SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
General Information
1. Read these instructions carefully and keep them in a safe
place.
2. There is a potential risk of injuries from misuse.
3. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left
unattended and before assembling, disassembling or
cleaning.
4. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the
appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
5. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and if they understand the hazards involved.
6. Children shall not play with the appliance.
7. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
8. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before
changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
9. Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades,
emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
10. Only use the appliance as described in this manual.
11. In case of damage caused by failure of not living up to this
manual the warranty will decay immediately. The
manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages
caused by failure of not living up to the manual, a negligent
use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this
manual.
12. Always remove the power cord and let it cool: Before
moving the unit; Before the unit is stored; Before you go
mounting or dismantle parts; Before cleaning or
maintenance work; After use.
13. Only have the appliance repaired by a qualified service
centre.

Electricity and heat
1. Regularly check the power cord for damage.
2. To remove the plug from the plug socket, pull the plug. Do
not pull the power cord.
3. Make sure the power cord does not come into contact with
hot surfaces.
4. Always remove the plug from the plug socket before you
move the appliance.
5. The machine should not be operated by means of an
external timer-switch or by means of a separate system with
remote control.
6. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high
voltage appliance on the same circuit.
7. To protect against electric shock do not immerse cord, plugs,
or housing in water or other liquid.
8. Do not touch the appliance if it falls into water. Remove the
plug from its socket, turn off the appliance and do not use it
again.
9. Do not use the appliance close to hot objects such as a stove
or oven.
Using the appliance
1. The use of accessory attachment not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
2. Only use the appliance indoors, in dry areas away from
water.
3. Do not immerse the appliance or the mains plug in water or
other liquids. There is a danger to life due to electric shock!
4. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use the appliance
outdoors or on wet surfaces.
5. Children are unable to recognize the hazards associated
with incorrect handling of electrical appliances. Therefore,
children should never use electric household appliances
unsupervised.
6. Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used
by or near children.
7. Never leave the appliance unattended during use.

8. Do not allow children to use the blender without
supervision.
9. This appliance is intended for household use only.
10. Only the jug and blade assembly are dishwasher safe till 70
degrees Celsius. The blade assembly can only be put into a
dishwasher when firmly installed on the jug in case the
blade damages the dishwasher.
11. Regarding the instructions for cleaning the surfaces which
come in contact with food, speed settings and operating
times, please refer to the below paragraph of the manual.

HOW TO USE
Caution: Make sure the motor base is unplugged from the power source and the control knob is set at the
position 0.
1. Place the jug onto the motor base. Rotate the jug clockwise to have it locked on the motor base. The blender
will not work if the jug isn’t locked into the motor base properly.
2. Put the liquid and diced food into the jug (no more than 1 L). Never fill the jug with ingredients that exceed
70°C .
3. Put the lid onto the jug. Make sure it is placed firmly onto the jug.
4. Insert the measuring cap into the middle of the lid.
5. Put the plug into the power outlet. Switch on the appliance by rotating the control knob to choose the speed
1, 2 or pulse function.
6. After use, rotate the control knob to the position 0 and remove the plug from the outlet.
Note:
For quick or delicate blending tasks, turn the control knob to the P position and hold it for a few seconds.
Operate several times until the consistence you want is obtained.
When crushing a great quantity of ingredients, keep one hand upon the lid to make sure the lid is firmly in
its place.
For each use, the consecutive operation time should not exceed 3 minutes. At least 10 minutes of rest time
are required between two continuous cycles. Let the appliance cool to room temperature before performing
the next operation cycle.
To crush ice, add up to 6 ice cubes each time.
Never blend large pieces of solid food, frozen food and bones in the appliance as it may cause damage.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Caution:
Handle the blade assembly with care as the blades are sharp!
Only the jug and blade assembly can be cleaned in a dishwasher and the temperature setting of the dishwasher
should never exceed 70°C.
Never use any water or liquid more than 70°C to clean any detachable parts.
1. Fill the jug half-full with water (< 70°C ) and a little cleaning agent. Turn the control knob to P position for a
few seconds.

