Please follow instruction steps in this manual for correct and safe operations of the
device. Pay special attention to the following warning signs beside the operation
descriptions where applicable.
a) DANGER
• This message appears where the operation may potentially cause severe
injury if instruction not followed correctly.

defect to other objects.

• This message appears where the operation may cause slight damage to other
objects or slight bodily harm if operational instructions are not followed correctly.

• This message appears where the operation may involve risk of defect to the
device if not instructions are not followed correctly.
Sterilization of the Fibre-Optic Probe:
Before first use and after use on each patient, the fibre-optic probe should be disinfec-
ted or sterilized. It is recommended that the Probe be autoclaved at 134°C for 5 min-
utes.
Suggestion is to use autoclave at 134°C for maximum results. The sterilization time
at 134°C should be 5 minutes.
Note: Please disconnect the Anti glare cone (orange) from the handpiece and
autoclave separately.
Product Cleaning:
If there is any dirt or stains on the surface of the control panel or surface of the hand-
piece, use a cloth to wipe clean. You can also use a neutral cleansing agent.
Note: Never use a solvent or volatile oil for cleansing as this can lead to fading
of the markings on the control panel.

** Please follow the instructions below carefully to insure correct function of this device.
1. Insert the fibre optic probe into the handpiece and ensure that it is securely installed
at the fixed position (2mm of the fiber optic metal colour will remain visible).
2. Place the orange anti-glare cone onto the fibre optic probe and adjust the cone
position according to the dentist's preference.
3. Connect the DC adapter to the charger stand and plug the adapter into the mains.
** NOTE: Check to make sure the RED led light is lit and immediately switch to GREEN
led light at this point.
4. Place the handpiece in the charger stand to begin the initial charging.
(As shown in picture below)

** IMPORTANT :
> Please make sure the initial charge of the battery
is for at least 6 hours before the FIRST use.
This will insure the maximum length of the
battery life.
> When battery power decreases to the lowest
supply level, a continuous beeping sound will ring
for one minute to remind the user to recharge.
> Please do not charge the unit permanently.
Mode:
There are three modes at your choices. Each mode gives user 0 ~ 99
seconds of setting time.
(A) MODE 1:
> full power
(up to 800 ~1000mW/cm2)
Default setting time is 8 sec.
(B) MODE 2:
> ramp
(soft up to full power)
Default setting time is 10 sec.
(C) MODE 3:
> Pulse
(full power, 1 second on, 1 second off)
Default setting time is 20 sec.

> Once the user sets the mode, press Time button for longer than 2 seconds (till the num-
ber shown in the LED panel starts to blink), and press again to add time, a second per push.
> Operating time will start add up after one second if the user pushes the Time-button
continuosly.
> After setting up the Mode selection and operating, triggers the start button for start.
> Press again to stop operation at any time.
> Auto Power Saving Mode: the device will turn off automatically if not used for longer
than 90 seconds. Operation resumes once the user presses the start button again.
> In “Mode 1,8 second” setting, the cycles can be utilized 30 consecutive cycle contin-
uosly. Caution: If operate HS-LED 1200 for longer than 30 cycles (mode 1 8-second)
continuosly could result high heat that is hazardous to the heat of patientss teeth.

2. Install the fiber Optic.
3. Aim the tip at the sensor and press Start, to start checking the light intensity.
The HS-LED 1200 is equipped with a special built-in magnetic fan motor to prevent over-
heating and to prolong the light emitting time.

> The cooling system will be activated
when the heat starts to accumulate.
> If the system is over heated,
HS LED 1200 will be turned off
automatically for safety purpose.

1. When the power is low, place the handpiece onto the charger for charging.
2. When the charger starts charging, the power light will deem and the charge light will
be rurned on to indicate the charging begins.
3. The power light resumes after the handpiece if fully charged.

When failure or errors occur, please use the table below to try and fix the device. If the prob-
lem remains, please send back to the manufacturer or your local agent for prompt repair.

a) PELIGRO

aparato si no se realiza correctamente.
Esterilización de la punta de fibra óptica:
Antes del primer uso y después de la operación con cada paciente, la punta de esteril-
ización debe ser desinfectada o esterilizada. Se sugiere usar un autoclave a 134°C para
el mejor resultado. El tiempo de esterilización a 134°C debería ser 5 minutos.
Nota: Por favor, desconecte la punta de fibra óptica (naranja) de la pieza de mano y
esterilízela aparte.
Limpieza del Producto:
Si hay suciedad en la superficie del panel de control o en la pieza de mano, por favor,
use un paño para limpiarla. Lo puede limpiar también con un agente limpiador neutro.
Nota: Nunca use disolvente o aceite volátil para limpiar la fibra óptica.

** Por favor, siga las instrucciones de abajo cuidadosamente para asegurar el correcto

1. Inserte la punta de fibra óptica en la pieza de mano y asegúrese de que está conectada
correctamente (2mm de la fibra óptica color metalizado continuarán siendo visibles).
2. Coloque el cono antideslumbrante en la salida de la fibra óptica y ajústelo a la posición
preferida por el dentista.

Modo:
Hay tres maneras a elegir. Cada modo ofrece al usuario entre 0 y 99 segundos de
tiempo de encendido.
(A) MODO 1:
> Full Power (Máxima potencia)
(por encima de 800-1000mW/cm)

(B) MODO 2:
> Ramp (potencia media)

> Una vez establecido el modo, presionar el botón TIME más de 2 segundos (hasta que el
número que aparece en la pantalla LED empiece a parpadear), y pulsarlo otra vez para
añadir más tiempo, un segundo por pulsada.
> El tiempo empezará un segundo después si se presiona el botón TIME continuamente.
> Después de establecer el tiempo de polimerización, poner la lámpara en fun-
cionamiento presionando el botón de Start.
> Presionar otra vez para pararla en cualquier momento.
> Modo de ahorro de energía: el sistema se apagará automáticamente si no se usa
durante 90 segundos. Volverá a funcionar de nuevo presionando Start.
> El “Modo 1.8 segundos” permite usar 30 ciclos seguidos continuamente. Cuidado: si
se usan más de 30 ciclos seguidos, se puede generar un exceso de calor en el diente,
siendo peligroso para el paciente.
1. Elegir Modo 1.
2. Instalar la fibra óptica.
3. Apuntar la punta al sensor y presionar Start para comenzar a comprobar la intensi-
dad de la luz.
La Lámpara HS-LED 1200 está equipada con un ventilador magnético que previene el
sobrecalentamiento, a la vez que prolonga el tiempo de emisión de luz.

1. Cuando la batería esté baja, colocar la pieza de mano en el cargador.
2. Cuando empieza a cargarse, la luz de encendido disminuye y se enciende la luz de
carga, lo que indica que el proceso de cargado ha comenzado.
3. La luz de encendido se reanudará cuando la pieza de mano esté totalmente cargada.
