pass each other.
• In the case of any problems with the tool, please con-
tact the maintenance department or your local Heller-
mannTyton representative.
• Never open the tool yourself - this will invalidate the
warranty.

PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG
Die Schneidwerkzeuge CUTties wurden für den Einsatz an Kabelbündeln
aller Arten zum Entfernen von Kabelbindern aus Kunststoff entwickelt.
Die Präzisionswerkzeuge sind aus einem leichten, ergonomischen
Aluminiumgehäuse gefertigt und mit einer Hand einfach zu bedienen.
Je nach Kabelbinderbreite und -dicke bietet HellermannTyton drei
verschiedene CUTties in den Größen 1, 3 und 5 an. Sie sind anhand ihrer
farblichen Kappe zu unterscheiden. Das Schneidwerkzeug durchtrennt
nur den Kabelbinder und schont dabei die Kabel. Ein versehentliches
Beschädigen der Isolierungen wie z. B. beim Einsatz eines Seitenschneiders
kann vermieden werden. Dies ist besonders bei dünnen und empndlichen
Kabelisolierungen von großem Vorteil.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Vor Gebrauch aufmerksam durchlesen :
• Vorsicht im Schneidebereich des Werkzeugs. Die Klingen sind sehr
scharf! Berühren Sie nicht das Messer. Verletzungsgefahr!
• Im Falle einer Reklamation kontaktieren Sie bitte direkt Ihre
HellermannTyton Niederlassung vor Ort.
• Das Werkzeug darf nur durch vom Hersteller geschultes
Fachpersonal geöffnet werden. Sollte das Werkzeug durch
unsachgemäßes Öffnen beschädigt werden, verfällt jeglicher
Gewährleistungsanspruch.