2. Remove the mains plug from the power outlet.
3. Take off the jug from the motor base. Rinse the jug and dry it thoroughly.
4. Do not immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid. Use a humid cloth to clean the motor base and
dry it thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaning materials.
5. The blade assembly can be took off from the jug. Turn the jug upside down. Move the blade base clockwise
to release it from the bottom of jug. Pull the blade base out.
6. Disassemble the other parts after each use and wash them in soapy water (< 70°C ). Then rinse with clean
water (< 70°C ) and dry thoroughly.
CAUTION
Never use boiling liquids.
Never run the blender empty or with solids only.
To reduce the risk of injury, never operate the appliance without the lid and measuring cap in place.
Make sure the lid seal ring and bottom seal ring are in their places when reassembling.
Do not remove the jug from the motor base while the appliance is in operation.
Do not use the appliance if blade assembly is bent or damaged.

and manufacturing errors.
For all domestic electrical appliances, the warranty period is 2 years from the date of purchase.
The warranty on this article is invalidated if:
a. the defect occurs through incorrect or improper use, neglect, connection to the wrong power voltage, or if
dropped or knocked;
b. you have attempted to repair the article yourself, or have had it repaired by a repair service other than HEMA
during the warranty period.
If you wish to make a claim under the warranty terms:
You will need to hand in the article at one of our branches together with the warranty receipt. Under normal
circumstances the article will be repaired free of charge within 14 workdays.
Extra certainty for the right choice
If, after purchasing the article, you are dissatisfied (because it is not exactly what you expected or you already
have this article), you can return the article within 30 days of purchase, on condition that it is undamaged and in
the original packaging.
Remember that you must always bring your sales receipt.

Algemeen
1. Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig door en bewaar deze

13. Laat reparaties alleen door een gekwalificeerd
servicecentrum uitvoeren.
Elektriciteit en warmte
1. Controleer het snoer regelmatig op beschadigingen.
2. Trek aan de stekker en niet aan het snoer wanneer u de
stekker uit het stopcontact haalt.
3. Voorkom dat het snoer in aanraking komt met een heet
oppervlak of stoom.
4. Haal altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het
apparaat verplaatst.
5. Het apparaat dient niet bediend te worden door middel van
een externe tijdschakelaar of door middel van een apart
systeem met afstandsbediening.
6. Voorkom overbelasting door niet te veel apparaten op een
groep aan te sluiten.
7. Dompel de kabel, de stekker of behuizing nooit onder in
water of andere vloeistoffen om het risico op elektrische
schokken te vermijden.
8. Raak het apparaat niet aan als het in water is gevallen. Haal
de stekker uit het stopcontact, schakel het apparaat uit en
gebruik het niet meer.
9. Gebruik het apparaat niet in de directe nabijheid van
hittebronnen zoals een fornuis of oven.
Gebruik
1. Gebruik van accessoires niet aanbevolen door de fabrikant
van het apparaat kan leiden tot persoonlijk letsel.
2. Gebruik het apparaat alleen binnenshuis, in droge ruimtes
en niet in de nabijheid van water.
3. Dompel het apparaat of de stekker niet onder in water of
andere vloeistoffen. Dit kan een elektrische schok
veroorzaken met de dood tot gevolg!

apparaat niet buiten of op natte oppervlakken te gebruiken.
5. Laat kinderen nooit zonder toezicht elektrische
huishoudelijke apparaten gebruiken. Kinderen zijn niet in
staat de gevaren in te schatten die het verkeerd gebruik van
elektrische apparaten met zich meebrengt.
6. Houd kinderen die zich in nabijheid van het apparaat
bevinden of het apparaat gebruiken, altijd onder toezicht
van een volwassene.
7. Laat het apparaat tijdens het gebruik nooit onbeheerd
achter.
8. Laat kinderen de blender niet gebruiken zonder toezicht.
9. Dit apparaat is alleen bedoeld voor huishoudelijk gebruik.
10. Alleen de kan en het mesgedeelte zijn vaatwasserbestendig
tot 70 graden Celsius. Het mesgedeelte kan alleen in een
vaatwasser worden gewassen wanneer het stevig op de kan
wordt vastgemaakt om schade door het mes door
vermijden.

