CASE ASSEMBLY
1 Lay bed body sides on the floor.
2 Attach CAM LOCK PINS in ø5mm holes, and fasten STOP & LOCK, using Philips PZ2
screwdriver.
3 Stand body sides on back edge and attach mechanism arms, with 1/4’’-20 FH bolts. Use
#3 Robertson on bolts and 7/16’’or 11mm wrench for nuts. Tighten until bolt head is
flush. Cover bolt heads with colored tabs.

CASE ASSEMBLY
4Stand body sides in upright position and fasten bottom stretcher (#3) with CAM LOCKS
facing back of the body sides.
Continue assembling by fastening bottom back (#4), top back (#5) and shelf (#6).
Finish bed body assembling by adding body top (#8)

BED ASSEMBLY
1 Lay bed sides and bed rails on the floor
and insert CAM LOCK PINS in every ø5 mm
hole.
2 Carefully insert bed panel in the
grooves of one bed side (left or right) and
fasten CAM LOCKS.
3 Add one bed rail and fasten CAM
LOCKS.
4 Carefully set second bed panel and secure
it on one end, and fasten CAM LOCKS
to bed rail.

BODY ASSEMBLY
5Add second bed rail and bed side, and fasten CAM LOCKS. Attach bed panel plate with
#8 3/4 PH screws, and attach handle.
6 Bed desk comes fully assembled. Lay it down in the front of bed body and insert power
bar cord through hole on the top of the desk. Feed cord below bottom stretcher and
plug it in the wall socket.

FINAL ASSEMBLY
7 Insert “Link Pivot” bushings in ø12 mm holes on the desk sides and attach plates loosely
with 5 mm bolts.
Insert same bushings in the holes on the bed sides and carefully flip bed assembly over
desk. NOTE: Assembling of HiddenBed requires 2 people!
8 Tighten all 5 mm bolts using 4 mm Allen key.
9 Push bed-desk assembly inside bed body and attach it to the mechanism with bushing
and 12mm bolts. To align bolts and mechanism holes, tilt bed legs for few inches and tilt
whole bed up. NOTE: Desk is hanging 1/4 inch above floor.

FINAL ASSEMBLY
1 Flip bed upright, insert locks and secure them with #8 5/8” screws. Locks will keep bed
in upright position.

2 Set gas spring pin in first or second top notch of the mechanism, wrap belt or plastic
strapping around mechanism arm and pull it down and hook it on the desk bearer.

15 Unlock bed and pull it downward using handle.
Place mattress in bed opening and secure with Velcro strap.
Your Hiddenbed is now ready for use.

GUIDELINES FOR PROPER USE
-Always stand in the center of your Hiddenbed to make transformation
-To open the bed, first unlock it, and then pull the handle towards body.
-Always lock desk in position before use
-Do not stand or sit on desk
-Do not stand on edge of bed rails
-Max weight on desk 45 lbs (20 kg)
-Max weight on bed 500 lbs (226 kg)
-To close the bed, lift front bed rail to chest height and push into unit, lock bed securely using stop &
lock.
-If Hiddenbed is installed on uneven floor or thick carpet, it may be necessary to secure it to wall for
safe operation.

WARNINGS
-Side panels bear the majority of weight and should be on level surface. Hiddenbed can be placed on carpet,
but do not place carpet or any shim beneath desk side or body side alone.
-Use a mattress with a maximum height of 10 in.
Hiddenbed is designed to carry weight on desk 20-40 lbs (10-20 kg) is ideal. Using these balance settings you
will not have to use more than 100N to transform Hiddenbed furniture.
-Avoid excessive or asymmetric loads on desk.
-While lowering, please verify that bed bottom does not touch things left on the desk. Items left on the desk
cannot exceed 18 inches height. There is less height available at rear of desk.
-Be careful not to trap fingers between moving parts.
-If power or signal cables are to be installed, ensure they will not be pinched when transforming Hiddenbed.