HOE GEBRUIKT U HET APPARAAT
Opgelet: Zorg dat de stekker uit het stopcontact is gehaald en de regelknop op de stand 0 is ingesteld.
1. Plaats de kan op de motoreenheid. Draai de kan met de klok mee om het op de motoreenheid vast te zetten.
De blender werkt niet als de kan niet juist en stevig op de motoreenheid is vastgezet.
2. Doe de vloeistof en de in blokjes gesneden levensmiddelen in de kan (niet meer dan 1 L). Vul de kan nooit
met ingrediënten die warmer dan 70°C zijn.
3. Plaats het deksel op de kan. Zorg dat het deksel stevig op de kan is geplaatst.
4. Breng de maatbeker in het midden van het deksel aan.
5. Steek de stekker in een stopcontact. Schakel het apparaat in door de regelknop te draaien naar de gewenste
stand: 1, 2 of P (pulswerking).
6. Na gebruik, draai de regelknop naar de stand 0 en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
Opmerking:
Om de levensmiddelen snel of voorzichtig te mengen, stel de regelknop in op de stand P en houd het enkele
seconden vast. Voer dit enkele keren uit totdat u de gewenste consistentie hebt bereikt.
Wanneer u een grote hoeveelheid ingrediënten vergruist, houd één hand op het deksel om ervoor te zorgen
dat het stevig op zijn plaats blijft.
Gebruik het apparaat niet langer dan 3 minuten ononderbroken. Wacht minstens 10 minuten voordat u het
apparaat opnieuw gebruikt. Laat het apparaat tot kamertemperatuur afkoelen voordat u het apparaat
opnieuw gebruikt.
Om ijs te vergruizen, doe telkens maximaal 6 ijsblokjes in de kan.
Meng nooit grote stukken vast voedsel, bevroren voedsel en botten in het apparaat, dit kan schade
veroorzaken.
REINIGEN EN ONDERHOUD
Voorzichtig:
Wees voorzichtig wanneer u het mesgedeelte hanteert, de messen zijn zeer scherp!
Alleen de kan en het mesgedeelte kunnen in een vaatwasser worden gewassen op een temperatuurinstelling
van maximaal 70°C.
Gebruik nooit water of een andere vloeistof van meer dan 70°C om de afneembare onderdelen te reinigen.
1. Vul de kan voor de helft met water (< 70°C) en een beetje reinigingsmiddel. Draai de regelknop enkele
seconden naar de stand P.

2. Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
3. Verwijder de kan van de motoreenheid. Spoel de kan en wrijf het grondig droog.
4. Dompel de motoreenheid niet in water of een andere vloeistof. Reinig de motoreenheid met een vochtige
doek en wrijf het vervolgens grondig droog. Gebruik geen schurende schoonmaakmiddelen.
5. Het mesgedeelte kan van de kan worden losgemaakt. Draai de kan ondersteboven. Beweeg het mesgedeelte
met de klok mee om het van de onderkant van de kan los te maken. Trek het mesgedeelte uit.
6. Ontmantel de overige onderdelen na elk gebruik en was deze af in een sopje (< 70°C). Spoel ze daarna af met
schoon water (< 70°C) en droog ze af.
LET OP
Nooit kokende vloeistoffen gebruiken.
Zet de blender nooit aan als hij leeg is. Nooit alleen met vast voedsel gebruiken.
Om het risico op letsel te beperken, gebruik het apparaat nooit zonder het deksel en de maatbeker op de
juiste plaats.
Zorg dat u de afdichtingsring voor het deksel en de onderste afdichtingsring tijdens de montage opnieuw op
de juiste plaats vastmaakt.
Verwijder de kan niet van de motoreenheid terwijl het apparaat in werking is.
Gebruik het apparaat niet als het mesgedeelte gebogen of beschadigd is.

Hema B.V. garandeert het op de garantiebewijsbon vermelde artikel volledig tegen gebreken als gevolg van

Voor alle elektrisch huishoudelijke apparaten is de garantietermijn 2 jaar na de datum van aankoop.
De garantie op het artikel vervalt indien:
a. het defect is ontstaan door ondeskundig of oneigenlijk gebruik, verwaarlozing, aansluiten op de verkeerde
netspanning of door vallen of stoten;
b. u, gedurende de garantieperiode, het artikel zelf of door een niet-HEMA reparateur heeft geprobeerd te
herstellen.
Als u aanspraak kunt en wilt maken op garantie:
Dient het artikel, vergezeld van de garantiebewijsbon, te worden aangeboden in één van onze vestigingen. In
het algemeen zal, behoudens bijzondere omstandigheden, de reparatie binnen 14 werkdagen geheel gratis
worden uitgevoerd.
Extra zekerheid voor een goede keus
Als u met de aankoop van het artikel achteraf toch niet gelukkig bent (bijvoorbeeld omdat de uitvoering
tegenvalt of een dubbele aankoop heeft plaatsgevonden), kunt u binnen 30 dagen na aankoop, mits
onbeschadigd en in originele verpakking, het artikel terugbrengen.

5. Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des personnes dont les
capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales sont réduites
ou dont l'expérience ou les connaissances ne sont pas
suffisantes, à condition qu'ils bénéficient d'une surveillance
ou qu'ils aient reçu des instructions quant à l'utilisation de
l'appareil en toute sécurité et dans la mesure où ils en
comprennent bien les dangers potentiels.
6. Les enfants ne doivent pas utiliser l'appareil comme un
jouet.
7. Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être
remplacé par le fabricant, son service après vente ou des

12. Toujours débrancher le cordon d’alimentation et permettre
à l’appareil de refroidir: Avant de déplacer l’unité; Avant de
ranger l’unité; Avant la démonte ou remonte de pièces;
Avant toute opération de dépannage ou d’entretien; Après
utilisation.
13. Confiez les reparations à un service technique qualifié.
Électricité et chaleur
1. Inspectez le cordon d’alimentation régulièrement.
2. Lorsque vous débranchez la fiche, saisissez la fiche elle-
même; ne tirez pas sur le cardon.
3. Veillez à ce que le cordon n’entre pas en contact avec une
surface très chaude ou avec de la vapeur.
4. Débranchez toujours la fiche lorsque vous déplacez
l’appareil.
5. L’appareil ne doit pas être mis en marche au moyen d’une
prise minuteur externe ou au moyen d’un système de
télécommande séparé.
6. Pour éviter un court circuit, n’utilisez pas un autre appareil
de haut voltage sur le même circuit.
7. Pour vous protéger des électrocutions. N’immergez pas le
cordon, les fiches ou le boîtier dans l’eau ou tout autre
liquide.
8. Ne rattrapez pas l’appareil s’il tombe dans l’eau. Débranchez
la fiche, éteignez l’appareil et cessez de l’utiliser.
9. N’utilisez pas l’appareil à proximité directe de sources de
chaleur telles qu’une cuisinière ou un four.
Utilisation
1. L’utilisation d’accessoires non recommandés pas le
constructeur de l’équipement peut provoquer des blessures.
2. Utilisez d’appareil à l’intérieur, dans une pièce sèche et pas
trop près de l’eau.
3. N'immergez pas l'appareil ou la fiche de courant dans l'eau
ou un autre liquide. Il y a un risque d'électrocution fatale!

4. Pour limité risque d’électrocution n’utilisez pas cet appareil
à l’extérieur ou sur surface mouillée.
5. Les enfants ne sont pas à même de reconnaître les risques
résultants d'une mauvaise utilisation des équipements
électriques. Ils ne doivent donc jamais utiliser les
équipements électroménagers sans surveillance.
6. Une surveillance aigue est nécessaire pour tous les appareils
utilisés par ou près d’enfants.
7. Ne laissez jamais l'appareil sans surveillance lorsqu'il est en
marche.
8. Ne laissez pas les enfants utiliser ce produit sans
surveillance.
9. Cet appareil est destiné à une utilisation à domicile
seulement.
10. Seuls le bol et le couteau peuvent aller au lave-vaisselle à
une température maximale de 70 °C. Le couteau ne peut
être lavé au lave-vaisselle que s’il est solidement assemblé
sur le bol pour éviter qu’il n’endommage le lave-vaisselle.

MODE D'EMPLOI
Attention: Vérifiez que le bloc-moteur est débranché de la prise électrique et que le bouton de contrôle est
positionné sur « 0 ».
1. Placez le bol sur le bloc-moteur. Tournez le bol dans le sens horaire pour le verrouiller sur le bloc-moteur. Le
blender ne fonctionnera pas si le bol n’est pas correctement verrouillé sur le bloc-moteur.
2. Mettez le liquide et les aliments coupés en dés dans le bol (pas plus de 1 L). Ne remplissez pas le bol avec
des ingrédients dont la température est supérieure à 70 °C.
3. Placez le couvercle sur le bol. Vérifiez qu’il est solidement assemblé sur le bol.
4. Insérez le bouchon doseur dans le centre du couvercle.
5. Branchez la fiche de l’appareil dans une prise électrique. Allumez l’appareil en tournant le bouton de contrôle
et sélectionnez la vitesse 1, 2 ou P (fonction pulse).
6. Après utilisation, tournez le bouton de contrôle sur la position « 0 » et débranchez la fiche de la prise
électrique.
Remarque:
Pour les mixages rapides ou délicats, tournez le bouton de contrôle sur la position « P » et maintenez-le dans
cette position quelques secondes. Mettez l'appareil en marche plusieurs fois jusqu'à obtenir la consistance
souhaitée.
Lors du mixage d’une grande quantité d’ingrédients, placez une main sur le couvercle pendant toute
l’utilisation pour le maintenir fermement en place.
À chaque utilisation, la durée de fonctionnement continu ne doit pas dépasser 3 minutes. Entre deux cycles
de fonctionnement continu, laissez l’appareil reposer 10 minutes au minimum. Laissez l’appareil refroidir
jusqu’à la température ambiante avant l’utilisation suivante.
Pour broyer de la glace, mettez 6 glaçons au maximum à chaque fois.
Ne mixez jamais de grands morceaux d’aliment solide, d’aliment congelé ou d’os dans l’appareil, car cela peut
l’endommager.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Attention:
Manipulez le couteau en faisant attention, car les lames sont tranchantes!
Seuls le bol et le couteau peuvent être nettoyés au lave-vaisselle, le réglage de température du lave-vaisselle
ne doit pas dépasser 70 °C.

N’utilisez jamais d’eau ou de liquide de plus de 70 °C pour nettoyer les pièces amovibles.
1. Remplissez à moitié le bol avec de l’eau (< 70 °C) et un peu de détergent. Tournez le bouton de contrôle sur
la position « P » pendant quelques secondes.
2. Débranchez la fiche de l’appareil de la prise électrique.
3. Retirez le bol du bloc-moteur. Rincez le bol et séchez-le intégralement.
4. N’immergez pas le bloc-moteur dans de l’eau ni dans aucun autre liquide. Nettoyez le bloc-moteur avec un
chiffon humide, puis séchez-le complètement. N’utilisez pas de substances abrasives.
5. Le couteau peut être démonté du bol. Retournez le bol. Déplacez la base du couteau dans le sens horaire
pour la défaire du bas du bol. Tirez le couteau hors de sa base.
6. Désassemblez les autres pièces après chaque utilisation et nettoyez-les avec de l’eau (< 70 °C) savonneuse.
Puis, rincez à l’eau (< 70 °C) claire et séchez bien.
AVERTISSEMENT
N'utilisez jamais des liquides en ébullition.
Ne faites jamais fonctionner le mixer à vide ou uniquement avec des produits à l'état solide.
Pour réduire le risque de blessure, n’utilisez jamais l’appareil sans le couvercle et le bouchon doseur
assemblés.
Veillez à réassembler le joint de couvercle et le joint inférieur lors du réassemblage des pièces.
Ne retirez pas le bol du bloc-moteur quand l’appareil est en marche.
N’utilisez pas l’appareil si le couteau est tordu ou endommagé.

L'article, accompagné du ticket de caisse, doit être apporté en répara tion dans l'un de nos magasins. En règle
générale la réparation est effectuée dans un délai de 15 jours - sauf en cas de circonstances exceptionnelles - et
entièrement gratuitement.
Une sécurité supplémentaire pour être sûr de votre choix
Si toutefois vous n'étiez pas satisfait de l'article (par exemple, si le modèle ne vous plaît pas ou que vous avez fait
un achat double), vous pouvez ramener l'article intact et dans son emballage d'origine dans les 30 jours qui
suivent son achat. N'oubliez pas le ticket de caisse. Vous pouvez échanger l'article ou, si vous le souhaitez, être
remboursé.
